3} Taking an Auto or Taxi at Night.
Experts Say: Before getting into an auto at night, note down its registration number. Then use the mobile to call your family or friend and pass on the details to them in the language the driver understands .Even if no one answers your call, pretend you are in a conversation. The driver now knows someone has his details and he will be in serious trouble if anything goes wrong. He is now bound to take you home safe and sound. A potential attacker is now your defactor protector!

4}What if the driver turns into a street he is not supposed to -  and you feel you are entering a danger zone?
Experts Say: Use the handle of your purse or your stole (dupatta) to wrap around his neck and pull him back. Within seconds, he will feel choked and helpless. In case you don’t have a purse or stole just pull him back by his collar. The top button of his shirt would then do the same trick.

5} If you are stalked at night.
Expert Say: enter a shop or a house and explain your predicament. If it is night and shops are not open, go inside an ATM box. ATM centers always have security guards. They are also monitored by close circuit television. Fearing identification, no one will dare attack you. After all, being mentally alert is the greatest weapon you can ever have.

This is something bad if the parents of these students could see this video. From the look of thing, it seems the girl went to those guy so as to study together cos book and calculator could be seen on the bed. But instead of studying together without distraction, the devil in them take lead by doing something else.

Graduands in Kogi state University are literally flogged, dragged on bare floor, and bathed with dirtiest and most stinking waste water – sometimes saved for the party – by schoolmates who are celebrating with them.



No harm intended, just fun. Yet mates are seen mobbing and bullying each other.

The celebrating victims have just finished their final exams in Kogi State University and mates are celebrating the feat in a bizarre style.

A 500-level expelled student of the Federal University of Technology (FUT), Minna, David Ndako, has been arrested by the police for Molesting and chopping off the head of a lady while celebrating the New Year on Tuesday in Rafin Yashi area of Bosso town in Niger state.

 We learnt that the girl, simply identified as Rahamat, was lured into the apartment by the man before he segxwally abused her.

Ndako was said to have dragged the headless body of the girl to the toilet in the apartment before wrapping the bleeding head in a Bagco super bag which he carried on his way out of the compound.


However, it was learnt that the neighbours became suspicious of the killer boy, particularly when they noticed blood dripping from the bag.

They were said to have questioned him on the content of the bag and forced him to open it before discovering that he was carrying the severed head of his female visitor.

Our correspondent gathered that the neighbours raised alarm which attracted an angry mob that almost lynched the school drop-out before the community leader in the area rescued him and handed him over to the

police.

The girl was said to be on a visit to his relative in Minna from Katsina state, but it could not be ascertained if they were in a relationship before the incident.

The Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) of the Niger state Police Command and Deputy Superintended of Police, Pius Edobor, confirmed the incident to us, saying that investigation was on to establish the identity

of the murdered girl and the relationship between the boy and the deceased.

We learnt that the Ndako was expelled from FUT over six years ago in connection with cult - related activities.  

After 13 months of pregnancy, a woman in Ekiti finally gave birth to a baby with anencephaly in Ekiti.



Anencephaly is a medical condition caused by a neural tube defect, which causes the baby to have frog-like features. Children born with this condition lack the forebrain which is responsible for cognition i.e thinking. The remaining brain tissue is often exposed—not covered by bone or skin.

There is no cure or standard treatment for anencephaly and the prognosis for patients is poor. Most anencephalic babies do not survive birth, accounting for 55% of non-aborted cases. If the infant is not stillborn, then he or she will usually die within a few hours or days after birth from cardiorespiratory arrest.

I arrived Lagos about three months ago to stay with my uncle and his wife, who's an Ibo woman. By the way my uncle is from Edo State and their marriage is about four years without kids. In the last week of August my bros travelled to the North on official business and something happened in his bedroom.

I came back that day because I could not meet up a job appointment in Igando area due to heavy traffic. I was reluctant to return home since I had just left but I couldn't think of a better place to go so I headed home. On getting to our compound, I didn't find the gate man at his post and I was even angry because of the security risk of him leaving the gate open like that.

