1  Forum / The Buzz Central / Cossy Orjiakor - I'm A Born Again Anglican on: 7-09-2012 11:40 PM
Many people who have misconception about this controversial actress will not believe that she is a good Christian.

Though, some wonder how she attends church services without creating commotion with her mammals gland. Anyway, the tinny voice actress has disclosed that she prays to God as a christian and she attends church like a normal human being.

"Prayer is a personal thing with God. I tell God what is on my mind. All have sinned and have come short of the glory of God. I go to church you know; I am a born again Anglican." She said.

But as controversial as she is, she has suffered a lot of misconceptions from people mostly her colleagues, most of these are what she is aware of.

Her comment about that is simply that, "I have bad press publicity about the kind of clothes I wear and all that. There was a time I attended this old school party and I dressed the old school way. The press then wrote that this is how Cossy Orjiakor is, she is looking ugly, and maybe she was on cocaine and all that. How could I go to an old school party looking new school? That day, I even had nice Brazillian weave-on on and I had to weave it any how so that I will look old school. I think they just like talking about me." She told us.
2  Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / Cynthia Osokogu’s BB found with Port Harcourt based businessman on: 5-09-2012 09:44 AM
THE last may not have been heard on the gruesome murder, in a Lagos hotel, of Miss Cynthia Udoka Osokogu, the Delta State-born 2009 second runner-up of the Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria, MBGN, with the recent recovery of her Black Berry, BB, mobile phone from a Port Harcourt-based businessman.

The middle-age man (names withheld) was arrested by detectives attached to Area ‘E’ Command Festac Town, Lagos, after the deceased’s BB pin number was retrieved from her father.

This is also coming on the heels of the discovery of a bizarre video recording of how Cynthia was allegedly raped by her suspected killers. The video was seen in the laptop of the suspects.

In the video, Cynthia’s face and brutalised body was clearly shown being raped, while the faces of the rapists were blurred. Apart from being tied and forcefully raped, the rapists also bit her deeply and several times in her Bosom s, buttocks and back .

Vanguard gathered that although Cynthia’s BB has had all information pertaining to ownership of the handset flashed-off in an attempt to make pass for a brand new phone, detectives led by the Area Commander, ACP Daniel Okoro, were able to use the pin number to get the number of the SIM Card of the current holder.

According to sources, one of the detectives then put a call to the Port Harcourt-based business man to say that the BB in his possession was a stolen one.

Through the information on his registered SIM Card and the receiving mast, detectives moved to Port Harcourt, where his residence was located. But they did not meet him at home.

It was said that the phone buyer openly admitted that he bought it through a friend in Lagos, adding that it was sent to him through courier services.

The source said: “When the detectives were able to get the pin number from Cynthia’s father, they started work on the theory that all the information contained in her handset may have been deleted.

“But with their knowledge of BB, they know it can never have two pin numbers. So they started working on that theory, and it bore fruits.”

3  Forum / Sports / Megan Edwards, sexy accounts worker who inspired Usain Bolt for Olympic gold on: 3-09-2012 10:44 AM
Usain Bolt is in love again, if the rumour mill is to be believed. The world's fastest man Bolt was helped to his triple Olympic gold success by a stunning British model. Curvy Megan Edwards, from Dartford, Kent, focused the mind of the 25-year-old Jamaican with a string of secret dates during London 2012.

The sprint king, whose 9.58-second 100m is the fastest in history, took an instant shine to gorgeous Megan, 22, as they appeared on the catwalk together to model Jamaica’s team kit ahead of the Games.

It is believed Usain, with a personal fortune estimated at £30MILLION, wasted no time swapping numbers with the accounts worker.

They then warmed up with a series of flirty texts before embarking on a string of romantic dates during the Olympics, The Sun added.

Usain — the highest-paid sprinter of all time — went on to clinch triple Games glory in the 100m, 200m and 4x100m relay.

And Megan Edwards, a junior athlete with Dartford Harriers Athletics club, helped him celebrate his glittering success at an after-party in Brick Lane, East London.

The star received a brilliant reception as he took a turn as a DJ, playing and singing along to Jamaican music while the crowd danced and cheered him on.

“It was crazy, everyone was trying to get a piece of him — especially the girls. But Usain only had eyes for one girl that night, and that was Megan. She was by his side all night.

