Foot in Mouth suffering controversial former minister of the FCT, Malam Nasir Elrufai, has given an unusual birthday gift to the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye. The controversial minister is asking Pastor Adeboye to resign in a post on his twitter profile.
Some people mocked Elrufai and say that since he sees his hopes of clinching the CPC presidential ticket dimming as Buhari has indicated that he will contest in 2015 contrary to his earlier promise, Elrufai now has set his eye on contesting for the post of General Overseer of the RCCG and sees Adeboye as a stumbling block in his ambition.
Others said that perhaps it is a case of misdirected anger. It might be that Elrufai is angry at Buhari for changing his mind about contesting and is hitting back at him subliminally by projecting his anger at pastor Adeboye who was born on the same year as Buhari. The fact remains that if he can ask Pastor Adeboye to retire at 70 then what is the rational for supporting Buhari's presidential bid when Buhari is also turning 70 this year and wil be 73 inn 2015.
Many are wondering what business Elrufai who is not a member of the RCCG has with the retirement or non retirement of Adeboye. Maybe he is finally going insane.

Bimbo Olumuyiwa Oyewole (54) was living as Jerry Thomas for about 20 years .The real Jerry Thomas was reportedly murdered in Queens, New York, in 1992. Mr Oyewole was arrested on Monday at his home in Elizabeth.
Oyewole, an Airport supervisor, oversaw 30 security officers at Newark Liberty International Airport in his position as a supervisor. Authorities say a longtime security supervisor at a New Jersey airport has been arrested on a charge he was using the identity of a New York City man who was murdered 20 years ago.
His co-workers knew him as Jerry Thomas, a man who was murdered in New York City in 1992, the same year Oyewole allegedly assumed his name when he started working at the airport.
It wasn't immediately clear how Thomas' personal information was acquired.
It has been over a year since Samuel Eleng and his wife, Favour, lost their two-year-old twin daughter at the Children’s department of the Canaan Land, Winners Chapel headquarters, Sango-Ota in Ogun State, and yet, there is no sign of the girl. The couple are still stunned by the mysterious disappearance of Praise on April 17, 2011, an Easter Sunday. Although the Church’s founder, David Oyedepo, was said to have shown support to the family, however, Samuel alleged that the Church had been meddling with the case to prevent it from going public.
“We handed our girls, Praise and Glory, over to the school teachers under whose custody many other children were kept. They gave us two tags as proof that we had our children under their care for that day,” said Samuel. However, by the end of the church service, Praise had gone missing from the class in which she was left. Even the teachers in charge of the twin girls were not in sight, as they were said to have all gone for service as at the time the couple went to get their daughters. “I saw my wife around the vicinity of the Children’s section, she was crying. She told me that Praise was missing,” he said.
Samuel said they eventually got hold of one of the four teachers supposedly in charge of the children’s class, who was also at a loss regarding the whereabouts of Praise. “She claimed not to know but advised us to check other classes. So we started moving around from class to class, around the church premises,” he continued. By then apprehensive but still hopeful, the couple waited until after the service and reported the matter to Oyedepo, who prayed and joined them in the search.
“He (Oyedepo) walked with us to the Children’s department and after praying, he said he has not seen any evil signal,” Samuel said. However, a more frantic search for Praise was not successful as the hours harrowingly dragged on into days and months for the troubled family. “I was thinking so many things; how can I come to the house of God and my child will suddenly disappear? Even if it was time for rapture, how can it just pick my child only?” Samuel said.
The case was later reported by the church’s Chief Security Officer, Supol Cosmas, at the Police Area Command in Onipanu, Sango-Ota in Ogun State, where one Ijeoma Lawal was assigned as the Investigating Police Officer (IPO). A source at the police station said that Samuel was questioned but the four teachers directly connected to Praise’s disappearance were prevented from making statements.
The source also claimed that a call had come from a senior pastor of the church asking the police not to interrogate the teachers because they had volunteered for the job and should not be put through any hassles.

Oyerinde, 44, was shot dead by four gunmen who invaded his house located in Ugbor area, Benin City around 1 a.m.
Shortly after they stormed the compound, they bounded the security guard while two of them forced their way through the front door and made straight for his bedroom.
On recognizing that it was Mr. Oyerinde’s brother-in-law who was actually sleeping on the bed, they immediately left him and went for the wife, Funke, asking her to lead them to the husband who, unknown to them, was sleeping in the living room.
On sighting him, they instantly fired four shots, one to the head, chest, abdomen and hip, killing Oyerinde instantly. The gunmen later fled without taking anything from the house.

The killing of Mr. Oyerinde is coming exactly six days after Governor Adams Oshiomhole’s convoy was attacked along Warrake-Auchi road, by a truck that curiously veered off its track and headed straight for the staff car, missing it by the whiskers. Three journalists were killed while others including security details, sustained various degree of injuries.
Curiously, at about 2.45am the following day, the home of the Information Commissioner, Mr Louis Odion, was invaded by four gunmen who also missed him because he opted to pass the night in a friend’s house located in another part of the city. A member of the Edo State House of Assembly, Hon Johnson Oghuma was also similarly attacked by gunmen recently. Oghuma who represents Etsako Central had his car riddled with bullets as he was on his way to Fugar, his hometown.
Odion had at a press briefing last Sunday, raised fears that top government functionaries were being targeted for elimination.
Oyerinde who read Mass Communication at the University of Lagos, was seconded from the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) to work for the comrade governor in November 2007. He is survived by his wife, Funke, four children and an aged mother.
This sequence of sordid events coming each time on the eve of the flag off of Governor Oshiomhole’s campaign, raises grave concern and therefore demands thorough investigation by the security forces.
