Getting seen on the screen has driven so many crazy. Several entertainment acts, musician, artistes, TV presenters and anchors, especially the males feel incomplete before the camera without having on ear studs, rings, necklaces and their other so-called fashionable accessories.
Every Tom, Dick and Harry is wearing it, even ‘the monkeys’ are wearing it too.

I had not watched ‘Quiz line’, the entertaining quiz programme on the network service of the NTA for a long while now. Not until last week, 28th September when I stumbled unto it.
I was utterly disgusted by the appearance of its regular anchor. I don’t remember his name. I mean the black, chunky, dreadlocked guy that speaks an accent that doesn’t belong to him. The only guy on the show that is fond of wearing sweatshirts.
He now wears the complete accessories of a woman.
He now has a complete feminine appearance.
He now looks like a complete homotype.
And of course, I do not mistake him for a complete ponce.

This world is spoilt! Don’t get spoilt. Don’t let it spoil you.

Has this world changed or is it changing? What is this world changing into or where is this world heading to?
Many questions baffle my distressed mind. I am worried about this. I don’t know about you.
Asa herself confirms this in the second track of her album. Have you listened to ‘360’?

I am afraid to ask if this world is changing for good or evil. I am afraid to know if it is changing for better or for worse.

These changes have occurred in so many forms and still occurring.
Just last week, I learnt about the most recent change. I mean ‘First Inland Bank change to Finbank’. I was so disturbed. I thought, ‘what is the meaning of this name?’, ‘what is the significance of this change?’ And so, I began to make my investigations.
From my investigations,
1.   the intentional purpose: to abbreviate or acronymize the name ‘First Inland’.
2.   the unintentional purpose: to tell me of The End, I don’t know about you.
Fin is a derivation of the English word ‘finish’ meaning ‘the finish’ or ‘The End’.
Finish in French is ‘le fin’
Finish in my pidgin Spanish is ‘la finito’
Finish in Yoruba is ‘ikpari’ (this shows my singular love for the Yoruba culture of Nigeria)

Other notable changes so far are,
1.   intercontinental bank, now wearing a new face.
2.   zain, the most questionably alarming, demonic and apocalyptic change ever witnessed so far.
Just in case I have missed any other significant change, you may let me know.

I was so surprised to see ‘indigo’ play against ‘yellow’ in zain’s initial commercial. It was the commercial tagged ‘make it happen’ where the lad who was good at street football was picked up and further trained to become the goal scoring player when his team played against ‘the yellows’ in the final match.
I wondered why the opposing team had to be yellow, MTN. Why not green, etisalat or glo? Why yellow?

Perhaps, yellow poses a giant to zain. But I must confess that zain is foolish because,
How would a dwarf as zain think of fighting a GIANT as MTN?
Why would a kid as zain think of fighting an ADULT as MTN?
Doesn’t zain know that he is down and MTN is UP?
Doesn’t zain know that he is in hell and MTN is in HEAVEN?
Doesn’t zain know that he is the devil and MTN is GOD?

Well, I don’t mean to discriminate against zain. I am not trying to disillusion zain’s mission. I am just telling you the truth because I know that the truth will set me free, as free as a bird. It is good to be free or is it bad? Well, if it is a bad thing, don’t say the truth. Don’t say it. Remain in the bondage and misery of the guilt and languish of keeping silent or worse still, telling a lie.

Don’t give up zain. Keep fighting a bad fight. The kind of fight between an ant and an anteater or between a snake and a mongoose or between water and fire.
And please, don’t fight at the park again, fight in the real world because this fight is for real.

Only time will tell us who will be vanquished and VICTOR.