4  Forum / Politics / Eddie Murphy Death Rumors Still Lingers on: 2-09-2012 01:52 PM
Eddie Murphy is not dead despite several attempts by different media outlets to kill him off. This is not the first time that rumors of the actor's untimely death hit the internet, but this time, the rumors won't die.

On August 31, Alt Film Guide confirmed that Murphy isn't dead but that he is, in fact, planning a new television show based on "Beverly Hills Cop."

Despite quite a few media outlets claiming that Murphy died in a snowboarding accident, it is not true. The news shot all around the world and quickly became a trending topic on Twitter, several people wondering if the actor had actually died.

If Eddie Murphy was dead, sources like People Magazine and even news outlets like CNN would be reporting the sad news. Fortunately, no one reported on the bogus story... because, well, it was bogus. People tend to just run with news like this, perhaps letting adrenaline take over and not doing a good job at stopping the fire once it is started.

Murphy has been in the news a lot this week and not just because he isn't dead. The actor is really working on something great for TV that people are excited about. This news coincided with his false death, but it's still publicity, right?
Eddie Murphy isn't dead and neither is his "Beverly Hills Cop" idea either.

5  Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / Rich Church Members Snatched My Wife - Nigerian Pastor Laments on: 27-08-2012 06:30 AM
A pastor, Samuel Oyedotun, stunned an Ake Customary Court, Abeokuta, Ogun State when he said  he wouldn‘t have got married to his wife, Lydia, if he knew the woman was not responsible. Pastor Oyedotun said his wife made him believe she was religious when they met, until after she bore two children for him and he discovered she indulged in drinking beer and was also adulterous.

This, according to him, gives serious concern to the extent that he hardly prayed as he used to do before they became husband and wife. The pastor said he met Lydia in lbadan and they got married legally while the union, according to him, is blessed with five children.

He added that what informed his decision to sue for divorce was that he found she was dating some rich men in his church, and that when he confronted her, she  threatened to deal with him ruthlessly. The plaintiff said that all efforts to stop her from continuing in the habit proved abortive.

He therefore urged the court to dissolve the marriage and grant him custody of the children. Though the 37-year-old woman denied the allegations levelled against her by the husband, she told the court she was ready to accept the divorce since her husband was adamant.  Lydia said it was not the end of road for her.

The respondent however pleaded that the court grant her custody of the children because she knew that the money Pastor Oyedotun  would be making from the church would not be enough for the upkeep of the children. Meanwhile, the case was adjourned for further hearing.

6  Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / JTF denies involvement in oil theft on: 15-08-2012 08:46 AM
Authorities of the Joint Task Force, codenamed ‘Operation Pulo Shield’ in the Niger Delta, have denied any form of complicity in the illegal oil bunkering along the coast of the South-South.

Apparently reacting to recent newspaper reports which claimed that three main groups comprising civilians, top military brass and foreigners were behind the rising upsurge in oil theft, the JTF contended that none of its rank and file was involved in oil bunkering.

In a statement issued by its media coordinator, Colonel Onyema Nwachukwu, a copy of which was obtained by the Nigerian Tribune on Tuesday, JTF said, "inasmuch as we may not be privy to the source of this claim, our concern is that this insinuation is grossly erroneous."

According to the statement, "these unsubstantiated insinuations are coming at a time when the Defence Headquarters has intensified the fight against illegal oil bunkering and the Federal Government through its Ministry of Petroleum Resources has declared that there is a positive growth in oil production in Nigeria."

While describing the claim as unfounded and baseless, the JTF said it was clear that the publication was a campaign of calumny by those whose horses had been gored by its operational activities in the Niger Delta, stressing that, "we have been accused of complicity by this set of criminals and yet, we recently arrested an oil thief whose two vessels were laden with 600,000 metric tonnes of crude oil, even when he attempted to bribe a senior officer of the JTF with $30,000 dollars, which the  officer rejected and immediately ordered his arrest."

"On the whole, in the third quarter of the year, over 927 illegal refineries have been brought to complete extinction, 21 vessels, 86 barges, 293 Cotonou boats and surface tanks with total capacity of 17,515,320 litres of products have been destroyed by our operatives. 86 suspects have so far been apprehended and handed over to appropriate prosecuting authorities," the statement added.

