@phino  Grin
I agree with you on that one too.
My mother used to say " lies have short legs ", meaning who lies has to have a very good memory.
So thank God im blessed with a exceptional good memory. Roll Eyes

As for husbands im afraid i lost count but uhhhmmm that might be a lie from my side  Wink

Yes i agree with the above. Not all but lots of Nigerians lie with a straight face. Even with the proof at hand and being confronted with the lie they will not admit they did commit one.

Wonder how this goes together telling lies and then praying to God???
85  Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / Re: Has Obama abandoned BLACKS? on: 21-01-2010 01:40 AM
Im wondering why people cant see further.
His greatest achievement is already done becoming the first black president of the USA.
So opening the doors for further black generations to come.

What can he really do? As being the president he is only one voice among many.
With a country to run whats in deep deep troubles.

86  Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / Re: How will Farouk Mutallab's bomb attempt affect Nigeria's Image and Economy? on: 21-01-2010 01:13 AM
hmm quite frankly this amazes me.

@ RogerMellville

Your credit card provider must have been deep asleep.
When i used my credit card 3 times in a row in lagos on the same teller my credit card provider called me to ask who was using my card on that and that teller. They could tell me exactly where i was and what time.
After they asked my details they told me they would have closed my account if it wouldnt have been me.
How then can they just raid your account if you didnt give this person all your private details?
You must have done so.

You can help people yes but trust them with all your private details is a stupidity from your side.

88  Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / Re: Is religion evil? on: 8-01-2010 07:06 AM
Im in agreement with this totally.
More people have been killed this way then in any other war.

 War?

How many have been fought in the name of some sort of religion? And it will never stop.
You would think after thousands of years people would have woken up to themselves and leave all this behind and believe in what they want to believe. And let religion rest.

89  Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / Re: What If.... MUTALLIB’s Case Was A Setup? on: 8-01-2010 12:31 AM
hmmm you never never know.
Could be a test to see how secure and alert every one is. As once again America was asleep.

Im surprised already that America hasnt put his finger into Nigeria a long time before this as Nigeria is a other wealthy country with lots of resources what is im sure on America's next hit list. As this could be there way in.

Im convinced though a attack on America will not come from terrorists outside but from American terrorist within.

@ dolphinkate
If as you claim dividing a nation in 2 wasnt based on basis of religion what was it based on then?
You say peace. Peace for what? Explain this to me?

If you would have been reading my statements proper as you havent from what i gather here you would have not come to the conclusion that i blame Muslims in any form.

Whats the difference between a  fanatic Muslim or Christian i will tell you ITS NON.

As when you go back into history religious fanaticism started with the Christians Crusaders and there HOLY WARS and it hasnt stopped ever since.
I was pointing this fact out to you but it seems it went over your head.

On a further note sorry i cant see where i did turn your words around. So pls read my statement again.

@ dolphinkate
Dividing of a nation on basis of religion is simply a stupid option. And maybe you dont look far into this or history at all.

Look back less then 100 to 200 years ago the killing and burning on the stake in European countries of people from different religion.
OOOPS did i say different religion?Huh?Huh??
Nope they all believed in the same thing they were only called Protestants and Catholics. No Muslims here at all just yet and still killings occurred
Look at Holland for instance with there dominant Protestant north and Catholic South. Should it have been divided?

Nope the best solution is education, tolerances and in the end the problems will resolve itself.
As so much of the problems we have now we should  looked back at the Christians in the first place.
95  Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / Re: BREAKING NEWS: Mutallab Family Issues Statement on: 4-01-2010 08:45 AM
********Most muslims r living their religion peacefully. Hope that ppl see the difference, that only those fanatic terrorists misusing the koran for their insane acts and taking the average good muslim in trouble with it. Something like "holy war" does not exist and is nowhere written in the koran. Besides the new testament of the bible is also part of the koran.*********

Ok then the so called  "HOLY WAR" as you tell here above, might not be written in the Koran but its definitely part of the Christian crusades.
Remember the Christian Crusaders going on a "HOLY WAR" ? They might not be written in a Bible or Koran as such but they have always been around.
Can we there for then say its the Muslims who did start this so called HOLY WAR or should we look back where it came from in the first place the Christian religion with there dominant attitude itself??

As for the family its self. Nobody can guard there kids all the time. They grow up being influenced by so called better and more interesting people then there own families. They make there own life they have a mind of there own and no matter what education they have had some brains and bubbles will just snap and go into the wrong direction.

Unless you yourself are perfect you cant judge this family at whats written here.
I for one wont do so as you know where and the whom the coin will roll so getting our kids into there grips.

96  Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / Re: How will Farouk Mutallab's bomb attempt affect Nigeria's Image and Economy? on: 4-01-2010 06:50 AM
Of course the world eyes are once more upon Nigeria. Will it damage your image or economy?
Not in the long run as hey whats the diff already. Was it easy for Nigerians to get a visa abroad before? Will they even pull the string tighter on you then what they already did? Economy wise dont think that will change at all. As the west needs more from Nigeria then Nigeria from the west.
But yes you will be in extra focus for a while to come.

 But is this justified?

Or .........................is it like 9/11, or the weapons of mass destruction in Iraq who were never found a stuff up by  American itself and they want to put the blame to someone else again, so as not to be seen inadequate themselves? America was forewarned in all the above mentioned and choose to ignore it.
Same with this boy once again. With all the information given to them on a silver plate they still stuffed up big time.

To me it doesnt matter if he is a Nigerian, German, Afgany or Dutch citizen as no government can protect every body of fanatic people. They are found in any race and religion. They kill because they are fanatic and are brainwashed. Dont know how many of you have young teenage children but just look at them how fast they can be converted to some wild idea. No matter what sort of upbringing they have had.

Its fanatisme whats so dangerous in this world today and its this what should be addressed.

99  Forum / Politics / Re: what do you think is really Nigeria major problem, Corruption or Bad leadership? on: 29-06-2009 07:57 AM
I agree with olukayode10.
As i have said so many time before. Show me a government or a police force any where in the world were leaders aren't corrupt.
China for one is a big one and still it has advanced. Look at the America's and Europe and here in Australia as a matter of fact corruption charges flare up all the time as deep down all people are corruptible.

How can you blame a government and its leaders when the people are doing the same?
You change and the leaders only have one way .......... to follow you.

100  Forum / Politics / Re: IS OUR PRESENT GENERATION CAPABLE OF CHANGING THE SITUATION IN NAIJA? on: 27-03-2009 06:04 AM
ok there you have a typical loser before the age of 21

You dont feel proud to be a Nigerian?
You country has never done shit for you??? Im sure so far you havent done shit for your country either so get off your ass and change it.
Look around you you have a whole future before you but like a lot of teenagers you want it NOW given to you on a plate of gold.

Believe me NO country hands you anything on a golden plate you have to EARN it no matter where you are. Look at the senile people at least they did try.
You on the other hand failed already as you have given up before you started.

This is not even a Nigerian problem but worldwide.
Young people who have it all and dont know they got it.
