| I'm beginning to feel depressively sick about the state of this greatly belittled nation called Nigeria. Every report coming out from the country about the country has been terribly terrible. What on earth is wrong with the leaders? What is happening to the nation. No, I think its come too far, its high time the Military returned. Because we have a bunch of pepperously ridiculous thugs disguised as politicians running the country ruiningly. It is enough. Nigerians change your mentality, stop accepting bribes during elections, be in solidarity regardless of your ethnicity, and there shall be Revolution. Enough is enough. | | |

| If this report is true, then surely the man in question needs serious help, and to be specific, serious deliverance. But above all, both parties need to turn to God for forgiveness before they incur His wrath. The woman claims to have been called by God, but the things reported of her in this story does not manifest the fruit of God's chosen vessel. I cannot judge, I have no right to, but it is written "By their fruit, you shall know them", Matthew 7 verse 16. There is an unpleasant consequence when anyone make the house of God a place of mockery. Anyway, Lord have mercy on us all. | | |

| I'm not surprised because it's only smaller clubs without any expectations that scream like bitches as you are doing. You've joined aston villa Mr.and that's it.You should celebrate it in the middle of an expressway, don't you think? So pathetic! Just go to church next Sunday and give a testimony if you know God at all for this miracle because it's never going to happen again! You bandwagon fan that know nothing about your club's history.I can swear you are one of those who started supporting Chelski in 2004.Glory hunter!
"So pathetic! Just go to church next Sunday and give a testimony if you know God at all for this miracle because it's never going to happen again!"....young man, why are u so bitter. May I ask, what team do u even support? Listen to yourself, "it's never going to happen again". That's just the mother of all bitterness. And in Nigeria I believe you call that 'witchcraft'. Are u a witch? cos that's just brutal EVIL. I don't know you, but from your comments and to the specific the underlined statements, I'm justified to say u're one hell of a bitter soul. This forum was meant for rejoicing, be it chelsea fans or good wishers, but you just came on to defile all odds by your ruthless, diabolic, disgraceful, unsocial, unnecessary, and lame comments, but good luck to you though, if that's your way of life. But I hope not though. Get a grip and cheer up. The cup is here in England, and not just for Chelsea. The bottom line is an English team beats a German team ON PENALTY shoot out, on most notably on German soil. Now that's what I call PERFECTO!!!!!!!!

| The face of evil is very ugly and very disgusting. Every action is reaction they say. Talking from experience, before youreach a verdict on this, first ask yourself what would make a nice and loving man who went and married a nice and lovely lady to all of a sudden turns around to be a monster. Turning the other side of the leave, does one question if the man is happy carrying out this kind of act on the lady that used to cause him sleepless nights? Most of these women you see are so evil, so wickedly evil that it takes severe discipline not to lay hands on them like this. Possible the now monster husband must have gone through mental, psychological, emotional, spiritual truama before taking this drastic decision. It is very easy to say this should not be condoned but who knows the man might have narrowly (if) escaped from the claws of death due to this woman's actions. By nature women attract pity so easily which swallows up or provokes aggression toward the man whilst the woman is the perpetrator.
I'm moved by your supremely analytical view. And, it takes a broad and highly detectively-gifted mind to reason the way you have now. Though, I don't and will NEVER condone violence, however, its only fair that matters be investigated critically before judgment be passed.

For goodness sake, could we all just stop tagging domestic violence as an "African mentality". If you've lived and grown up in the western world then you would know that domestic violence is widely experienced too in this region of the planet. Its NOT an "African mentality", its an animal mentality. The difference is, our culture and tradition seems to ignore the gravity of such acts, and the law does NOT offer much help, in terms of the measures which would sufficiently serve as deterrence in the society. While in the Western world where culture and tradition seems to have no definition, there are laws which organises every sect of the society. Which includes the family. The law provides rules and sufficiently deterrable punitive measures against domestic violence. Therefore, its arguably, and please note "ARGUABLY" true, if it should be stated that its not an African mentality rather, its an animalistic mentality in African society. Its a mentality which culture, tradition, and legislation have failed to efficiently attend to. Thank you.