11  Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / How to Start a Small Business in Nigeria from Scratch on: 12-07-2012 10:22 AM
How to Start a Small Business in Nigeria from Scratch
1.            Prepare Yourself

The first step to starting a small business in Nigeria is to adequately prepare yourself. You may think this is not important but it can be the thin line between success and failure. Running a business on Nigerian is tough but highly rewarding. Nigeria is a harsh terrain to operate in but since we are Nigerians; I believe we are well grounded to tackle the challenges on ground. I will suggest you read the article below to further understand the need to prepare yourself.

The Cost and Challenges of Doing Business in Nigeria

Preparation is one of the reasons why most youths apprentice under the watchful eyes of an established entrepreneur for years before breaking out on their own. Now how do you prepare yourself? You can prepare yourself by attending a seminar on the chosen line of business you wish to venture in. You can also prepare yourself by accepting the reality that you can fail tomorrow; you prepare yourself by increasing your risk bearing capacity. And ultimately, you prepare yourself by making up your mind to succeed despite the odds and competition.
2.            Have a Good Idea

To successfully start a small business in Nigeria, you must have a good idea. In fact, any idea or business opportunity will do; except you are pioneering a new invention. I emphasized that any business opportunity will do because most Nigerians focus solely on the business idea without knowing that a business idea is just a tip of the iceberg in the entrepreneurial process of building a business.

“A business idea is just another idea. But an idea backed by a strong feasibility, a thorough business plan and a smart business team is no longer an idea. It’s now a solid business opportunity worth pursuing.” – Ajaero Tony Martins

Starting a Business: It Takes More than Just an Idea

A good business idea alone does not guarantee success in business; an average business idea with good business fundamentals does. The world is filled with brilliant “million dollar ideas” but the world lack seasoned entrepreneurs.

You don’t need to crack your head to create something new; don’t bother re-inventing the wheel, just find a proven business line and learn the fundamentals. You can even decide to buy a franchise if the capital is on ground. Nigeria has the needed population to absorb any product that is backed by a strong business sense.

3.            Do your Feasibility

The third step to starting a small business in Nigeria is to do a thorough feasibility study before investing a dime in any business opportunity. This is basically where the failure of most Nigerian entrepreneurs begin. I have seen people invest in a business idea or opportunity simply because a relation said the line is profitable. I have seen people jump in to an industry blindly in reaction to unverified information.

I know entrepreneurship is all about risk taking but jumping into an industry without an adequate knowledge of its fundamentals is suicidal. I know this because I am talking from experience; my dad made this very mistake and he paid dearly for it.

Now how do you conduct feasibility study on a business opportunity? I can’t answer this question in detail here but I have provided all the answers in the articles below.

4.            Understand your Market

Before jumping into any business or industry; make sure you have thorough understanding about its fundamental metrics. Every business line has a secret and if you must succeed; you must find it. Understand the market of the line you are going into.

Who are the customers? How do they want to be served? Who are your major competitors? Who is the market leader? Do you have a chance for survival? Can you grab some market share in that proposed business industry of yours? These are the questions you must answer before starting a small business in any industry.

5.            Draw up a simple Business Plan

This is another point where most Nigerians miss it. It is estimated that over 85 percent of small business owners in Nigeria operate without business plans. While I won’t criticize them, since I started my first business without any business plan; I think it’s worthwhile you separate yourself from the pack.

Since majority business owners are operating without business plans; why can’t you capitalize on it and make it a competitive advantage for your business. Banks don’t lend money to businesses that are operated without business plans but what if you have one? Well, I leave that for you to answer.

Please write a business plan for any business venture you want to undertake. Even if it is an informal, one page business plan; write one. Your one page business plan may not get you the bank’s attention but it’s a way forward because it will help you concentrate on fulfilling your business mission.

6.            Find a Good Location

So you want to start a small business in Nigeria? If yes; then where are you going to locate your business? Are you going to site your business within your neighborhood or are you going to site your business in an industrial area? Are you going to separate yourself from the crowd by building your own brand in a specially selected location? Or you are going to operate from the centre of trade and commerce places in Nigeria?

