Zimbabwe – In an unprecedented move, a man and his mother-in-law defied all social norms and got married two years after the death of the man’s wife.

The man, Judah Magarasadza’s wife Rozie Gopoza died in 2008 and two months later his mother-in-law Felistus moved in with him. It is reported that the two then started a love relationship which culminated in them trying the knot in 2010. The wedding reception is understood to have been low key. This was a result of the two’s families refusal to bless the marriage.

Both families reportedly declined to take part in wedding negotiations after the man and the mother-in-law approached them saying they wanted to solemnise their ‘illicit’ relationship.

Despite the setback, the two would not allow anyone to flout their plans and went on to get married.

From 2010 to December last year, the two were living as husband and wife. However, after the mandied, things took a downward trend for the mother-in-law c*m-wife. Sources said the woman was barred from the funeral by her husband’s relatives who vehemently told her that they did not recognise her relationship with their son.

“She was thrown out. Anyway who would blame them? They were very right in doing so. What kind of a relationship is that,” blasted the source.

It is said the woman was also barred from attending the burial at the man’s rural home. Our news crew finally got hold of Magaraszadza’s brother who identified himself as Joseph Magarasadza. He confirmed that his late brother was involved in a love relationship with his mother-in-law which he described as ‘illegal’.

“No such thing can be allowed to happen in our society. Both parents refused to take part in lobola negotiations after my brother and the woman said they wanted to get married,” he said.

Joseph said contrary to reports that the woman was banned from the funeral, she had actually made the decision herself.

“We had a meeting with her and her brother and that is when she said she would not be at the funeral because people were saying thing about her. No one stopped her from attending the funeral,” he said.

In an attempt to get a comment from the once a ‘mother-in-law’, a woman who answered the phonesaid the issue was not for public consumption.

We note and condemn the prevailing adverse legal and social environment that most LGBT now have to face in Nigeria, being criminalised for their segxwal orientation and being made a target for harassment and violent assault fuelled by the on-going debates by the nation’s parliament on criminalizing homosegxwal acts.

Instead of being singled out for harassment and prosecution, what this community deserves is support and access to segxwal health services thatthey lack as citizens of this country. The LGBT community remain a high risk group to HIV/AIDS infection, yet it is a community that has been denied of all access to life saving HIV/AIDS services. We suggest that our parliamentarians should devote equal energy at fishing out and punishing our treasury thieves who are doing moreharm to the continued survival of our nation instead of dissipating energy on an issue that borders on private morality.

The study, Gone But Not Forgotten, is one of the first to look at whether the circumstances in which someone loses their virginity have lasting consequences, the Daily Mail reported.

The US researchers asked 331 young men and women about how they lost their virginity, including whether they felt scared, pressured, guilty or regretful.

They were also asked about how connected they felt to their partner, including whether they felt respected and loved, and how they felt afterwards.

The volunteers, who answered the questions anonymously, were then asked to fill in an online diary detailing any s*xual experiences they had over the next fortnight.

They were also asked how they would rate their s*xual relationships overall.

In more than two-thirds of cases, the volunteers said they were in a relationship when they lost their virginity.

Analysis of their answers showed that those who were most emotionally satisfied the first time still found their s*x lives the most fulfilling. The same was true of physical satisfaction.

A better first time also tended to lead to fewer feelings of disappointment.

A Las Vegas man with a rare condition (scrotal lymphedema) which makes his scrotum grow big, has bluntly refused to undergo surgery that could relieve himof his heavy scrotum.

Wesley Warren Jr’s scrotum has grown up to 458kg (100 pounds), through the years.
Reports state that he refused the offer to undergo treatment that would cost millions of dollars, because he has to give up his rights to the story.

Warren was offered help by a famous Dr Oz, of the Dr Oz show and a regular on the Oprah Winfrey show, Oz reportedly offered to pay for his treatment in the best medical hospital on conditions that his show will keep the rights to tell the story.


But he hasn’t gotten back to Oz because he states that Howard Stern wants him on the show again.

Warren told the Las Vegas Review-Journal in October about the pain and humiliation of carrying the deformed genitals. He said he suffered from deep bouts of depression and health complications.

He wears special pants that cover his giant scrotum when he goes out in the public and his penis is buried deep in a way that he pees on himself.

Warren rubbishes the claims that he won't get surgery because he doesn't want to lose the fame he's garnered because of his rare condition , which is caused by an excess of watery fluid collecting around his testicles.

"Who would want to live like this?" he said. "I just don't want to die during the operation."

The surgery is complicated and it carries the risk, amongothers, that his penis and testicles could have to be completely removed if surgeons can't stop the bleeding, there’s a possibility that he can die during the surgery.
