t isn't a bad thing. It's bad when the man abuses that trust and treats his wife like a doormat. But submission in and of itself is not wrong. Nor does submitting indicate that a woman is mindless or timid or a doormat. And it also doesn't mean that her man is a controlling lout.

I try to be a submissive wife to my husband, as per the teachings in the Bible (we are Christians). But I picked a good man, and we agree on just about everything so there is not that much need for submission in our day to day life. We make a pretty good team and we do things together. And when we disagree he *always* talks to me and hears me out before we make a decision.