| Men are the HEAD and women are the NECK, we turn them how we want and when we want............ thumb up dp What a pity. When you ladies turn 39 and don't find a husband, you start blaming the devil, and running from church to church solution. That's exactly how people like you end up being forced to have sex with false prophets all in the name of deliverance. But is cool, you know why? because its your life, keeping sowing this bitter and very irrational mentality in your heart, and keeping stiring other ignorant people to strife by sowing same bitterness in their heart, because at the end, its you who will reap what you've sown. As much as it hurts me to say, but you leave me no choice, see, a man could be 75 years old and still find a wife, but a woman in her late 50s, has it all to do. I despise sexism as much as I despise hell, but some ladies like you two disgust me. Your attitude and character is perceived from your manner of communication, and it says alot about y'all. I feel sorry for those good, descent and reasonable ladies, because its girls like you who make their life hell, because if an ignorant man looks at you both, he may probably think that all girls are like you nonchantly. And that really is taking the biscuit. Grow up. where this one from come for..who preached to you that a woman at 50 can't find no husband? meanwhile, save yourself the comment or whatever..doesn't it look like i care what men like you thinks and say... you are really fast to judge..nevertheless..your comment doesn't bother me..hisss hiss on me, right? That's fine, I understand. You're upset cos I told it as it is. I understand. And at the same time, I pity you, cos, your mentality would take you to where you never even anticipated. What a shame. Maybe you think you're tough or some sort of "Ijebu diva", you can act or say wot u feel like. But I tell you the truth, if you don't change your irrational sexist attitude and develope a proper communication manner and respect and positive perception of the opposite sex (men in this matter), you MAY end up getting to that 50 and recalling this day, but in an appaling state. Only an obnoxious, lazy and jobless person with a supremely retarded state of mind would come up with this kind of topic. You sure need to rethink, before you become as useful as carbon-monoxide. But anyway... from now onwards anything' you say would be ignored... I've wasted enough time on you... and to go on doing so would only prove worthless... anything further would be ignored... thanks, your comment was appreciated but not valued. So say no more, but just grow up. ohh shut up...my comment wastn't value but you wrote like 6pages...you should have ignore it in the first place ...rather than replying...what doesn't that says about you?useles fool. HOPEALESS, behave yourself, I know you can be stupid at times, but I don't know you to be an idiot, so please do not speak like an idiot. Just behave yourself. Just maturely review the topic and you'll understand that it is deeper than you foolishly think it is. Thank you. Say no more. | | |

| Just pitiful. P.I.T.I.F.U.L who can blame her, when the intellectually gifted one are even left to turn to the street even after graduation. Nigerian Education has no value, thanks to the Nigerian government. Failed in EVERY field; economically, socially, politically, academically, morally, and even religiously, the country is in a bountiful mess. But there is hope even in the midst of hopeless. Because, NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD. Nevertheless, change must begin with the people of Nigeria. Stop abusing yourselves, stop killing yourselves, stop fighting yourselves, put on the garment of SOLIDARITY, and in one mind, stand against the corrupt viles and antics of your politicians. Know this, Nigeria has no leader, all you've got is a politician bearing a title which was traditionally design for a true leader. Its is well. | | |

| Infact, I have alot of questions. But we can take it one after another because I have the whole day to myself. You must have heard of the Violence all over the world. one of the major cause is usually refusal by other religious group to accept their faith. The latest was the Muslim convert to Christianity who was sentenced to death by hanging. So, my question is If we don't keep our people enlightened of this happenings globally by this wicked, satanic and barbaric religious group so that they will be prepared for self defence should such occure in Nigeria instead of trying to flog a dead horse, don't you think the best way to disseminate such information is through a world wide site like this? Or what is your solution to this evil Religion?
Again, an absolutely essential question, and if everyone was as you then probably there wouldn't be such a "Thorpe Park of abuses" spreading infectious on this board. The manner in which you've asked this question is absolutely royal and demands a well polished answer. I again must concur with your last view that the only way is to "disseminate such information is through a world wide site like this". Tremendously correct. That's exactly what I was trying to say, maybe I wasn't very comprehensive, and I must apologise if I hadn't been. And may also add that what I intended to say subsequently to this idea of dessiminating information, is that there is more efficiency when information is dessiminated in the most intelligent manner. And not by abusing ourselves. And most of the persons being abused verbally here, are not even muslims nor northerners, they're just persons who even share the same thoughts as other well-meaning Nigerians, but just didn't understand the concept or what exactly some persons are trying to say, cos all that's been on this board hasn't been much of a campaign, rather its been abuse, and some people even go as far as cursing peoples' family. This website is almost globally accessible, and such manners does not invite support, even if its for the right cause. I hope you understand. Anymore question? I'm happy to clarify. Thanks.

Abeg, go back and ask dat ur old woman dat, "If someone or set of persons are forcing others to accept Sharia law or ISLAM otherwise they'll be slayed or slaughtered". Should the other people keep quiet and wait until the entire people are slaughtered?
Good question, and the anwer is NO. If you follow the context of the statement, you'll understand that what I intended to say is that if you're campaigning against such barbaric law, the best method of dealing with a virtually ignorant core is by calm intelligence and not by abuse. I do understand your points and I quite concur with you to a great extent, cos its a fact that some personalities in the northern region are concretely rebellious in almost every aspect, but what I'm trying to say is that it appears we're all fighting fire by using petrol. And that aint helpful. Is there any other comment u would clarify? cos if there is I'm very happy to make clear.

