Given the knife-edge on which the Allied forces in Afghanistan are walking, the last thing they'd want is to create an issue that would be exploited by the mullahs, so there's no way that they'd deliberately burn a load of Korans.

I don't know where you got that idea came from. The Mohammed cartoons weren't accidents; that preacher in the US did that burning on purpose.

Yes cammy am actually aware of that.I really didn't want to say people do it all the time on purpose that is why i used the term most...

furthermore cammy, remember the egregious behaviour displayed by the U.S forces that peed on some afghan dead bodies months back?,isn't it a deliberate act? or is just one of another hoax or media hype?i actually thought there is no way they would have done that on purpose since they claim to be civilised!!

@Treasure2 - You really hit the nail on the head with almost all your entire comments.

My own methodical inputs from my own experience is,feminists are the ones who think men and women are equal or perhaps, its their legal right to further seek for more dominant and superior roles/position than their male counterparts.but of course, its many thanks to the western democracy.majority of the credit goes to them!!.This  thirst and quest in search for equality and superiority has eroded the moral and socio-cultural values of women across the globe.A negative toll of vices have befallen nations of the western hemisphere with such kind of erroneous mentality and its now spreading to other part of the world.it's so much for the "purpose of western ideology"..they now perceive the male gender as a threat to them and they call the bible a story book that favours men.really??that speaks so much of how far this "misandrist" corrupted_infested perception have eaten so deep on them.
That being said, the word "superior" as used in contest of men being superior over women and vice versa,is a denotation that men are generally stronger than women in terms of behavioural patterns, performance skills, emotional handling of fragile situation, provision of security etc.this is not to say some females can't do more better than their male folks.but by way of statistics, the males have the lion's share.
In a nutshell,That word superior is to further subject man as a representative and a fore-runner to be ahead in task handling and assumption of most responsibilities for both gender and not necessarily to be perceived as a God or better than women or any other thing of the sort.the harbouring of such notion,is a bad development for our cogitation faculty and a terrible insult to our creator.the only one that should be superior, better, supreme and to be revered as some peeps are perceiving it is "God himself".Not man and certainly not a woman.
24  Forum / Religion / Re: Why is burning a Koran creating such furore? on: 9-03-2012 08:59 AM
people very well know that the muslims do not tolerate any irregularities towards their religion and holy book.so why should someone or group of people over-step their boundaries to provoke them.??

since we all know what a lion/lioness are capable of,why go to their PRIDE?? want to get eaten or want to eat them??or want to play with them??
BTW- Does the every occurent burning of some koran pages or toiling with their religion always be termed MISTAKE or ACCIDENTAL??appears more of like a deliberate and hostile intents most of the time if not all the time.

Having the utmost respect for each others religion will very well be okay for humanity sake to some considerable level at least.
Don't quite see how and why some people tend to chip in some of their religious doctrine  and make it a challenge against that of the muslim religion and further label theirs as better or perhaps superior.

There are well past over 1.8billion adherent muslims across the globe and i doubt if anyone or group can get rid of them. The shocking thing is,their numbers keep rising daily!!.

