D Banj has launched the much awaited Koko Mobile. We all had our fingers crossed as to what would be integrated in this Koko phone.
Some thought we could call D banj with it, maybe say hi to Don jazzy......But the phone which is currently priced at N9,800 has a limited features of a Memory card, Fm Radio, Mp3/Mp4, GPRS, some installed applications like facebook, ebuddy, Nimbuzz, Opera and even a First Bank mobile application.
You may wonder why "First Bank Mobile application"? The phone was sponsored by First Bank Nigeria. The Koko mobile was released in 3 colours – black, pink and silver having additional features like Latest D Banj and Mohits songs and videos, and a flashlight.
One would have expected a phone coming from the reputable Mohits camp to have an ability to "ping" or would that be asking too much. But what big can you really expect from a N9,800 phone? I cant believe Uncle Snoop has one of this phone.
The Super Falcons' Coach Eucharia Uche, has made a statement saying that there are lesbians in the country's female national team.
The statement which was made at the 'First Seminar on Women Football in Nigeria: Challenges and Prospects' says that: “It's a worrisome experience that some of our players indulge in Lesbianism. Some of them go as far as renting rooms in hotels around the team's campsite where they go to satisfy their sin assembly.
She continued by saying “A good number of them even bring their male friends into the camp. It's a serious development that has been detrimental to the team's growth and performance.”
Meanwhile, statements from Nigeria Football Federation (NFF)'s Chief Media Officer, Ademola Olajire, who few years ago had echoed the ravaging scourge of 'women sleeping with their fellow women as love birds', could have laid to rest the veracity of the existence of lesbians among Falcons.
“We all know of these vices because Lesbianism has become a thing of common knowledge that the female footballers no more hide it among themselves. However, those who indulge in the nasty act had promised to stop it and the NFF is putting measures in place to ensure that they keep to their promises,” the media officer stated.
Saturday the 5th day of March, recorded an ugly incident in which no fewer than 10 vehicles were razed down.
This was as a result of a massive fire that destroyed a portion of Las Vegas Park at Berger Motors, in Kirikiri area of Lagos State.
Eye witness at the event says the fire which started around 4pm, had a refuse dump as the source. Vehicles undergoing repairs at a close by mechanic workshop got the first hit from the fire.
Even though a good number of helpers made efforts to quench the fire, lots of motorists pulled out of the road for the fear of contacting the fire.

As we no get Superman, those involved in the fire rescue were, sympathizers, fire fighters from the Federal Fire Service, State Fire Service and the Nigeria Navy. Also involved were Policemen from the Kirikiri Police station. "wetin dem come do?" Arrest Fire?.
When the name Goodluck is mentioned, we picture the Nigeria's President, let alone adding Jonathan to it. But that the story is different for a UK based rock music band comprising of four guys.
I bet we all didnt see this one coming, but this four guys rock music band is called "Goodluck Jonathan". They however denied naming the band after the Nigerian President.
They claimed a friend gave them the name which they liked because it promotes oneness in the band (the name sounds like one person). "Who we go ask na?"
And they've been complaining about their twitter account (@GLJonathanband) attracting tweets from nigerians on the state of nigeria's economy and other problems. They must have been mistakened for the nigerian president.
The Super Eagles coach, Samson Siasia, has pleaded with Nigerians to stop blaming Yakubu Aiyegbeni for Nigeria's horrible outing at the 2010 world cup.
Aiyegbeni has hit four goals in six appearances for Leicester City, and is gradually looking back to his best goal scoring form, but Siasia says he will leave him out until the team stabilises.
According to Siasia "We cannot take a chance on Yakubu now. This country will catch fire," Siasia told KickOffNigeria.com. "Almost all Nigerians blame him for what happened at the World Cup, but that is not true. There were 11 players on the field and those on the bench and it is a collective responsibility."
"The best players in the world can miss chances."
"We didn't play well as team at the tournament, but Nigerians don't want to see Yakubu and Sani Kaita because they felt they destroyed everything for us."

Siasia is building his team from the ground up, and says the door remains open to Yakubu and Kaita, as long as they are performing well and playing regular club football.
"We are building a new team right now and we cannot afford to bring them in now and put them under pressure from the fans. We don't want that.
"When the team is stable, we have won games, and they are doing well and scoring goals for their clubs, we can invite them then."
An interview with Dbanj by MTV Base has been uploaded on youtube. This interview had Dbanj giving a "Behind The Scene" details about his recent collaboration with Snoop Dogg.
D Banj said that he had the opportunity of meeting Snoop Dogg through Chris Aire, who aided in the Endowed Remix collaboration.
As a Naija guy, D Banj knew his fellow Nigerians would be "doubting Thomas" over the collabo, so he decided to wait so as to make a video before releasing the song, even though it was recorded last year.
The video was shoot in Beverly Hills, United Stated this year. The video see D’banj and Don Jazzy in a green white green coloured fanthom and D’banj becomes ‘Snoopdog’s first African nephew’.
Can you imagine D Banj saying Don Jazzy could soon work with with Kanye West, Jay Z, Beyonce? Hmmmmm, We doubted him before, he proved us all wrong, are we to doubt again?

My guess is another collaboration with mohits, but what ever it is, Don Jazzy and Dbanj did not hesitate to reply sharp-sharp.