If you intend dealing on general merchandise; then you can consider locating your business in districts such as Aba, Yaba, Tradefair, Idumota, Lagos Island, Oshodi, Mile 12, etc. But if you are in a service business or you are building a specialized brand; you can situate in areas such as Ikeja, Allen Avenue, Apapa, VGC, Victoria Island, CMS, Ikoyi, etc. But wherever you choose to situate, make sure you are well prepared to face the challenges of that terrain.

7.            Raise Capital

Before making up your mind to start a small business in Nigeria, I want to assume that you have the necessary capital to at least launch the business.

8.          Start the business

After going through all the processes above; this is where you get down to the real deal, this is where you start the business. Most people make wonderful plans, do feasibility research and even raise the needed capital to start a business. But for reasons best known to them; they just fail to start.

Maybe it’s because of the fear of failure; but what I do know is that not everybody has the guts to start a business. Most can only dream of it but only few dare to take the risk. Are you willing to take the risk and start your own business here in Nigeria? Only you can answer that.

Actually, this is where your work as an entrepreneur gets tougher because statistics reveal that 75% of all new businesses started fail in their first five years. And of the 25% that survived; 80% of them will fail in the next five years. It means that about 90% of all businesses started will fail in their first ten years. This statistics may be harsh but it’s the truth in its entirety. Are you prepared to lose it all? If your answer is yes, then start.

9.          Survival is the Game

If you can make it to this stage, then it’s congratulations because you’ve just started your own small business in Nigeria. You have started the game and showed resilience; now is the time to break it through. At this stage, survival is the name of the game. You might take some pounding from stronger competitors; you might make a business mistake or even face intricate business challenges but don’t give up. Stay strong and fight it through.

12  Forum / Sports / Samuel Eto'o Risks Up To Five Years In Jail Over Alleged Tax Evasion on: 29-06-2012 08:22 AM
Samuel Eto'o Fil'es

A Spanish public prosecutor has accused Cameroun’s striker Samuel Eto’o of conspiring to evade 3.5 million euros ($4.4 million) in taxes owed on income from his image rights when he was playing for Barcelona between 2006 and 2009.

The Barca and Inter Milan former player, now with Russian Premier League club, Anzhi Makhachkala, is accused of four tax offences, each punishable with up to five years in prison and a fine of as much as 21 million euros.

The case presented by the prosecutor on June 15 at a Barcelona court, and which was seen by Reuters yesterday, asked a judge to open proceedings against the player before the statute of limitations on one of the alleged offences expires tomorrow.

Spain recently launched a drive against tax evasion as it struggles to meet tough European deficit reduction targets that have meant budget cuts for hospitals and schools. Eto’o allegedly created two companies, one in Hungary and another in Spain, and used them to channel income obtained from ceding his image rights to Barca and sportswear maker, Puma, the prosecutor said.

The Hungarian company paid one of the lowest corporate tax rates in Europe - 10 per cent to 19 per cent - while the Spanish company paid a reduced corporate tax rate of 30 per cent to 35 per cent, instead of the 45 per cent income tax rate, the charge said.

Eto’o also allegedly used the Spanish company to deduct personal expenses, such as payments for his mortgages, furniture and expenses related to his luxury cars, the complaint added. Eto’o and his club could not immediately be reached for comment.

The prosecutor also accused Eto’o’s former agent, Jose Maria Mesalles, and the manager of the Spanish company, Manuel de Jesus Lastre, of the same tax offences. Eto’o filed a lawsuit against Mesalles at a Barcelona court last year, accusing him of betraying his trust and of embezzling money, local media said.

13  Forum / Sports / Yakubu Confirms China Deal on: 29-06-2012 07:32 AM
Transfer News

Nigerian international Yakubu Aiyegbeni has signed for Chinese club Guangzhou R&F on a three-year deal.

The player passed a medical and has now signed the deal after his English side, Blackburn Rovers, approved the move.

“It’s a new adventure for me after playing in Israel and England,” Yakubu told BBC Sport on Thursday.

“I hope the club will come back again into the top flight as soon as possible”

“I’ve been here for only three days and I can feel the love, warmth and the professional attitude of the people.”

Blackburn were relegated from the English Premier League at the end of last season, prompting the Nigerian to consider his options.

Yakubu Confirms China Deal

“There were many clubs interested according to the media, but the only people who made direct contact have been Guangzhou R&F,” Yakubu said.

