My guy, I will appeal to you to eschew this tribal and religious bigotry and confused history you appear to propagate on Naijapals. You need to travel the world to see that hardly can you find a country where everybody belongs to one tribe or religion. I will take apart your disjointed rejoinder to my comments by starting with India, a former colony of Britain:

The Constitution of India recognises 212 scheduled tribal groups.  Hinduism, with over 800 million adherents, is the largest religion in India; they are followed by Muslims , Christians , Sikhs , Buddhists , Jains , Jews, Zoroastrians, and Bahá'ís. India has the world's third-largest Muslim population in the world.
 
About 43% of Indians speak Hindi while the rest speak Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Punjabi and other languages. Almost 45% of the Muslims speak Urdu while the rest speak Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kashmiri, Malayalam, Tamil, Telugu and other languages. About one-third of the Christians speak Malayalam, one-sixth speak Tamil while the rest speak a variety of languages. In total, there are 1,652 languages and dialects spoken in India.

There is a number of ethnic strife in India where some have taken up arms against the state demanding more autonomy and others, like in Kashmir, are demanding total independence. There are over 600 million Indians who live in abject poverty of less than $2 a day. This is equivalent to 4 times Nigerian population! Your claim that these differing ethnicity is of the same background is totally false.

Russia has 160 ethnic groups who speak some 100 languages. Russia has oil. There are over 20 million Muslims in Russia. Other religions include orthodox Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism. Chechnya fought a brutal war of secession and was equally brutally crushed. Terrorism is on-going in Russia as well as in USA, both of whom have oil.
  
China officially recognizes 56 distinct ethnic groups. These ethnic groups  speak a variety of  languages including  Mandarin, Wu,  Shanghainese, Yue,  Cantonese , Taishanese,  Min ,  Hokkien and Teochew, Xiang, Gan, and Hakka. Other  languages spoken widely by other  ethnic minorities include Zhuang, Mongolian, Tibetan, Uyghur, Hmong and Korean.  Standard Mandarin, a variety of Mandarin based on the Beijing dialect, is the official national language of China and is used as a lingua franca between people of different linguistic backgrounds.
There is several conflicts hanging around China’s neck, not least Tibet , Taiwan and internal ethnic terrorism as reported widely in recent years. Yet nobody is calling for division of China!

Turkey is locked in a tug of war with Kurdistan.  Iran and Iraq are in similar situation with diversed ethnicity and oil. Nobody is calling for their division.

Pakistan has over 60 ethnic groups speaking languages ranging from Punjabi, Saraiki, Pashto, Sindh to Balochi. In the Northwest, there is armed conflict going on. Bombs go off like popcorn daily, and yet you claim Nigeria has more problem? You must be kidding!

Mexico is ethnically diversed; the various indigenous peoples and European immigrants are united under a single national identity.

In Pre-Columbian Mesoamerica many cultures matured into advanced civilizations such as the Olmec, the Toltec, the Teotihuacan, the Zapotec, the Maya and the Aztec before the first contact with Europeans.

In 1521, Spain conquered and colonized the territory from its base in México-Tenochtitlan, which was administered as the Viceroyalty of New Spain. This territory would eventually become Mexico as the colony's independence was recognized in 1821.

The post-independence period was characterized by economic instability, the Mexican-American War and territorial cession to the United States, a civil war, two empires and a domestic dictatorship. The latter led to the Mexican Revolution in 1910, which culminated with the promulgation of the 1917 Constitution and the emergence of the country's current political system.

Mexico is home to a large number of indigenous languages. The indigenous languages with most speakers are Nahuatl, Yukatek,  Maya  Mixtec, and Zapotec languages. In total there are over 68 ethnic groups speaking 364 different specific varieties of indigenous languages.
 
In conclusion, it is only on Naijapals that one keeps hearing this confused noise of tribal and religious bigots to divide Nigeria at a drop of a hat as if she is some cake or because we don’t speak one language or have the same religion or that armed conflict is going on.
If you want a country of your own where everyone speaks your language or your religion,  you can crown yourself chief apartheid joker of the century.Your argument that Nigeria should divide because 3 disparate ethnic groups or tribes were brought together by Britain is childish and or elementary when 160 ethnic groups form Russian Federation and over 1652 form India.

Prophet of doom - The call for division is pure tribalism because there are countries with countless or similar problems but which are putting their heads together to solve it - examples are India, Pakistan, China, Russia, Mexico, Iran, Turkey etc, yet they are not calling for division.

There is no proper vetting process to ban criminals from holding public office. Just look at how this rogue has plundered his own people's resources for development.

I did not address you nor do I need any ill-conceived advice from you. I am speaking as a concerned Nigerian regardless of tribe or religion.

I can't imagine why any human should rejoice in any death be it that of muslim or christian? These are fellow Nigerians and the fact that the police station and the prison are in Gombe does not mean that all the police men there or the wardens are muslim. Anybody in Nigeria can be posted to work anywhere and prisoners can come from any where in Nigeria. People should show maturity with their comments!
