| The deadly Boko Haram sect may have forcefully conscripted 100 persons in Doron Baga, a village in Borno State, Punch reports. Nigerian leading news firm, Punch, gathered that about 100 persons were abducted during a Sunday attack on the village where over 10 persons were killed by the insurgents. Some of those that fled the area that were sighted in Maiduguri on Thursday, said they had to flee the area because of the constant attacks by the insurgents. One of the displaced persons, Halima Alhaji Adamu, said six members of Hadejia community in Doron Baga were killed and about 100 young men were abducted on Sunday when the members of the Islamic sect, Boko Haram launched an attack on their community displacing thousands who are now seeking refuge in some parts of Borno and Yobe states. | Malaysian Airlines flight; MH370 has been mysteriously missing for 12-days now and the possible solution to this quest has so far been the talk of the town. Latest reports concerning now this issue claims that a Taiwanese student seems to have found a satellite image which appears to show the missing passenger plane in the skies above a jungle. The authenticity of the photo has not been verified, and the region depicted in the image is unknown. The image was taken from a map search website currently being used by thousands of people in an attempt to search for the plane. Some days ago, some fishermen and villagers close to the southern border of Thailand said they saw ‘bright light descending at high speed’ and loud noise of a plane engine on the night the plane disappeared. | According to top UNILAG campus blog, Alariwo.Net, Just about 3a.m today, it was gathered that a student of the University of Lagos, Akoka, lost sanity after reading for a long while at the Akintunde Ojo 24-hours library. This was gathered to be as a result of the pressure which the students claimed to have been mounted on them by the school management, following the just concluded 6 months strike action by the Academic Staff Union of Universities. Though confirmed that the student has been given the necessary medical attention and has been responding to treatment, the students of the school have been going around calling for students’ solidarity to convince the school management to extend the examinations commencement date with a week, as students have claimed there is still much to cover from classes held before and after the strike action before they could be able to give maximum attention to the examinations. With the theme ‘See My State First’ , organizers of the project: Qhue Concepts says the event would see sixty finalists who would be selected from the nationwide regional screening to be conducted in over ten(10) states between March and April 2014. This would then be followed by a three (3) week long short code SMS voting process to reduce the top sixty to thirty seven (37). This actress is really beautiful even with her age. She was believed to have started the ‘aunty’ fight being experienced in Yoruba movie world today when she had a bitter fight with one of her colleagues. | According to American online news portal, the ONION , the corpse of the late music legend, Micheal Jackson has being discovered in Netherlands and he died some 18-20 years ago. Read excerpt from their report below; During a search for evidence at the Neverland Valley Ranch, investigators discovered a corpse that has been identified as that of Michael Jackson, Santa Barbara police officials announced Tuesday. “Coroners have officially pronounced Michael Jackson dead. From what we can tell, he died between 18 and 20 years ago,” forensic investigator Tim Holbrooke said. “We are not certain, at this time, who—or what—has been standing trial in that Santa Maria courthouse.” According to Holbrooke, Jackson’s corpse was buried just inches below a stretch of the miniature-train tracks that run throughout Neverland. The largely desiccated corpse wore the remains of a red, zipper-covered leather jacket and a single glove. “We positively identified the body as Jackson by his dental records and DNA,” Holbrooke said. “But even before we conducted a single forensic test, we began to suspect that that we’d uncovered the real Michael, and that the disturbing figure claiming to be Jackson was a fake.” Holbrooke said that, although the corpse was in an advanced stage of decomposition, when investigators compared the body to early-career publicity photos of Jackson, they saw a striking resemblance in bone structure and facial features. But when they compared the body to photos taken after 1987, the resemblance was negligible. “This discovery raises a lot of questions, but it also sheds light on a number of disturbing incidents,” Holbrooke said. “Frankly, Jackson had been acting pretty strange.” Click HERE to read their full report.