“Many will ask why China? The truth is there is not much to prove after scoring almost a century of goals in a league (the Premier League) considered as one of the best in the world.

“I thank Blackburn Rovers, the fans, fellow players for making my one season there seem like a decade – I appreciate their support [and] I hope the club will come back again into the top flight as soon as possible.”

Neither the transfer fee nor his personal terms have been disclosed, but Yakubu said that money was not his prime reason for joining the club.

“Money cannot buy you happiness and what I have found from the people in China is love, happiness, sincerity and warmth [and] I can’t wait to get started here,” he said.

“They are starting an unbelievable football programme here and it’s nice to be a part of it.”

His deal comes just a week after former Chelsea star Didier Drogba signed for a Chinese club, Shanghai Shenhua.

15  Forum / Politics / Okadigbo’s wife accuses Anambra police of harassment…sues IGP on: 25-06-2012 05:33 PM
WIFE of late former Senate President, Dr Chuba Okadigbo, Mrs Margery Okadigbo, said weekend that she decided to sue the Inspector General of Police, Alhaji Mohammed Abubakar to court for incessant harassment by the police.

In the suit, Okadigbo is praying the court for the enforcement of her fundamental human rights, lamenting that for some time, the police had been inviting her to the Anambra State police headquarters over an allegation of forgery when she did not commit any offence.

Joined in the suit are the Assistant Inspector General of Police in-charge of Zone 9-Umuahia, Mr. Solomon Olusegun and the Anambra State Police Commissioner, Mr. Ballah Nassarawa.

Okadigbo, who is claiming to be the rightful candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, for Anambra North senatorial zone in the April 2011 election, is contesting the seat with two other persons, Prince John Emeka; a former transport minister and Senator Alphonsus Igbeke, who was the immediate past senator that represented the zone.

The case to determine who was the validly nominated candidate of PDP in the election had gone up to the Supreme Court, which had fixed July 6, 2012 for judgment on the matter.

According to Okadigbo, the police had consistently been inviting her to report at the station over allegation of forgery of some documents pertaining to the senatorial election.

She said while she was busy making preparations for her father’s burial, she was again invited by the police, noting that she became apprehensive when the police declined to intimate her on why they were desperately looking for her.

She accused the Anambra State police command of allegedly harassing her, using the name of the Inspector General of Police and wondered why the same police that assigned some of its officers to protect her when she reported a case of threat to her life by some unknown persons, should turn around to say they were looking for her for alleged forgery.

Anambra State Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Emeka Chukwuemeka, who did not give details concerning the court action by Okadigbo, explained that the matter was already being addressed by the state commissioner of police through the legal department of the command.

16  Forum / Politics / Family of five escapes death when car somersaults on Oshodi-Apapa Express on: 25-06-2012 02:51 PM
WHETHER it was fright caused by the loud blast of the horn from the trailer speeding from behind, or whatever else it might have been, the middle-aged driver suddenly lost control.

But for Providence, the man and his four passengers, suspected to be his wife and two other relations would have met certain death in the accident along Toyota stretch of Oshodi-Apapa Expressway at about 5.00p.m. yesterday.

Lucky for them, they sustained injuries, which may be serious on account of some of them being to the head.

What passers-by and sympathizers agreed with was that the man and his family whose name The Guardian could not ascertain were very lucky indeed.

An eyewitness, Suleiman Ibrahim said the man and his passengers were heading to Mile Two from Oshodi in a red Nissan car with Lagos Registration Number AH 327-FFE when the accident occurred.

According to Ibrahim: “The car was heading towards Mile Two when probably because of the loud blast of the horn from the trailer behind, the man tried to give way.

“It was in that process that he rammed the car into the road median and it somersaulted.

“They were lucky too that people gathered and helped them out of the vehicle which had been damaged and was lying on its back.

According to him, the passengers- another man, two women and a boy of about seven years old, also sustained injuries and were taken to hospital.

Another eyewitness who identified himself, simply as Bello said, “the driver of the Nissan car was on top speed when he lost control, rammed into median following which the car somersaulted.

“It is difficult to understand why a man who was probably returning from church or a visit with members of his family should be driving at that speed.

He could have killed them all and then people would blame one thing or the other.

