In nigeria, we've lost faith in our medicinal plant products, due to reasons bordering on dosage, preparation, lack of toxicitytesting etc. What many people dont know is that most of our orthodox drugs were produced from template laid down by discoveries on herbs. Now as youths,it is important we clamour for the legalisation of traditional medical practises, but under strict regulation, with competent pharmacognosis. finally, e ma mu agbo o.
yesso..also an agbo fan, just dont like the taste.....drugs are made from these herbs...moreso i see drugs as too artificial..

@helga...i think they just let the bulk of it litter around...we dont have good advisors or ministers on such issues when...only a few individuals and factories who need these materials for reproduction get to gather and store them for future use...its what i think..i have to really find out

@khadijah i dont agree with what your saying. Every generation will make changes.

And yes you will change the situation in Nigeria but not if every one is so negative.
If the changes are not able to be done at a big scale you can do it on a little one. You start and then others will follow. As its the people who will change a nation not the politician because they are on the top and dont give a damn ohhhh they pretend they care but really its just a facade.

@ Cleverman i like your thinking just start on a little project what lies close to your heart and see if you can make a change. If not for others just start doing it for yourself.

well said.i have the faith but i'm saying is our youths arent standing up..i am saying this cause i know i'm also guilty...we say we gonna do one thing or the other...people at higher ranks find ways to destroy them, and instead of fighthing harder,we back out all because we dont want to lay down our lives, everyone's being conscious of their behinds,we lack that selflessness..so all we do now is talk from behind curtains hoping someone wil make that change i believe it will but i'm yet to see that trait in our present day youth..
