| | Apart from the North, the rest of Nigerians are wasting their time on election. Consensus, primaries, general elections regardless, the Hausas / Northerners are not going to relinquish power to a none Northern anymore. Obasanjo became president on conspiracy bases just to blind and appease the Yorubas as relates June 12 annulment. Goodluck Jonathan was the worst mistake they made from 2010 to 2015. They have vowed never to repeat such mistake anymore. They have consistently made it clear that power is their inheritance, and stays only in the North, otherwise they will disintegrate the country. The current insecurity in Nigeria is visible enough for Nigerians to see what the Northerners are really capable of. | | | | |

General Buhari then a GOC defied Shagari's order, and led a group of Nigerian soldiers to chase out Chadian terrorists from the Northern part of Nigeria successfully. When Shehu Shagari discovered that the terrorists have been defeated he ordered for the redeployment and court martial of General Buhari. This incident and massive corruption basically led to the overthrow of Shehu Shagari's regime in 1983. Once a soldier, always a soldier. | | It's fraud, it's corruption and greed. You guys are ungodly, inhumane and selfish. You are just looking for ways to make money under the horrible circumstances. The Indian government sent 2 commercial airlines to evacuate its citizens from Ukraine two days ago. Brazil, Canada, Austria, Finland, France, Turkey followed suit. The Nigerian government has set a standard practice where nothing works in Nigeria without the sure implementation of corruption at any cost. Other countries are busy evacuating their citizens you busy meeting. How unfortunate! The evacuation of your nationals will cost you nothing. These are human beings just like you. Put yourselves in their place. You have commercial airlines operating in Nigeria. Ask the airlines to go and get our people out of a war zone, they will comply because we are talking about human lives, our people in that respect. Stop quoting this outrageous amount of money to be spent for evacuation. Get your citizens out of Ukraine and Poland, then settle with the airline operators in Nigeria, pure and simple. Be humane for a second, and show compassion to your fellow human beings in grave danger. YOUR OWN PEOPLE. | | | | |

| | I lived and studied in Russia for 5 years before leaving Russia. I know what the Russians are capable of doing in this particular case. I will advise the Nigerian government not to interfer in this war condemning both sides. We have enough issues to deal with in Nigeria. Rather, send airplanes to evacuate our citizens in Ukraine ASAP. Our diplomats, students, businessmen, workers back home. The West and other countries are doing the same. We don't have to wait until our people are killed before we act. The earlier the better. There are many commercial airlines in Nigeria to contract for this purpose. It wouldn't take our government anything at all. We owe this to our people in Ukraine. | | | | |
