| Nice talk... u've really proved a point here.. thanks First Post here, among many to come. I think the use of racism to describe Femi's victimization might be both fair and unfair. One thing is we are not sure what circumstances led to her sack, then we might want to debacle on why She got another instant appointment in Abuja, seem like there are great legs tho. Well, baring my mind, i dont believe there really exists anything like racism, simply because you cannot devalue somebody thats got more potentials than yourself. That means, you can only attack the physical but not the mind. Unless the attackee endears his or her mind on the physical and material, then the mind becomes vulnerable. the person in question is doing great now, someone Tell her to do something more for the immediate community she is in or I'll start the use of my canes...Talk to y'all soon

| | NIGERIAN GIRLS already in relationships still find it difficult to say "NO" to other guys seeking same relationship. It has been somewhat like a tradition for most Nigerian girls that saying "NO" to all other suitors when they're already in one relationship, is almost inevitable on their lips.
Reasons that makes this types maybe because, some of them want to taste different guys (Spoilt Gals), and some may do it cos they will be opening more offices "MUGUs", and some many other reasons best known to them...

| | Those who regularly tune to the America Based Satellite Television, Cable News Network, Known as (CNN), may have observed in recent times, that Nigeria's own weather & Global Report & Inside African presenter/reporter, FEMI OKE, has not been on air for quite a while.
It has now become public that FEMI OKE has been sacked by the Atlanta based station, CNN. Well, before you think that the delectable breezy weather reporter has been given a New Appointment in Abuja, Nigeria's capital city.
According to those who know, Femi Oke was fired in circumstances that have the fouled odour of RACISM as it was without any reason.
Issues also gathered, also laments that Femi Oke is sole VICTIM of RACISM going on in CNN, as blacks such as TUNMI MAKHABO and JEFF KOINANGE were equally fired without any reason.
Considering the fact that Richard Quest, a white man, who was embroiled in drugs related scandal that made headlines around the world, is still working for the Cable New outfit and those with cleaner records have been shown the exit door; there is only one word: RACISM, to explain the happenings in Atlanta, according to those who know!
Na Wa Oh... Amerika make Una Take Una Tym for 9gerians bodi oh... My pipo, No Place Lyk Home!
Thank God that she was given a very good job here in her own country, at least the Salary is very very comparable to what she earns in the USA working for CNN. | | | | |

The woman in question {OPRAH WINFREY} is a nobody even in the united state. Talking corruption and wrong deeds oprah winfrey who thinks she can fight what God himself had created. she go arrround america television station asking people to come for Bosom enlargement and all that rubbish. she must be a stupid woman saying such word about Nigeria. she is a disgrace to all black womanhood if must say. imagine oprah

| Nigeria Federal Government have Suspended CHANNELS TELEVISION, LAGOS, by ordering the Nigerian Broadcasting Commission (NBC) to immediately issue a withdrawing of the Broadcasting License of Channels TV. Channels TV had been shut on Tuesday night for airing the news that President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua might RESIGN after the impending cabinet reshuffle on health ground. It is no longer a rumour that President Musa Umar Yar'Adua has been ill over some time now. When he recently travelled to Saudi Arabia for treatment, various issues were raised concerning the president. As security agents kept sentry at the premises of Channels Television for the second day running yesterday, The NBC Director-General Yomi Bolarinwa said in a statement last night that the suspension of the station’s operations was in consonance with the provisions of the NBC code on broadcast stations. The report allegedly emanated from a “newsflash” sent via e-mail address from “News Agency Nigeria”, through newsagency [email protected]. And as the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and prominent lawyer, Chief Gani Fawehinmi (SAN), among others, rose to condemn the continued closure of Channels TV last night, the State Security Service (SSS) alleged that the nation’s first family and some top government functionaries were under attack by “some unnamed disgruntled persons”. ::: My people una see wetin dey happun for Naija? ::: Na God go Save Us Oooh! it comes as a surprise when you read such stories about nigeria. it pains me, they talk about other leaving theselve out. they see the pick of wood in ur eyes leaving the log of wood in thier eyes. am not suporting what 419iers are doing but, which country is clean to condem another. all still bounce back to our governmet, if the country is well planned and organised ,nigeria is richer than all this countries,we dont need to travel out to do odd jobs and involve in 419.i pray God will give us Good leaders who will have the love of we followers at heart. it well what we that are outside the country are facing, but people at home will always want to travel.well everybody is free to do what ever.

| | Recently, America’s TV girl, Oprah Winfrey, called on America to sever diplomatic relationships with world’s topmost corrupt countries.
Worst of all the countries, Oprah surmised, is Nigeria.
According to her, “all Nigerians – regardless of their level of education – are corrupt.”
It is very pathetic that Oprah could ascribe to a larger population, the evil act of an insignificant number of persons in the world’s most populous black nation.
Oprah’s conclusion is based on the fact that a Nigerian of Igbo extraction was caught with $500,000, which was alleged to have been stolen from a foreigner through the Internet fraud popularly known as 419.
Oprah had sponsored an hour-long programme, which ran for several days on the CNN, with the sole aim of exposing the clever tricks espoused by this group of Nigerians to con their victims.
Much has been said about the greed of the victims themselves, and I need not say more about it.
However, at a time when Americans are committing heinous crimes against children and women, nobody has tagged all Americans as murderous.
So, why call all Nigerians rogues because of the sin of a few bad eggs?
Oprah regularly tells her life story: how she was segxwally abused by close relations, how she ‘walked the streets’ (Americans’ euphemism for prostitution), etc., but nobody has ever deemed it fit to tag all American men as incestuous because of Oprah and others’ experiences.
She did drugs – just like the typical American teenager, but nobody has cast all American youths in the mould of drug abusers!
So, why should an individual that is supposed to know better sentence a nation to odium for the infraction of a tiny fraction of its population?
I urge Oprah and her likes to disabuse their minds about Nigerians.
Be wary of requests for money from strangers, and if you fall for a scam, blame your greed and not Nigerians. | | | | |
