The Police Command in Lagos State has arrested a 38-year old man for allegedly being in possession of a fresh human head.
The Public Relations Officer of the command, DSP Ngozi Braide, made the disclosure in an interview with us on Wednesday in Lagos.
She said that the man, name withheld, was arrested on Tuesday at Orile, Lagos by anti-robbery policemen, attached to the Orile Police Station.
“The police team that arrested the suspect was led by Inspector Bernard Oyinlade, while they were conducting a ‘stop and search’ operation near the white sand area of Orile.
“The team stopped the man who was walking along the road with a polythene bag having suspected him and immediately called for a search.
“He immediately took to his heels and was pursued.
“He was arrested and during the searching of his bag, a suspected fresh human skull was found.
“The suspect is undergoing interrogation.
“He will be transferred to the State Criminal Investigations Department, Panti, Yaba for further investigations,” Braide said.

With the public display of some of the vehicles at the 2nd Nnewi International Auto Trade Fair held at the Beverly Hills Hotels (Gabros Sports Complex) in the last quarter of 2009, IVM did not only silence the critics, but made a bold statement about its readiness to achieve the avowed mission of being the first (indigenous) auto maker to produce truly Nigerian vehicles that are affordable and reliable.

IVM is today a success story which has attracted effusive commendations and awards from various quarters, including the nation's seat of power. While opening the plant on October 15, 2010, President Goodluck Jonathan not only hailed Chukwuma for the courage of venturing into an industry many ran away from, but also assured him of government's patronage from the government.
