Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / Re: Jonathan is a weak president, he rejected my advice to quiz Buhari & others - Az |
on: 24-06-2012 12:35 AM
| This is no news and it is not new. An average Nigerian knows that Ebele Jonathan is a toothless bull dog that cannot bite. He is a figure head President afraid to carry out the oath of allegiance which he swore to. He cannot take the bull by the horn by using his presidential powers to deal with those elements who are hell bent in destroying his government. All that he is concerned about is to maintain the status quo until his tenure expires. No wonder Nigeria is neither moving forward nor backwards. We are just static. I am afraid indeed afraid for my country Nigeria. | | |

Forum / Politics / Re: LOL! El-Rufai Shares Drama Linking Jonathan To Farouk's Travails |
on: 16-06-2012 06:59 PM
| This is not a laughing matter at all. We are talking of a serious matter that affects the lives of every Nigerian and here we are with Rufai turning the whole thing to a comic show. l hope it is not his own way of down playing the seriousness of the whole issue in order to prevent the necessary cause of justice to take place. | | |

| God help Nigeria o. Who is not corrupt in Nigeria? I tire o. Everywhere you go or turn to, there is mass corruption. This seems to be the bane of our problem in Nigeria. I know sooner or later Nigeria as a country will be sold to the highest bidder by a desperate and corrupt Nigerian. | | |

Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / Re: National Assembly To Honour Mikel Obi For Chelsea’s Double |
on: 12-06-2012 12:04 PM
| This is absolutely nonsense. Nigeria and Nigerians will not stop amazing me. What has Michel Obi's winning laurels with Chelsea ought to do with the Nigerian house of legislature? Instead of the house to concentrate on enacting enabling laws to improve the living conditions of the ordinary man in the street they are busy with wasting their time and that of the house with useless honors and partying. What image is Nigeria trying to create for herself through this self centered and ridiculous idea of a honor. We potray ourselves by so doing to the outside world as a nation without direction. This is not an issue of honouring a Nigerian who has brought honour and glory to the motherland but the case of a selfish and self-centred Nigerian trying to make a living by playing football in a foreign country. For God sake and for crying out loud can't our so called legislators use their time wisely? Our senators should be told in a straight language that they represent not only themselves but the entire nation and to make a delirious decision like that makes us a laughing stock in the eyes of the world. There are more important and pressing issues which our legislators can occupy themselves with instead they choose to deliberate on mundane issues that makes them looks like idiots.

Forum / Politics / Re: There Is Passive Corruption In All Tiers Of Jonathan Administration - US Reports |
on: 7-06-2012 05:12 PM
| This is no news.......................... the only difference between now and then is that it is now the order of the day, unlike in the past when public servants steals public money with some fear. Now government officials loot the treasury by stealing and embezzling public funds with impunity knowing fully well that they can always buy their ways through the power that be.