A lingering question for our mindset though,If certain pages of the koran hadn't been burnt, would it have sparked a rage of fury for them???just wondering anyway....
25  Forum / Relationships & Romance / Re: have u noticed that ladies no longer play hard to get. on: 2-03-2012 07:01 PM
Element of truth from what the poster said and i didn't see where he labelled all ladies with such affiliation.BUT,
most men don’t enjoy chasing women and no man should!!.Guys that want a serious relationship don’t enjoy chasing women. Straight forwardness is not a bad thing and is something very lacking in meeting people, most people don’t want games and some hyper-sensitive beings are encouraging it. Women that make themselves a challenge is not to be reckoned with, i appreciate a woman when they are straightforward with me. What should be important is two compatible people meeting each other and being in a loving relationship and liking each others own individual personalities not how you got someone or playing games, i think there is enough games in society as it is today, the precipitation of so many single mothers and unwanted kids today, gives us some evidential answers. The only men from my experience that enjoy a challenge or the chase are either PLAYERS, men who need to be in control because they are insecure with themselves to begin with or straight-out jerks, these kind of guys are everywhere. I think both men and women should be STRAIGHTFORWARD and let someone know if you're interested, dating doesn’t have to be so hard. Too many ladies fail to accept the premise that, once they clock the period of dating, they are choosing the responsibilities and accountability of adulthood. Unfortunately, these coddled, entitled women want the double standard of one foot in the real world hence they decided to resort to being difficult, is it expensive again?? so as to be over-protective of not getting hurt and emotionally traumatised.yeah, yeah i get it..BUT,there is no legal/natural guarantee that your relationship will last like the sands of time if you decide to fall cheap or expensive..i really can't fathom along such erroneous ideological concept..The ladies who think, acquiring of college degrees, big salaries, home ownership and one in the garden of special privileges, come talk to me first, ask for my number, initiate the call, ask me out, make the plan, take care of the arrangements, pick me up, take me there, pay for the date, presumed wining & dining, etc.will make you expensive and not cheap, should do a Volte-face swiftly.being uptight, difficult and cagey, only makes you more vulnerable for the playboys....Take it or leave it,your choice!

@rhashida15,

You can have it your way..Afterall,humans are ubiquitously fixed in their own ways.i was only trying to help quell the fury but you were busy giving me smart Alec remarks.that's just great!!,am very good at rebuttals too but i don't think i have the mental energy to condescend so low to such aisle.am not going to comment any further.

BTW-whoever said anything about all Nigerians been smart??so what's with the idea of Americans been smart too or even smarter??.
FYI-Nations of the western hemisphere are the one's claiming to be even smarter so get your fact right before pasting comment that may very well be unbecoming of what is called adult...

the world is not on verge of war right? wait till Israel attack Iran and see what happens next with all the nuclear weapons you destructive people have in your arsenal let see what remain of the world

My friend, talking about war between Israel and Iran, that probable scenario is very likely and the whole world is fully aware of the dire consequences so Israel and her allies should trade carefully.Israel and U.s.a have continue to ferment lies and deceit about Iran's peaceful civilian nuclear program which is aimed at developing isotopes for the cure of malignant tumor and cancer as well as electricity generation.but of course, these nations seem not to buy such theory about Iran.it's just too difficult for their over-civilised brain(s) to comprehend and it's their thirst and quest on a crusade to take down on all the muslim nations especially,The SHIA MUSLIM population..i wonder if Arabs or Muslims or Islamic followers are the problem of the world...??

Now,we are fully aware that Pakistan has voiced out concern that they are going to defend the Islamic republic of Iran at all cost and even the mainland(china),has also expressed readiness to defend Iran even if it means WWIII...

Usa,Israel and their allies know that Iran does not want to develop nuclear weapons cause as a signatory to NPT and a member of IAEA,Iran is most obliged to enjoy the usage of nuclear technology only for peaceful purposes.besides, all the nuclear installation of Tehran is under the supervision of IAEA till date..

However, the main reason Usa and their allies want Iran to abandon their nuclear technology is the fact that nuclear stockpile which is obtained from high speed enrichment of uranium is stored in reserve which of course in the advent of war,can be driven to further enrichment quickly to proliferate an atomic weapon.they don't want Iran to obtain this..they also don't want Iran to get hold of depleted uranium metals which is also easily obtainable from nuclear enrichment(Uranium 238 provides all the answers).this depleted uranium metal can be used to manufacture Anti-tank missiles,ASBM(Anti-ship ballistic missile)suitable to destroy an aircraft carrier, warship and also used to manufacture Anti-submarine torpedoes etc.there's more to the idea of not wanting Iran to have a nuclear technology Programme even though NAM(Non-Aligned movement)that comprises of 120 nations have even shown support for the Islamic republic's right to peaceful usage of nuclear Technology....

Another cooked up lies, cock and bull story similar to that of Iraq's erroneous accusation,is already in the making considering the fact that p1 and p2 centrifuge were never found in Iraq let alone an atomic bomb... according to Ron Paul,a U.s republican presidential hopeful once said and i quote : USA should mind her own business!!!
Let's all brace up,sit back and watch how it's going to play out so to speak!!

