We have lost everything we met on the land. Cocoa, palm oil, groundnuts, cotton, cashew and rubber have been forgotten and are better produced by nations... who came to learn from us. We have lost our moral compass, our society is fractured, our statehood is threatened. Our citizens are in all prisons around the world. Some of them prefer foreign prisons to coming back to Nigeria. Our passport is treated with disdain everywhere you present it. Why should our Senate Leader earn 600 million per annum? Why should our senators earn 30 million per annum? Why should our National Assembly gulp 1.2 trillion naira per annum while we try to save 1.4 trillion from subsidy removal ? Why should our government be this big with special advisers on cassava and beans affairs? Do we need 36 ministers? Why would our president spend close to a billion on food while close to eighty percent live on less than a dollar a day? Why should he budget a billion for generators and diesel when he is urging us to believe in his power sector reform? Why does our President need 6 private jets? Why do our governors move around with twenty-vehicle convoys while David Cameron has just two vehicles and one outrider? Why should our politicians keep their salaries when Obama slashed his? Why should we continue to be wasteful when the handwriting on the wall says “danger”? Why should we believe this government when it says the subsidy gain will be properly reinvested. Well it's high time we ask the Creator of the Air (which is the most important) and Land of Nigeria for his Intervention.

5  Forum / Politics / Reckless spending by Top Gov officials Abroad on: 8-12-2011 07:07 PM
Respect to Mr President Saying Yesterday " Worried about reckless spending by top gov officials Abroad" It is good that the president is worried about reckless spending by top government officials abroad, and has taken steps to educate them on it. But beyond the poor public image that this reckless spending paints of Nigeria and her leadership class abroad, there are many more important reasons w...hy Jonathan should be worried. He should be very worried about the factors that fuel this profligacy, especially in the face of the growing impoverishment of ordinary Nigerians. One critical factor that we are all too familiar with is corruption of many members of the leadership class. I mean, top government officials and political appointees who convert public funds to private use. Many of these people find it difficult to separate personal money from public funds, hence their reckless extravagance at public expense. Even when some of these top government officials may not be stealing public funds, the widening gap between the remuneration of this class of public officials and other categories of workers should be a source of worry to the president.

House of Representative member, reacted this way to his losing his party's ticket at the primaries:
Patrick Obahiagbon >"This has made me suffused with emotional narcolepsy that the homosapiens in the metro-political geographical enclave of Edo have opted for Owanbe-ing over legislative Quomodo dicis. Such a reckless display of narcissistic and flamboyant hedonism is capable of encumbering our nascent democracy with insidious, repercussive and cataclysmic exigencies...."

Hmmm

Newest Invention-Anti Rape Device
A South African lady(Sonette Ehlers) has invented a new device that is called RAPEX. Its an anti rape device trap with rows of razor sharp hooks, its designed to be worn internally by women. It latches to the penis during penetration and can only be removed by a doctor.

With this kind of device made available for women, won’t they start adapting to RAPE?
