I just why there exists so much hatred, intolerance and religious bigotry amongst us in this country. Can anyone tell me what is wrong in the request? Is ours not a multireligious state? (If u feel Nigeria is a secular state then prove it). All these negative comments are totally uncalled for, as a matter of fact this is a requst i think everyone of us should support and agitate irrespective of religious beliefs after all they did not request that it be made compulsory for any student at that. He has only requested that it be approved amongst female muslim students who may desire it.

If there is a freedom to hold religious beliefs, then this must be allowed and accepted by all and sundry

I av got no pity for the boy if this eye witness account is anything to go by. It is totally unafrican and goes to show the level of moral decadence in our environment, if a boy of barely 21 could be so bold to slap someone much older than him over arguement on N50. It is sad and pathetic. But surely, the policemen deserves no pity as well.