“Many motorists ignore the danger that over-speeding poses to their safety and others as well. Vehicle crashes have been the leading cause of death,” he said

“I thank God nobody died, it was so terrible and I pray that   motorists should take caution.”

A Good Samaritan, one Mr. Anayo, was said to have willingly taken the injured man and his family in his car Volkswagen Golf with Lagos Registration Number ET 574 APP to Isolo General Hospital.

The arrival of officers of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) and police ensured that the traffic jam that was building up as a result of the crash was soon cleared.

An FRSC official who spoke in condition of anonymity, said that the accident was as a result of over-speeding and therefore, avoidable.

“We have always warned drivers to stop over-speeding and over-loading but they would  not hearken to simple  advice until their negligence leads to tragedy.

“ A look also at the tyres on the car indicated they were not in good shape and should not be used at the speed the man was said to have been driving.”

17  Forum / Politics / Bauchi night blast injures 9 on: 25-06-2012 02:45 PM
An explosion near a cluster of bars in the northern Nigerian city of Bauchi, recently targeted by Boko Haram Islamists, has injured nine people, police said Monday.

The home-made explosive device planted in an unfinished building next to a group of pubs went off at around 10:00 pm on Sunday in the city’s Tudunwadan Dan-Iya neighbourhood, Bauchi state police commissioner Mohammed Ladan told AFP.

“It was an IED (Improvised Explosive Device) planted in the relaxation spot that caused the explosion which injured nine people but there were no deaths,” Ladan said.

“We still don’t know who was behind the attack but we have commenced investigation into the incident.”

Among those injured were seven men, a woman and a three-month old girl, he specified.

No group claimed the attack, but the city has been previously targeted by Boko Haram, responsible for more than 1,000 deaths since mid-2009.

The Islamists claimed a suicide blast at a church in Bauchi city on June 3 that killed at least 15 people.

The United States last week said it had designated the head of the main branch of Boko Haram, Abubakar Shekau, a “global terrorist” along with two others tied to both Boko Haram and Al-Qaeda’s north African branch.

18  Forum / Politics / Ebonyi women protest suspension of female legislator for drunkenness, riding Keke on: 25-06-2012 02:41 PM
Abakaliki, the Ebonyi State capital, at the weekend, virtually came to a halt when over 50 women from Ivo Local Council stormed the city to vent their anger over the suspension on “a trumped up charge of drunkenness and boarding a tricycle,” of the member representing their constituency in the House of Assembly, Princess Lillian Igwe. With pain clearly etched on their faces, the women told journalists they were in “Abakaliki to protest the mischievous and malicious act of discrimination and intimidation against our representative,” and called for a redress of the false allegations against Mrs. Igwe.

While indicating that the matter might get to the National Assembly and the Presidency, spokesperson of the group, Mrs. Obiageli Doris, noted that the suspension of the legislator was also a crime against women and people of Ivo Constituency, who Igwe represented.

“We, therefore, want to use this opportunity to urge the House leadership to immediately look into the matter and rescind the vindictive suspension. This is the minimum remedy we expect from the House leadership unless the House is prepared to face the consequences that the grave error of judgment would attract. We wish to state our resolve to pursue this matter to the National Assembly and the Presidency until the truth is made open and justice done,” she declared.

The visibly infuriated women, accusing male politicians of intimidation and marginalization of female politicians, wondered how “the only woman from the senatorial zone among the four women in the House of 24, a woman of virtue, a wife and a mother,” could be linked to the alleged offence of drunkenness.

Stressing that “the allegations were false, baseless and confounding”, the women said the false allegations on their representative were to “bring the woman’s name, the entire women and people of Ivo Local Council to shame”, even as they queried when it became an offence for a legislator to board a tricycle also called Keke NAPEP.

Her words: “Even if the female legislator boarded  Keke as alleged as one of the offences for which she was suspended, she must have done that to feel the pulse of the people she is representing at the House of Assembly. Must she buy a helicopter just because she is in the House of Assembly? She is our representative and we support her feeling and humility”.

Speaking further to the thunderous acclamation of the throng, Mrs. Obiageli declared that the womenfolk in the constituency were prepared to fight with their last blood for justice to prevail and if possible take the matter to the wife of Mr. President, Dame Patience Jonathan, for necessary condemnation.