| Well, its so amusingly funny but mind-blowing sometimes, when you think how some people could be sane, yet seek for trouble at all cost. How on this little planet could any reasonable person persistently with abuse jump on another person's comments which was neither confrontational nor abusive. Its just amazing. Not good for a gentleman and surely not lady-like. I fear that the economy in Nigeria must have been so gruesomely horrifying that even some ladies have totally forgotten that they are actually ladies, and rather they've become much like a heart-hardened rebelling beast. Nevertheless, I don't think I could keep up high stooping so low to such extent of engaging myself in indignifying confrontations. Its pointless. Not the way forward. I am where I am today, cos God ordained it, but I'll remain humble, and will never brag about it, not even if anyone makes belittlle-ing comments. So if some people say I'm in Zimbabwe or Zambia or Gombe or Gambe or even Jupiter, well done, its your right. So I applaud such persons for exercising such right. Its not right but its ok. | | |

| Well, its all good, and like Witney said, "Its not right but its ok". I sincerely hope terrorising characters like some persons on this board are not the exact ones I'm faced with when I arrive. I only wish to enjoy my easter break. I'm sure in the midst of the ugly attitudes there are always good ones. Surely Nigeria can't be all that bad. I so long for the beautiful sunshine and a memorable time with well cultured persons, and surely beyond reasonable doubt its not a request too many. Howbeit, I look forward to it, though nervous, but I remain excited, cos its the way forward to experiencing, first hand, the state of the country, as claimed. Its all good. | | |

| I speak with freedom, and yes I'm at liberty to express myself in any shape or form, but I speak also with restraint, by virtue of the fact that I owe it to respect others and their right of dignity. Growing up, I learnt for myself that the most important feature in life is "GREAT COMMUNICATION". Communication is the heart of any interpersonal relationship. Now what am I insinuating? I am emphasizing that the manner of communication which is epitomised by most persons on this board is ridiculously harmful. The result of any campaign depends entirely on the manner by which its communicated. A wise old woman once told me, "son, if you're asking a man to change and you're asking him in an extremely violating mannerism, then what you're logically asking for is NOT change, but an unwelcoming reaction." The question here is what is my point? My point is, if we must seek change in others, we must first review how we seek it. A lot of Nigerians are seeking change, and are furstrated, and rightly so, but if the way you lot are communicating on this board is exactly the manner in which you're campaigning for such change, then its as good as an hopelessly vain effort. Dwelling and in the midst of white friends/elders, I've learnt that the best weapon any man can use is "intelligence". So while some persons on this board are going on blah blah blah, aggressively and verbally physical, I'll like to assure such persons, that I don't think I could keep up stooping low to such level. But I must sincerely I applaud your efforts. | | |

| Never in life, would anyone who think it wise to jump on other people's comment abusively without respect or constructive criticism do well. And its the fact of life that there is a very thin line between confidence and arrogance. Again, with utmost self respect, I shall NOT mention names nor lay blames, but I must concede that if fighting fire with petrol is what most people think is the solution to the problem in the country, then it exposes such persons as one suffering chronically with intellectual-deficiency. Again, fellow Nigerians, do bear me witness that I never mentioned names, nor am I in any mood to respond to nonchalantly constructed written attacks. But to some persons who think it fit or intelligent to jump on my sincere comments abusively, I can only applaud you and say keep it up, if its the way you think you're helping the country, in your own part. Nevertheless, questioning my passion, vision and my ambition for my mother's nation is just a significant evidence that such a person doesn't know me, because EVERYONE who knows me can bear witness to that part of me. With due respect, please dear good people of Nigeria, knowing that earth is NOT actually a big place, to act limitlessly rude and extremely unbaked to everyone possible, whether you see them or not, is an ill-advise. The world is not a big place, and technology has made it even smaller. Any fellow first class computer scientist, would testify to that. So please be careful. | | |

| Though not all, and I reiterate, "NOT ALL", but some comments on this board epitomises the problem with the country. Subsequently, hearing these same group of persons unleashing floods of abuse on others on basis of their irrational actions, which in honesty could be classed as barbaric, is very hypocritical. Once you start acting like a barbarian, your right to confront others of acting barbarically is automatically devalidated. I'll not mention name neither will I make specific references, but its becoming intolerable on how some people are beginning to outsmart themselves thinking that they've got all might and right to be extremely abusive, even beyond immoral imaginations. I look at the country Nigeria, and I say to myself, the problem with the country is really NOT just the leaders, but the mentality of the populace. And if majority of the populace are of the same characters as some persons on this board, then we might as well conclude that the great leaders, such as Nnamdi Azikiwe, Ahmadu Bello, Awolowo, Sir Tafawa Balewa; they all died in vain, cos the people they served don't deserve them. On a globally accessible website like this, y'all are constituting nuisance, painting the country appallingly and mercilessly making mockery of the entire nation, and you think you're having fun. Its painful to see, its unbearably painful. If all blacks were of the same attitude as most persons on this board, I wonder if Martin Luther King would have thought it over before putting himself in a perilous situation and dying for such a great cause. Surely not. And please if you don't have anything positive to say, PLEASE DO NOT reply to me, cos I never mentioned names, nor have I been specific. Its high time some persons grew up and emancipate from such chronic mental slavery/retarded intelligence. It would do the nation well. Cos there aint no point being human yet you're worst and more useless than carbon monoxide. Just grow up. | | |

Now back to your comment, well.....eveything bad is only associated with one part of Nigeria and that is the northern part. Trust me mr grrenwinch, you really don't wanna go to the north to spend a night. Your head would no doubt be used to prepare a delicious kebab. Tell your family to disassociate themselves with anything Nigeria ok? We're too many in population and i'm not sure we need more people. Thanks.
