1  Forum / The Buzz Central / Re: Comedian Akproro Prays For Death For Bobrisky And All Other Gay People (Video) on: 16-11-2017 07:15 PM
Let us not pray for anyone's death. We are all objects of God's grace and desperately in need of His forgiveness as all of us have sinned and fallen short of God's glory. God does not delight in the death of any sinner but seeks all will come to repentance through His Son, Jesus Christ. Let us pray that everyone will see the light of the Gospel of Christ and come to salvation through Him.

A GREAT EXAMPLE for Christian leaders to follow. He has had numerous opportunities to amass wealth but has chosen rather to use all wealth bequeathed to him for the poor. This was the same way our Lord Jesus Christ lived. Although He owned the world and everything in it, He chose to live for others. I pray that our present leaders will follow these examples rather than flaunt their wealth before the same very poor people who support their ministries.

Tegonwa, I couldn't agree with you more! Our so-called leaders are the problem of Nigeria, not the separation of the country into smaller units, which in itself can only lead to anarchy and loss of lives of innocent and hard-working Nigerians. The looters are of the economy are the people Nigerians should hold accountable, so that the entire nation can be sanitized. Just so sad that many of our leaders have deadened their conscience!
4  Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / Re: Today Is A Public Holiday In Jigawa, Set Aside To Pray For President Buhari on: 7-07-2017 05:23 PM
President Buhari did not create the economic mess that Nigeria is in. The mess was created by the reckless looting of the nation's treasury by successive governments with heartless rulers who were only concerned with their self-interests rather than the interests of average Nigerians. Buhari is the only Nigerian president who has shown the will-power to directly confront this menace in the country. As a nation, we have been living under a false sense of prosperity founded upon a very weak foundation and spending what we truly did not have in our treasury. Whether it is sooner or later, nemesis will catch up with us as a people. Buhari has only succeeded in moving the nation to confront reality. We have been eating our cake for years and expect to still have it but life simply does not work that way. We are only reaping what we have been sowing for years. Rather than holding our leaders accountable for their actions, we praise them when they defraud us. We will be better off embracing that reality now to level set our expectations and begin to change our ways from the top (government officials) to the common man on the street. All religions encourage their adherents to pray for their leaders and that is exactly what Nigeria needs to do for Buhari now whether you like him as a person or not.
5  Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / Re: Quit Notice: Niger/Delta Militants Demand Return Of Oil Blocs Owned By Northerners Within 3 Mont on: 10-06-2017 04:46 PM
It is extremely important that all sides exercise great caution. Clearly, it was wrong for the Arewa Youths to have made such inflammatory statements regarding an unenforceable mandate for the Ibos to relinquish their business interests in the north and return to their homeland. It is understandable that the good people of Niger Delta have responded in kind. Yet, it is important that all sides understand that Nigeria is the only country we have and all sides should come together to solve our problems together. Countries that have embarked upon the kind of breakup that is currently being called for by different factions have not thrived well. I remember countries such as Sudan, Ethiopia, etc. In the end, many innocent lives will be lost, the split nations will fight perpetually and all sides will be losers. The only winners will be the already rich and powerful but the greatest losers will be the same average Nigerians who simply want to live a simple life and have enough to care for themselves and their families. PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE, l call on all Nigerians to resist the current calls by anyone for a breakup. Rather, let us make calls for unity and for charting our own destiny. I'm trusting God that the voice of reason will ultimately prevail. Thank you!
6  Forum / The Buzz Central / Re: Marriage Is Not For This Generation - 9ice Talks About The Problem With Modern Marriages on: 18-05-2017 04:56 AM
Marriage is indeed for this generation. The problem is that this generation has lost sight of the one who invented marriage, the almighty God Himself, and have chosen not to respect the boundaries that He set. Rather, this generation has defined marriage by their own rules. Whenever people make a conscious choice not to follow "The Owner's Manual" for anything, it is a direct invitation for trouble. If this generation will repent and acknowledge God in their marriage, from choosing a marriage partner to living with one's spouse, they can enjoy the full blessings of marriage. God Himself says that marriage is a good thing: "He who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favour from the Lord."
7  Forum / Politics / Re: BREAKING NEWS! Buhari Travels Back To London Tonight, Osinbajo Is New Acting-President on: 8-05-2017 12:55 AM
It is unfortunate that some have taken to wishing the President evil. For Christians, we are specifically commanded to pray for our leaders because EVERY leader has been placed in authority by God, even the leaders that we judge to be evil. Every leader is ultimately accountable for their actions before the almighty God who put them in power and to whom they are ultimately accountable. None of us has the ability to judge any leader's action. Anyone can be sick and to wish anyone an evil outcome for their sickness in simply ungodly. Let us do unto others what we would want them to do unto us. President Buhari is not the enemy of Nigeria. All of the Nigerians (leaders or not)  who have looted and are still looting the country's resources for their selfish gain are the true enemies of the country - these are the people we should join together to condemn their actions, rather than the President who at least has the moral courage to confront this menace in the country called corruption.
8  Forum / Politics / Re: BREAKING! Davido's Uncle And A Current APC Senator, Isiaka Adeleke Is Dead on: 24-04-2017 02:11 AM
Let us all please desist from making derogatory comments about someone who has died. Death is the penalty for sin and none of us is immune to it. We will all ultimately answer that call some day and it is because all of us are sinners - there is not a single person among us who is not a sinner, hence our need for a savior. We are not in a position to judge anyone's actions as that responsibility belongs to God Himself, who alone is righteous, holy and just. It is better to remain silent whenever we have nothing good to say about the dead.
9  Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / Re: Igbo Group Says They Will Attack Nigeria if Nnamdi Kanu is Not Released Within One Month on: 5-01-2017 11:06 PM
Only people who have never experienced firsthand the devastating effect of war would call for an all-out war. Declaring war against the Federal Government of Nigeria can only take the nation backward and clearly will not have a good ending. Innocent lives will be lost while the leaders on both sides will continue to live. Please let us advocate for a peaceful dialogue to resolve our differences rather than fanning the embers of division and anarchy. Nigeria is the only country we can all call our own and we need to do everything possible to preserve her unity. "United, we stand; divided, we fall!" A word is enough for the wise.
10  Forum / The Buzz Central / Re: Actress Chioma Chijioke Says Every Man Cheats But If He Really Loves You’ll Never Find Out on: 4-01-2017 07:11 PM
Well, Chioma's definition of "Real Love" is not accurate. "Real Love" for your spouse includes a commitment to chastity and not cheating on your spouse, whether it is known or not known. The nature of cheating means you are defrauding someone else of what belongs to him or her, so it is wrong and can never be justified. Although every married person will likely face the temptation to cheat on their spouse, it is the responsibility of every individual to avoid situations that can potentially aggravate the desire to cheat or to resist the temptation by literally running away from such temptation. Beyond the brief moment of bliss, cheating hardly ever has a happy ending. The be forewarned is to be forearmed! In the words of Dr. Kison, "BE CAREFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
