It's insecurity that makes wives pick their husbands' calls when they are not told to do so.But I see nothing wrong in wives/husbands answering their spouses' calls (even when not told to do so) if there is trust in that relationship.

I don't think it's a good idea.I guess ur family members are just bothered about the future,just in case things don't work out btwn both of u.Your brother's marriage cld be affected if things don't work out btw you both.
