1  Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / Re: Muslim Youths In Nigeria Crucify A Cat On The Cross Like Jesus Christ (Protest?) on: 17-09-2012 09:19 AM
Whoever presented this data as the work of Muslims coinciding with the recent protest is nothing but a malicious propagandist.

I have seen that very photo posted on another website a few years back and no one pointed these perpetrators as Muslim so it's way too convenient now to start saying this is the work of Muslims. The first time I saw this photo years back it was actually claimed that these people were actually "Christians"...whether that claim is even true or false, should non-Christians start demonising Christianity for the sake of an allegation just like some have done with Muslims and Islam?

The recent protests that have occurred involving certain Muslim communities are appalling and inexcusable but does that justify spreading false claims abut Islam/Muslims?
Every allegation levied against Muslims is accepted automatically without questioning or thinking critically only because it correlates with certain people's narrow stereotype about Muslims or Islam.

For the record I'm not even a Muslim but the very first time I saw that photo years back I held the thought that religion in Nigeria should seriously be regulated and I still hold on to that notion firmly today. Clearly religion is not working in Nigeria where ignorance is rampant.

I'm actually more surprised by whoever thought this cooked up story was newsworthy to feature on the front page when all it does is fan the flames and isn't even verified.

Such a sad and despicable story but just because the culprits are Muslims doesn't necessarily mean their deplorable act was inspired by Islam.
People are deliberately misinterpreting this news in order to abuse Islam because the miscreants happen to be Muslim. However this sick act is tied to a sick culture that sadly exists within some Pakistani communities (“honour killing”).

Furthermore some people who call themselves “Christians” commit heinous acts but it doesn't automatically mean that those despicable acts committed are a reflection of the Christian faith. Smh.

RIP to the victim.
3  Forum / Relationships & Romance / Polygamous Men and Men with Different Baby Mamas - Any difference? on: 30-07-2012 08:32 PM
Is there a difference between a man with different baby mamas and a polygamous man?

Despite the differences in the family structure of both men what essentially separates the characteristics of both men?

The ring is not important but the symbolism is, however some people put more emphasis on the ring...personally I’d rather not have a ring. It's not important to me.

So there is a God After all? Bad news for them that think the world came about from a mysterious big bang from some particles, nobel award winning scientists has recently disclosed that science is only able to answer about 4% of the question relating to creation and universe and there is certainly many mysteries that remain unsolved. Could this "Mystery be God?" does this means that there is a good? watch video below:...

Interesting video. However just because Aleksey Filippenko has humbly and courageously admitted that science currently has perhaps only satisfied approximately 4% of what is known about the universe today (something that religion could never concede instead using "God" to fill in the gaps) doesn’t mean that that which is unknown equates to unequivocal evidence as to the existence of god.
Science is not complacent and thus continually seeks so surely the gap in knowledge will narrow over time.

Science fundamentally tries to understand the material world not the spiritual which has no apparatus to review it objectively. However if there is a god the next question will ultimately be - does such God correspond to any particular known god?

Which leads me to ask; how can anybody be so certain in great detail as to what the spiritual world actually entails when only 4% of our physical world is known?

However I do not believe science to be the only guiding force but to call another person a “fool” just because they so happen not to believe in the existence of a “God” is over the top.
