Forum / The Buzz Central / Re: "We Are Our Own Enemy"- Actress, Georgina Onuoha Kicked Against The Second Term Bid Of Buhari |
on: 22-01-2019 02:34 PM
| No! We are in a serious mess. Take away sentiments, take away the issue of tribe, religion or even political leaning and let us tell ourselves the bitter truth that President Buhari is medically not fit to go for a second tenure in office. This election is the opportunity the North has to field another Northerner who can continue from where President Buhari stopped. If not, the South West may get another shot at the Presidency on a platter of gold. I love my President no doubt but I can not vote for him in his present state of health. I will be doing him a serious disservice, not only to him but to his family. He has seen it all both in the military and in politics, what else is he looking for that is more important that his alive to enjoy his statesmanship? I am saddened. | | |

| You are a coward. You claimed to have stopped at a Police Check Point. Why did you not get hold of the "Road Safety Officer" and involve the Police? Why will you allow him to walk away when he could not produce his ID card, instead, you were there making loud mouth. There is no law that says a law enforcement officer must arrest you with their official vehicle or motor cycle, rather, the arresting officer must properly identify himself and inform you of your offense, before taking you to their nearest office for proper booking. Alternatively, you should have gone to any nearby Road Safety Office to lodge formal complain on the issue of identification of the officer, to avoid you living with the fear that some kidnappers are after you. | | |

Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / Re: Boko Haram More Sophisticated, Now Using Drones & Foreign Fighters - Nigerian Army Laments |

| Set Sambisa forest on fire. Why do you want the jihadists alive. Use the right aircraft and spread combustible items all over the forest and set it on fire and wait for the fighters to be running out for their dear life. Make them feel the paid they are inflicting on others. I don't believe that the Nigerian Army have ran out of ideas on how to rout the insurgents. It is that we are dealing with a lot of selfish saboteurs. May the souls of our gallant soldiers rest in perfect peace. | | |

| If you have not finished interrogating him as to know their motive, why did you conclude that it is a case of burglary or are you insinuating that a man who went to another man's house by that unholy hour of the night does not have the capacity to incapacitate or waste his victim? Where were the Nigerian Police when the security breach in the House of a Deputy Senate President occurred? The Security agencies should be held responsible for this one breach too many. | | |

Forum / Politics / Re: EFCC Release Pictures Of Fayose's Mansions, Obtain Court Order To Detain Him For 2 Weeks |
on: 18-10-2018 10:10 AM
| Why have you (EFCC) not quizzed the former Governor of Edo State, Comrade Adams Oshiemohle over the real mansions he owns all over the Country and outside the Country, as well as other former Governors, some of whom have decamped to APC to evade prosecution? We have not been making progress in our quest to rout corruption because we are selective in our fight against corruption. If really we want to fight corruption, almost all the past Presidents of this Country, former Governors, Members of the Senate, House of Representatives, and several Heads of Government Agencies will be in jail. But who will do that? because you must go to equity with clean hands. Among all the officials prosecuting corrupt Nigerians, there is not even one person that is free from corruption. Most of them are even using their exalted offices to promote corruption. Our President may be Mr. Integrity but he is not the one in charge of these agencies and until he begins to pick the right people, irrespective of their geopolitical zones, to fill these sensitive positions, corruption and corrupt people will continue to multiply by the day. May God help us. | | |

Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / Re: Nigerian Army Opens Up On Missing General, Idris Alkali (Details) |
on: 26-09-2018 07:34 PM
| In this particular case, I really commend the Nigerian Army in their resolve to find out what happened to their own. I will advise that Dr. Idris or any other person who is asserting that the NA have a hand in the disappearance of Major General Alkali should be invited by the NA for further discussion so that he can disclose any information that may be within his knowledge to the authorities. That source that informed the authorities that he may have been killed and the dumped into a mining pit should be thoroughly investigated. The NA should also learn a lesson from this incident because in the course of carrying out their duties, they may step on so many toes, some of whom may be waiting for them to retire before they will revenge. They should therefore be given all the cover they need as if they were still in service. May God help us locate him. | | | |