@ williams100 They came at me first with the insults like I've always been told "don't dish out nothing you cant take in return" if you dish it be willing to receive whatever the other person throws your way I didnt come here to talk bad but to share my own personal experience but since we have very stupid ignorant people on here that want to talk rubbish then I can swing that way too I appreciate your comment however I dont appreciate you singling "my name" as if I was the one who started it

Alright rhashida15 but,you weren't the one who started it but your comment was what triggered the fury.if you must know, majority if not all Nigerians are very homogeneous in nature as well as nationals of every other nations or so i've heard. Therefore, try to be picky of your vocabulary next time....

As for the singling out of your name,it wasn't an expression to denote that you were the one who started it,that was a misconception on your part or perhaps another interpretation..it was to make you aware to listen up that you happen to be the only one they are up against and not really to accuse you of throwing the first stone.i don't blame you but your comment.let's preview that shall we...??

I had heard a lot of bad things about Nigerian men but figured all couldn't be like that until I tried to date them and realized what I heard about them were true.  So far I have not met one honest Nigerian man who wasn't trying to scam me.
The highlighted statement in blue is a clear indication that all Nigerian men are not one.
But,take a very good look at the one in red,it's a clever way to succinctly label that all Nigerian men are one!.
Also, try to pay attention to the one in black.its rigidly uncalled for,do you know why? I'll tell you. This was an indirect way to convey message to women interested in Nigerian men to harbour negative perception about them and to start been over-suspicious of them even though the men have genuine and real intention for them.have you spot the essence now?? let me know when it sinks in....

First off, is my own fcukin opinion and I can share what I want. Secondly speak english. Thirdly, I am in U.S. not Africa nor do I care to ever go there.  I can date whoever the fcuk I want I am just speaking from my personal experience. I knew some idiots would respond so ignorantly.  Go back and read my fcukin post, I said "I can't speak for all Nigerian men" right there I'm not putting the blame on all Nigerian men so what the fcuk are ya'll getting offended for. Dumb asses.

From your second quote, you are very right to have your opinion it's a free world after all the west's export is democracy.but then again, check out the highlighted statement in blue.its visibly contradictory in between to your first comment and you as an American of all people should know better about choice of words we use.

Hey!! Am a Nigerian too but did i utter any dehumanising verbal utterances towards you? i doubt it.Just try to relax okay and i will continue to talk to my fellow Nigerians to let go of the fury....

I implore you to employ some restrain over this issue and try to quell your temperament by letting every comment of profanity fall into "black hole" and remain there...
I also urge other parties involved to uphold the same effusive courtesy in return.
IF,someone tip off on the wrong foot with the wrong word(s) or statement,it's best you correct that person bereft of foul languages.for crying out hell where exactly is our moral virtues and tactful civility??
Lay constructive inputs base on thorough cogitation and consideration which would not be perceived as offensive.

Quiet a tough post and i want to further say that the west's foreign policy should be scrapped and they should have respect for other nation's sovereignty and if interference Neccessitates,it should be on mutual respect devoid of Neo-colonialism,Hegemony or should i say Zero-sum game...

Meddling in the domestic affairs of other nations is by far against international laws and standard.i wonder if i have to lament on that to some ignoramus??

i really can't fathom along with the west why they resorted to the usage of DU(depleted uranium)during the golf war,Vietnam,Afghanistan,Libya and elsewhere.it's rather strange that most people don't even know that this DU,is a killer weapon that has a half life of about 4.5billion years which of course is far more dangerous than an atomic weapon which have at least 60yrs of half life disintegration at most...

Furthermore, the "double standard" of the west's policy should be abolished......................

IF,they need one world with unified peace, then they better learn to start seeing every human being on the planet as one and not seeing some people as second and third world(i wonder who the hell came up with such annoying phrase in the first place.?)...............

I will however, continue to employ lucidity towards any and every issue.pundits are therefore humbly adviced to extend the same courtesy in return.cause if i perceive any rebuttals and smart Alec remarks, then i will deliver a serrated and crushing response swiftly ASAP.....
