Do we really understand the magnitude of what it is to be a Child of God?  To understand what it is to be a child of someone you will have to know that person.  Who is God?  God is an eternal being.  He is the creator of all things.  He was in the beginning and actual was before the beginning.  He began the beginning.  He is the end of this age and will be after the age has ended.  He is all powerful!  He created the universe by the Word (Jesus is the human form of the Word).  He is upholding the universe by his understanding. He can't lie because whatever he says it will manifest.  He is omniscient!  He is all seeing!  He is eternity.  In the spirit realm, kronos (time) doesn't exist.  He sees everything at the same time.  So what we call the future he calls it now - that is what it means when we say “he sees the end from the beginning.”

Now since we have a little information of who God is, however, he is more than that but it can't all be contained on paper, now let us get a better understanding of the child.  In the physical the father determines most of the make-up of that child.  In Hebrew culture, it is believed that the father is the seed bearer.  In Genesis, it says that the seed of Levi was in Abraham's loins.  The father determines the sex and many physical traits of the seed.  Now, if we are children of God and born again by his Spirit, we have encoded in us the traits of the Father.  We carry the same creative ability within us by his Spirit.  Jesus says if my word abide in you, my Father and I will take abode in you.  All this is done after being born again not just by water but by God's spirit.

Put that together - CHILD OF GOD.  The respect that God receives you receive (talking more in the spirit realm and creation), all things are possible, strength, power, victory, and overcoming ability is all yours because you are a child of God.  Now do we exercise our rights? No, not really.  Many children of God are crying for things that already belong to them.  The Word says the earth is the Lord and the fullness thereof.... the silver and gold all belongs to him...the cattle on a thousand hills....  This scripture is talking about prosperity. If you ever read the parable of the prodigal son.  The good son gets upset but the father says rejoice.  He was upset because he didn't understand that what belongs to his Father belongs to him.  It is like a president's daughter.  If she ever walks into your house, will you treat her like a nobody? No, you will show her the utmost respect.  You may take out your finest silverware and china.  God desire is that we grab onto the truth that we are his children and the same respect you would give a president's daughter he has reserved this same respect for you in this world and world to come.  In the beginning, he said have dominion over the fish of the sea, the fowl of the air, and the beast of the field.  As children of God, this dominion has been restored through Jesus Christ.  When we begin to get a greater understanding of the magnitude of who we really are this scripture will truly begin to manifest in our lives.
