1. Vows are just vows and nothing more. Look at it like a promise i have made many promises in my life and i have broken some. When i made those promises i didn't know i was going to break them but i broke it anyway because it no longer became convenient for me to keep such a promise. Promises with marriage are very tricky because they involve promises made between two individuals. And as soon as one feels like the other is not holding up his/her end of the bargain it makes it all the more easier and justifiable to end the vow.

Well unless God speaks to you in a vision and says "that is the woman/man i want you to marry" then nobody including the partners should try to split up the couple because common sense will tell you not to mess with God's commandment. However the reality is we see someone we like we date them then we marry with little consultation for God. Even when we pray about it, can you say 100% that you are doing it with an open mind? unlikely. When you meet guy or girl after a while you already know if this is the kind of person you want to spend your life with any prayer done after that is more like "please God let this man or woman be good for me" and less like "Is this person the one for me"

3. You don't even need to divorce to break your vows. Love is an emotion that one can't really control if you end up loving someone else or not loving the person you are with anymore is it better to suffer and smile in the relationship? I know ppl will say you should try harder but true love isn't something you should have to TRY for. As soon as love is dead whether divorce or no divorce the vow is broken already so might as well just divorce.

4. well it depends on how you define marriage. If you define marriage as simply a list of commitments then you can make such a claim but it isn't. Marriage is not a business transaction it is not a contract it is merely a commitment that two people enter into willingly. As soon as one person is no longer a willing participant then bone d marriage.

5. Well i believe love can conquer all. The people that are in my life that i love there is probably no state or condition they can be in that will stop me from loving them because that is true love. Anyone abandoning their partner because they are in a worse situation never felt true love to begin with so they shouldn't even have gotten married in the first place. So better late than never end the marriage

Me i am VERY VERY VERY pro divorce and i will debate on the merits of divorce till i die. I see all these babes i know rushing into marriage you see one random guy and 2 days later he is telling you he loves you and then d babe chops then they marry. The reason why divorce rate isn't higher imo is because of the societal stigma divorce still carries especially in naija society. The only way to effectively lower divorce rate is to encourage ppl to choose their partners more carefully but there is no way to mandate that in a free will society.

My advice to you if you are married is to never take your partner for granted and actively work to keep the relationship moving well. If you are not married be very very meticulous as you choose your partner. I believe that when ppl get married they truly intend to only do it once but they just don't fully grasp the implication of committing yourself to this person for the rest of your life. Like me i can't marry someone until we date for at least 2 yrs and thats the minimum because it is only after 2 yrs do ppl show their true colours all the fronting go seize then you can get a true factual glimpse of your partner and decide whether or not you want to stick with them or not

Dunno if he is guilty or innocent but what i know is that dude has always had money.
