I do not really think it's a kind of tribal war, racist or whathaveyou.
Base on the fact that, he did not sealed all Ibos properties in Lagos.
There's more to this political outrage between Fashola & Kalu than the eyes can meet & understand.
maybe,if we can insist in confrontation of both parties, we may understand better.
I think Fashola is directly/indirectly telling other state governors to boost their capacity as a leader...just like what have you done in your state?
or what have you been able to do in your own state just like me? of which your tribe & people & the Nigerians should be proud of.
The competition has just been started!
Any state leader that needs to be respected by all, should then put his best in whatever he's doing.
Let the Ibos leaders get angry, hurry down to the East & make life a better place for their people.
Urhobo, Ijaw,Edo,..infact North,south,East should start the competition right away.
Good name is better than riches!
The masses are dealing directly with their own state governors now.
Take for example,
Fashola constructed good road... 1/0 score
East will construct good roads + flyover + subway. & nags Fashola to 3/1 scores
Delta state governor will now construct good roads + direct flyover to all junction. Example direct lane to Hausa Quarters, Main Market, NPA,PTI Junction,Effurun Roundabout,Udu Rd + Constant 24/7 power supply & thereafter Job opportunities for both Graduate & undergraduate,Companies, industries etc..etc.10/1 who's next?...next person......comment,comment let go on...Abi my citizens?
No need to blame F.G .
No need to go Sokoto, when what you are looking for is right in your shokoto.
Did Fashola look up to F.G b/4 commencing what he thinks best enough for his people.
If Fashola can do so much for his state,what other idiots were unable to do for so many years,Nigeria would've been a better place.
He might probably do his best for the Nation when he becomes the president.
Be wise & beware of political manipulated speculation on Nigerians & tribes to create confusion.
for the deportation of some of the Ibos, there might be a reason for it.that the law will take it's own course.
If the other leaders are so full of themselves, let them show some examples like Fashola.

| | seriously...i dont think there are british citizens lining up in the hundreds daily to apply for nigerian visas..nigeria government is a joke..most foreigners dont want to be in nigeria if they had the choice..the only reason you see them in naija is basically the oil ..thats it..its all about money..they get it and leave..nigeria is not a tourist destination were foreigners are lining up to enter.,.with the crime ,electricity issues, kidnapping and all the third world vices...the 3000pound fee by the british is justified...Go to london and see the havoc nigerians are perpetrating in that country..they have no choice but to restrict entry...those nigerian with legitimate business in the u.k will not have a problem paying the money...In nigeria we need foreign investment and if we try to restrict entry,they will go to ghana or equitorial guinea (they have oil too) and invest their money..... the losers will be the ordinary nigerian who would have gained in terms of job and financial boast to the contry....Our leaders will always be fine ,they will continue to steal as always.....goodluck to the nigerian govt on this alleged misguided move..

All you've said about Nigeria & Nigerians are all negetive instigation.Do you mean Nigeria at 50 is as bad as what you've just described? How old is Europe?
Do you mine all is well in Europe? the atrocities, crimes, depression, jobless,rubbery,fraudsters, by 15th of the month salary is gone,for charges & taxes .etc...etc & you are left with nothing.(let my point be clear,i'm not in support of bad habit) BUT...
Please give us some credit! lets put ourselves together,fight for the truth & stop tarnish the image of Nigeria & Nigerians.
We do not need to fold our arms to whatsoever rubbish or intimidation from past colonials or anybody.
We are educated & developing.
This is one reason, why the westerners doesn't like us.We fight for our right & the truth.We do not stoop low to whatsoever intimidation.
Let them go & invest their money where there can control the people. For Nigerians, i trust in us we do not accept rubbish.
Nigerian abroad should be proud to possess a Nigerian Passport in complement with the other citizenship.
That's what a true Nigeria should do & I do not think,Nigeria government will go as far to tax his citizen coming into their motherland with double citizenship.
Just that,to hell with some people to think, it's doesn't worth it,to carry a Nigerian passport when you are having a european one.
why should we stress ourselves to get a visa of his own country, if not otherwise.
The issues concerning crime ,electricity,kidnapping... will soon be history.
Just be optimistic & pray for God to touch the heart of our leaders.

