Thanks sophiebaby, you are very right!

I find that divorce is something that some don't fully understand, until they have been through it. Sometimes you can't 'work it out'. Some are soo good at deceiving everyone around them, know one knows who they 'really' are...even their family.  Then one day, their true colors show.

Having gone through it myself, its the hardest thing I ever had to do as a Christian. But it was better than my other option, staying in an abusive marriage, full of all the reasons listed by the poster.  My child deserved better...

I was once told that a man should think about marriage by the time he is 30..at the earliest. He should know what he wants by then, and be mature enough to make a good choice. The twenties are for school and having fun Tongue

For me it would depend on the type of father he is...If he's a fly by night, or a all talk no action father, then no. . Also, the baby's mama would be an important factor. If she's a crazy one that I can't say a word to, then NO!!

If he can show me responsibility, and maturity...then YES!!

I used to think that dating a single parent was nothing but a hassle. ha ha Now that I am one, I find that I am more responsible and careful who I date. So it can really be a blessing to date a single parent. If they have you around their child/children, you must be special Smiley

ha ha. The more names the better.  All the names I chose on my own, my husband didn't like.  He is liking a lot of the names I am mentioning now. lol.  Plus, I have a habit of saying the names to the baby to see what he reacts to. That way he really choses his name. I know, it's a funny thing to do.

Since Ola and Olu run in my husbands family, I would like to keep that tradition going. I still have a few weeks until the naming ceremony, but want to have a few names lined up. I think I would try to work it out, especially if kids are involved. Sometimes there is more hurt and trouble if you leave then if you stay. Forgiveness would be hard though. It would definitely take a lot of prayers and hard work. He would have to prove himself over, and over again before the trust could return.  In the end it might make the relationship stronger....
