There is no justification whatsoever for someone whether male or female to be aggressive towards his/her partner.  Where there is tension, this ought to be dealt with through communication from both sides.  Aggression in a relationship is unacceptable, and uncivilised.

I'm completely shocked by the comments made by some men, to the effect that men have to respond aggressively to female aggression.  I'll expect that men being from the stronger sex, should display restraint, and maturity in dealing with aggression from women.  Two wrongs don't make a right....even if it does make you feel better!