| Some Nigerians out of ignorant rejoiced about ghadafis death simply cos he made a very truthful comment which will sure come to pass the way things are in Nigeria now...................Nigeria will have peace if they devid thats wat ghadafi said just an opinion as an individual come to talk of how helpful and useful Ghadafi is to Africans no 1.. when the europeans began to increase the air fare thereby making it difficult for d africans to travel home n see their lov ones Ghadafi introduced an air line 4 d africans he cut down the prise so afordable to enable those who doesnt find their feet in europe to travel to africa many of the Africans who travel during the crisis to africa are still waiting 4 d crisis to end for them to use air afriq to come back to europe but it wount be possible cos for a long time the europeans were not happy wit d air line cos african petronage to european air line droped cos air afriq was very cheap..
Ghadafi realised the western world treated our fore fathers am talking about slave trade and they refused to compensate Africans 4 that, instead they made it very difficult for the africans to come to europe 4geting how they came to africa wit out visa.
Ghadafi boys bombed panama air line ....yes...... But he paid huge amount of money to america which the recieved still not satisfied they only want him dead.
Ghadafi realised how d europeans locked up their embassies in african countries wit stict measures over traveling documents Ghadafi let lose the only cheapest way african can get to europe any one that crosses his or her heart should pass theough d sea.
Many african citizens who went to europe on a plata of gold wit the help of Ghadafi, and he is the only president that never owe i.m.f till death instead he borrowed to some countries now they hav use this meance to confiscate his money all these points i made are som of d reasons why europe n american wants to kill him now they are free to share libya oil am so sorry 4 d libyans

So What's d Problem? The long rule and good governance?
Detailed research no doubt but the people just want a fresh and perhaps younger leader to carry on with the business of leadership. The great leaders of the past knew that this yearning is inherent in human nature and they new when to step aside, even if they essentially "cloned"themselves. Lee Kwaun Yu of Singapore stepped aside and became a senator( of course he is no longer one) and handed over leadership to a scion of his. Deng Xiaoping of China did the same thing some decades ago. Today Singapore is a developed country while China is the second largest economy in the world. This in my view is a testament to the effectiveness of that line of action. Therefore dictators that consider themselves to be benevolent in nature should consider the prevailing global reality emplace a means by which their policies would be furthered even in their absence; and quit while the ovation is loudest. I watched the Libyans jubilating yesterday on TV news when they heard of the death of Gaddafi. What a shame on the Libyan ppl!!
Do the Libyans think America and the West have their welfare at heart? No way...all the West is interested in is to see Libya destabilised so they can lift oil and other commodities cheaply or even for free as the case may be. Gaddafi was already mapped out for destruction coz of the Lockerbie issue. the powers that be never forget. It may take years but they will wait patiently by till they can get their pound of flesh and this they have done. To them the end justifies the means. I cry for you Libya, your problems have just started. The West have destroyed your country just like they did Iraq and Afghanistan. The glory of Libya is gone forever. Gaddafi was stabilisation for that country....now chaos will ensue..

| i could have be happy if they kill all the bad us leaders and the european leaders that destroyed the world, the way they killed gaddafi.cos gaddafi did not destroy the world. they killed him because he is an african man, i pray that almighty father which the american and european didn't know that he is living, one day he will jugde. is only God that can kill, no body has right to kill. they want the africans to be a slave forever, they want to command our home but we have never command their home and i believed, that the third world are going to command the world and am sure of that. i beg all the africans leaders that is time for them to co-operate to show the young africans that we are humans created from God not animals.

| The Libyan Rebels were not fighting for clean water, good road, electricity or any social amenity, they wanted democracy. Since my mum gave birth to me till this day, there has not be constant electricity supply in Nigeria. In Nigeria now everyone sink borehole just to get water. Just check how many people have died this year alone in Benin-Ore road due to bad road. Gadaffi was no saint but he lived and died for the country he loved.
