Any thing that can make this country-Nigeria to be a home is highly acceptable. Whether or not America, it's hard to say effectively seen every evidence of division becoming stronger everyday. Had it been that people that hate the division of Nigeria had hated everything that can encourage division of the country enough there woun't have been a place for all this sort of rumours. But reverse is the case. The powerful voices that hate division did not hate human massacre and tribalism enough. Hence killing of human being like animal in the north is becoming a trend.
     It's no news that splition was predicted for Nigeria in 2015; the suprise is why it's looking faster than 2015. American may have contributed in 2015 prediction but it is obvious their hand is clean from why it want to be faster than then. Even many wounded citizens of Nigeria has started calling for help from anywhere when they felt hopeless from prevalent killing and tribalism in the North b4 this rumour of American preparation and not.

The truth is I don't give a shit(pardon my French) bout dis gay issue. As much as I agree, that we should not be bullied by d western world into accepting their evil ways, we have far bigger problems than homosegxwality in our society. Our Rights as citizens are constantly being trampled upon by a Government that pays lip service to our problems,a Government supposedly by d people but not for d people. Yet I should get excited over a bunch of hypocrites who call themselves senators passing a stupidly irrelevant bill???, irrelevant with respect to the current Nigerian situation. The truth is at least in these so called morally perversed westernized nations, the common man has equal opportunity to become ALL that he wants to be regardless of their segxwal persuasion, but where are we with all our 'righteousness'. Its high time we stop getting all emotional about the issue and face the reality of the day, these freaking legislators could not be bothered bout whatever sanctions(deportation, refusal of entry, trade sactions etc...) their actions might evoke as they have carefully put things in place to ensure the well being of themselves and their loved ones regardless of ANY sanctions. The ones who would be left to face the aftermath are you and I, so stop dulling.

     Every 4yrs election period is aimed at propelling interesting leaders to give their best to their people as quick as possible, and test themselves with their work in next election. Any extension beyond 4yrs will have a place for laxity, over-confidence, carelessness and abuse of power. This can be very dangerous at the long run. If GEJ succeed to heave FRN constitution to his own ego, bet me; no future president will not dare to USURP THE CONSTITUTION. This is very dangerous and not expected of any elected president of Nigeria at any time. Nass members should insist to revitalize a law to destabilize any intention to stampede and heave Nigerian constitution as it concern tenor and duration.

i think this is a very good idea in a positive direction considering how much we waste on elections every 4yrs in a country where there is gross poverty. Also this 7yr single term will reduce political thuggery and do-or-die politicism. Kudos to u mr president!!
