He wouldn't have been getting all these hates if he was presented as a promiscuous playboy and wife snatcher or as a wealthy corrupt Nigerian politician. This is why Nigeria is still backwards; a place full of hypocrisy. Why should I hate someone because he is gay? I rather hate the senators that are sharing billions while majority of Nigerians are going hungry.
A country that has more churches than industries, believes in grace instead of hard work, believes in revelation instead of discoveries will forever remain slave to their slave masters, stagnant and backward.
The problem with Africa is people don't mind what affects them rather, they vent their anger on what is no way their business. Imagine, an African leader displaying ill-gotten wealth he robbed from the people, he will get admiration instead of hate, but see how people are reacting to this transgender even though its non of their business. Pope Francis once said "who are we to judge?"
Elsewhere in the world the suspect would have been released if forensic evidence did not link him to the crime. Nigeria is still living in the 18th century. How long should we continue like this? Isn't it better to divide that country?
A huge monitor lizard which was hit by a moving vehicle in Bangkok was rescued by a good spirited individual. The good sameritan who was driving along saw the injured reptile and stopped. He noticed that it is still breathing and placed triangles around it to save is from being hit further by passing vehicles. He then called a rescue team and the animal was taken to animal hospital. Because of the kindness of this stranger, the vet doctor who treated the animal gave some discount. The reptile responded to treatment and after few hours in the hospital, its rescuer paid the bill of 2000 baht which is about 20,000 naira. The big lizard was later released. Monitor lizards are common sights in Thailand. Most Thais don't eat it and Thais are known to be sympathethic to animals in general. Yesterday, we read in this forum how Nigerian soldiers caught a big monitor lizard in northern Nigeria and slaughtered it immediately for pepe-soup. I think it's high time Nigerian government enforces some laws on animal conservation as our planet is not only for humans. Many Nigerian indigenous animals are being hunted to extinction. See photos of the rescued animal.
