On the beat for this year’s edition of Ovation Red Carol theme song is OJB. The song which features seventeen (17) of Nigeria’s finest voices from the old to the new generation among which are Yemi Alade, Ice Prince Zamani, Waje, YQ, Wizkid, Segun Obe, Chidinma, IBK, Eva, Jaywon, Malaika, Shayne, Ugly, Karate Kid, Dipp, Kefee, and Sir Shina Peters is simply classy.

Worthy of note was the extreme passion and devotion displayed by ace music producer, OJB who was reported to have produced the song on his hospital bed and went as far as giving directions to his production assistant on what to do just in case he was unable to finish the work.

Shank Got E.M.E act and rave of the moment, Wizkid to join him in dropping some hot lines on the beat craftily produced by Sarz. The end product of the collaboration was the remix of the earlier released song, “Salute”.

Weeks after the Highlife Maestro, Flavour N’Abania released the tribute song to late MC Loph and consequently the video, another friend and colleague of the late rapper is out with another song dedication. Mr. Raw, in his song titled “Sunset At Dawn (MC Loph Tribute)” narrated the good, bad and ugly times they had together.
