Very useful and enlightened exchanges are going on here but the biggest qustion of all is: 'are the other animals, including other mammals that engage in sex committing sin?' If not why not? Are they not committing fornication since there is nothing like marriage in their kingdom? Most especially the he-goat, when fully charged does not discriminate between his mother and sister -
all is fair sex! If it is a sin, then he is assured of burning grass dinner beside lucifer in hell.

@ onyiis, reasonable reasoning but the ways of God are mysterious and all man can say is just guess work. Humans are also animals but as the saying goes, " all animals are equal but some are more equal than others". Man has used his superior intellect to dominate other animals - just as he is dominating his weaker counterpart, the woman! The lesser animals with their own system may have their own 'ten or five commandments' sealed and delivered in the flesh of other animals they feast on while praising God.
you are right but no human will be comfortable beein identified with the other lower animals like goat and cork etc
This is no doubt intellectual reasoning! First, the so-called lower animals take in oxygen like us, superior animals, and have red blood running through their veins. While man may delude himself as to his 'all seeing eyes', he cannot know what the animals are seeing or whether they are closer 2 God than sinful man who wants 2 use his woman as a meal ticket and then dispose of her without qualms.