But something got me worried when I saw the gate man's sandals right inside our sitting room. I just told myself that something is going on between my uncle's wife and this dirty boy. I was right, when I moved close to the window of my uncle's bedroom I started hearing screams of segxwal pleasure from his wife. I tried to peep into the room but it was difficult because of the protector.............................

So, I summoned courage and walk to the door as if I wanted to tell my uncle's wife that I was back. I opened the door and caught the adulterous woman red-handed under the dirty gate man (boy). Sadly, the gate man was already ejaculating so he couldn't get up immediately, it took him few seconds to jump off and grab his clothes.

I simply walked away and returned to the sitting room, pretending to be watching a programme on the TV. Few minutes later my uncle's wife joined me and started begging that it would not happen again. I didn't say a word but when she kept pressing I said ok I've heard. Later she brought food for me but I refused it and since then she has been putting pressure on me.

The unfortunate thing is now she even wants me to sleep with her as an assurance that I wont tell my uncle, always coming to my room half naked. Because of this I've not eating in the house in the last one week, I'm almost going broke already..

My uncle may be back next week. I will like people with more experience to tell me what to do when he comes back. Should I tell my uncle the kind of wife he married or quietly move out?

Nigerian Lady Wakes In Mortuary 2 Days After Death “I thought we were all sleeping,” she said.

Miracles are still happening! Twenty-one-year-old Adora Ugwu is planning to be a soldier. She also wants to secure admission into one of the country’s tertiary institutions. She had put her hands on the plough of her latter dream by writing the last UMTE.

But, as she was going for the other one, she died. Two days after the lady wrote the examination, she was heading for her home state of Enugu for the recruitment into the Nigerian Army when the vehicle she was travelling had a head-on collision with a similar minibus.

The result: her death and that of 25 others who included four discharged members of batch B National Youth Service Corps (NYSC).

Twenty of them including Adora reportedly died on the spot in headon collision involving two 15 passengers’ capacity buses, each, belonging separately to Peace Mass Transit Limited and the Enugu State Transport Company (ENTRACO). The buses had registration number BENUE - XB 504 TKP, ENUGU - XL 812 UWN respectively.

The ghastly crash occurred along Enugu- Markudi express road, at Amoka in Udi, Enugu State on June 20th. Immediately after the crash which was promptly reported to the Enugu State Command of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) by its Delta State Sector Commander Lukas Ikpi who met the accident while travelling on the road, the dead including Adora were evacuated to Our Saviour Hospital morgue at 9th mile. But she was not meant to stay among the dead for long.

Two days after she had been confined to the mortuary. The parents had wept and mourned, most of them especially the mother was devastated, but the dead must be buried. And this was what Adora’s relative intended doing: bury her two day-old corpse. At the morgue, the attendants were putting in place all the deeds of mortification when suddenly there was a sound; a sneeze, it was. They looked around, then another one! Behold, the body being prepared for claim by the relatives had just sneezed.



The dead don’t sneeze, they reasoned. Adora, whose body was being prepared, is not dead after all. When our agent asked her what she felt on her first realization of consciousness, she said: “I thought we were all sleeping. When I asked people around where I was, she said they said I had an accident.

"I cannot remember anything that happened when I was at the mortuary.” When Adora was discovered to be alive, her relative who had come to identify her was immediately called phoned the others from the morgue. Tears turned to felicitation. From the morgue she was later transferred to the Federal Orthopaedic Hospital in Enugu where is currently receiving treatment and spoke with our agent.

Adora, told our agent that she hails from Enugu state. She said she attended a secondary school in North-Bank Markudi, Benue State adding that she was in Benue to take her JAMB after which she was travelling down to Enugu for army recruitment when the accident occurred. GOD IS WONDERFUL

AN eight-day-old baby girl, was, weekend, allegedly killed by her step father for ritual purposes. The gory incident took place in Jesse, Delta State.

Already, the suspect, who confessed that he carried out  the act on the orders of a spiritualist in Ghana, is currently in police custody.



State Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Charles Muka, who confirmed the development in a statement, yesterday, in Asaba, said: “One Mrs. Gladys Emafuru, female, of Okunu village Jesse, reported that at 15:10 hours, while sleeping with her eight-day- old baby girl, the child’s step father (names withheld) 24 years old, walked into the apartment and killed the baby with a cutlass, opened the stomach and collected the intestines and other vital parts.”

Muka  added that “the suspect after collecting the vital parts of the baby, concealed them in a black cellophane bag and was about escaping to Ghana when he was caught. He has confessed committing the act, saying that it was demanded for in Ghana.”

A Muslim religious leader in Potiskum  and Emir of Fika escaped a suicide attack on Friday, when the bomber was thwarted by local people before blowing himself up, residents said.



Several people were wounded in the blast in the town of Potiskum, one witness said, as a police official said he was awaiting further details of the attack.



“A man who looked in his 40s … approached the emir and tried to embrace him, but people around pushed him away, and at that moment, a bomb concealed under his caftan went off,” one witness said.

Those wounded included the emir’s bodyguard, a mosque aid worker and a nurse, the witness said. The attack was said to have occurred as worshippers left the mosque following Friday prayers.

There was no immediate claim for the attack, though Potiskum has been hard hit by violence blamed on radical Islamist group Boko Haram.

A top Muslim traditional leader in northeastern escaped a suicide attack on Friday, when the bomber was thwarted by local people before blowing himself up, residents said.

Several people were wounded in the blast outside the main mosque after Friday prayers ended in the town of Potiskum, one witness said, as a police official said he was awaiting further details of the attack.

The target of the attack was Muhammad Abali, the top Muslim traditional leader in Yobe state, where Potiskum is located, and whose official title is the Emir of Fika.

It was the latest such attack targeting Muslim leaders in northern Nigeria, where radical Islamist group Boko Haram accuses establishment Islamic figures of being too close to the country’s corrupt elite.

“I and my brother were leaving the mosque through a different gate when I heard an explosion followed by a commotion as worshippers tried to flee,” another resident said.

“I fled the mosque, but some minutes later when the news of what happened spread, I came back to the mosque and I saw a large crowd watching the dismembered body of the attacker.”

Some three weeks ago, a suicide bomber tried to assassinate another key Islamic leader outside his mosque after Friday prayers but missed his target and killed five others.

The target of that attack was Umar Garbai el-Kanemi, who carries the title of Shehu of northeastern Borno state, where Boko Haram has been based. Yobe state borders Borno.

On Wednesday, Boko Haram claimed suicide blasts at two police posts in the country’s northwest and a separate attack at a home belonging to Vice President Namadi Sambo.

Twin bombings on Monday in the city of Sokoto, the historic seat of Islam in the country, killed two people and wounded 30 others. The bombers also died in the blasts.

Gunmen had fired on Sambo’s home in the northern town of Zaria on Monday. One civilian was killed in the assault.



No one lives at the house, which is undergoing repairs to damage inflicted during post-election riots in 2011.

Boko Haram has killed hundreds in an insurgency that has been focused in Nigeria’s mainly Muslim north, with attacks also occurring in the country’s religiously and ethnically divided centre.

The country, Africa’s most populous nation and largest oil producer, is roughly divided between a mainly Muslim north and predominantly Christian south.

This is currently a hot gist at a particular new generation bank on the Island.

A female staff of the bank came in yesterday (Thursday) all sweaty, sad and completely weighed down. Initially her friend thought that her disheveled look was due to the traffic she faced while coming to work and thought that she would get over it after getting a rest before resumption of office duties.

By 1p.m it was even worse as the said lady kept on crying, vomiting and complaining of headache and stomach pain. With much inquiries and persuasion from her close colleagues, she bursted out in tears and said "he has impregnated her".

This sent confusion to her colleagues who were consoling her but with further findings, it was learnt madam's husband has impregnated their 20years old maid (house girl).

The lady was sober because she claimed her husband threw the whole fault on her saying his actions were as a result of are not being home always and neglected him to concentrate on her banking career.

Saddest part of the story is due to the bank's policy, she can't get pregnant until after 2years of confirmation. She has only been confirmed 9months ago and only got married 11months (exactly a year next month).
