When this picture (above) of warring actresses, Clarion Chukwura and AGN President Ibinabo Fiberesima went viral few days ago, many people concluded that they have reconciled.

However, in a phone conversation with Punch, Clarion said her issue with Ibinabo still stands. She said the picture was taken at the AMAA when Ibinabo congratulated her for winning the Best Actress award.

"When I got the award, I came and met my team, The Royal Art Academy, and we all hugged and took pictures. As I was going back to my seat, Ibinabo got up and hugged me and beckoned the photographers to take our picture. As I stepped away, Rita Dominic also got up and hugged me and also asked the press photographer to take picture.
The following day, someone called me and told me about the picture. I was surprised" - she said

But Ibinabo had said she does not have any issue with the lady.

"The familyof Justice Chukwudife Oputa wishes to announce the passing to glory of the eminent jurist and retired Justice of the Supreme Court of Nigeria at the age of 96 years. He passed on peacefully on Sunday afternoon May 4th, 2014 after recovering from a brief illness. Funeral announcements will soon be released by the family.

A hostage negotiator who is allegedly in contact with the Boko Haram kidnappers of the over 200 Borno school girls, has reportedly revealed that their safe release is “within reach,” and that the terrorists are demanding a ransom.

The negotiator, who allegedly spoke with Channel 4 News,stated that although the girls are safe at the moment, that could change if the military attempts to launch a rescue mission.

Stating that the kidnappers want a ransom, the source said, “It would not be hard to engineer a deal. It looks like they want to release them.”

A two-storey building under construction on Sea Beach lane at Oworonsoki, a suburb in Lagos state collapsed today April 24th leaving 4 children and 6 adults with various degrees of injury. Reports say the children were on the site to help with menial jobs when the building gave way.
The 10 victims were immediately rushed to the General Hospital Gbagada where they're all receiving treatment.

P-Square's publicist, Bayo Adetu denied the reports making round that P-Square is on the verge of splitting after a physical fight during rehearsal.

According to Linda Ikeji, source close to the pop singing duo confirmed to her that there's actually fire on the mountain.

Below is what the source told her:

     "Yes they fought this week. Peter even left a mark on Paul's left eye. But the fight wasn't during rehearsal, which rehearsal? Peter has refused to do anything P-Square for weeks now. Forget that he was at his brother's wedding, things are not good between them right now. They were even invited to perform at president Jonathan's wedding but they didn't go. Peter wants out. He said Paul and Jude are sidelining him. That if they push out 200 songs, 199 would be songs Paul did. That people are now calling him a dancer in P-Square. Peter is really angry. The Ogun State Police Command has arrested a middle aged man, for molesting a woman and beheading her two year old boy in Ofada town in Obafemi/Owode local government area of the State.

The suspect, identified as ‎Mamodu Bashir Ibrahim, reportedly trailed the woman into the bush where she had gone to ease herself, pounced on her despite the baby tied to her back and dragged both into an uncompleted building. Police believe the man then raped the woman and stabbed her. He was also alleged to have severed the boy’s head.

PMNews reports that someone who smelled foul play, trailed the suspect and his captives into the building. The suspect was said to have initially escaped. The woman was rescued. But the effort came too late for the boy. He was dead and his severed head had been taken away.

When he was arrested, the suspect led men from the Criminal Investigation Department, CID of the State Police Command to the scene to locate the head, but it could not be found again. Only the knife with which the suspect perpetrated the act was discovered at the scene.

The Police Public Relations Officer, DSP, Olumuyiwa Adejobi said the suspect was arrested through the help of some community leaders, who monitored him after he fled the area to Ibafo, a nearby community, immediately he committed the crime.

Adejobi added that further interrogation of the suspect revealed that he had sold the head of the boy to a woman in Ibadan, adding that the detectives from the State Police Command are on the trail of the buyer.

Speaking with journalists at the scene of the crime, which was filled with blood stains, the suspect confirmed he raped the woman, killed her son and severed his head which he claimed he threw away into the bush. He also informed the detectives that he has an accomplice who resides in Ibadan.
