on: 31-05-2014 07:45 AM
| When this picture (above) of warring actresses, Clarion Chukwura and AGN President Ibinabo Fiberesima went viral few days ago, many people concluded that they have reconciled. However, in a phone conversation with Punch, Clarion said her issue with Ibinabo still stands. She said the picture was taken at the AMAA when Ibinabo congratulated her for winning the Best Actress award. "When I got the award, I came and met my team, The Royal Art Academy, and we all hugged and took pictures. As I was going back to my seat, Ibinabo got up and hugged me and beckoned the photographers to take our picture. As I stepped away, Rita Dominic also got up and hugged me and also asked the press photographer to take picture. The following day, someone called me and told me about the picture. I was surprised" - she said But Ibinabo had said she does not have any issue with the lady. http://www.gistmetro.com/2014/05/my-issue-with-ibinabo-still-stands.html | | |

Forum / The Buzz Central / "Beverly Osu & I Are Living Together" - Bimp Reveals |
on: 4-05-2014 06:56 PM
| Here is what he told Punch in a recent interview; "I am still discovering Nigeria. It is not easy for a foreigner to just come into the business. But I am lucky because I had the exposure of Big Brother Africa. I was committed to someone.I found out that she was cheating on me. I did not cheat on her or engage in any other relationship. The reason was not because of her, I also did it to respect myself. I always said that if I found out she was cheating; there was no way I would be with her because I would be unable to trust her.It would have been two years in March. I was in Nigeria when I found out. I had plans to bring her to Nigeria." continue... Are you thinking of dating a Nigerian now that you are in Nigeria? No. You must be the first person who is not asking me if I am with Beverly. I thought she was dating someone and you are just nice friends? Would you be surprised if Beverly and I started dating? I won’t be surprised, are you thinking of dating Beverly? I don’t have a plan. You can never plan emotions. Now that she is living in your house, don’t you have feelings for her? I and Beverly were in the same bed for three months. We woke up together. That’s because you were committed to somebody else at the time That’s true. How are you coping with Nigerian dishes? I like ofe nsala. Beverly’s mother makes the best ofe nsala. I cannot eat amala and okro. I like rice, plantain and goat pepper soup. Not Surprise anyway.. http://www.gistmetro.com/2014/05/beverly-osu-i-are-living-together-bimp.html | | |

Forum / The Buzz Central / Genevieve Nnaji Also Lends Her Support To #BringOurGirlsBack Campaign |
on: 1-05-2014 10:20 PM
| Celebrities are lending their supports on the trending #BringOurGirlsBack campaign and screen goddess, Gennny is no exception. Read what she wrote on her Facebook page below.... I’ve always been of the belief that less words and more action speaks greater volumes. But in this case of no foreseen action, I believe some talking is in order. The abduction of these young girls goes against everything that we as Africans fought for, for so many years. What we as Nigerians have been faced with and have been fighting over these past years. Not to mention what we women and mothers still fight against till this very day. Kidnapping, abduction, slavery, child bride and the complete disrespect and disregard for human life and rights is…in my opinion, every wrong that seems to be getting away here. Reports say that our babies are being shipped off to neighboring countries, distributed and married off. How could this be when we have appointed men to protect us? Why are we called giants if we can’t trample over ants? Enough of these setbacks!! There are way too many distractions for this Nation to achieve its true potential. It is time to respond and to act!! I know it’s not easy being a leader of a country but like some people love to point out to me…just when they are about to sympathize with the challenges that comes with being in my position and then remember the perks, YOU KNOW WHAT YOU SIGNED UP FOR. Please we implore, we plead and we beg,.. Save our girls! Help bring the girls back home by doing as little as signing this petition -> http://wh.gov/lf1ke #bringbackourgirls Signed Genevieve Nnaji MFR http://www.gistmetro.com/2014/05/genevieve-nnaji-also-lends-her-support.html | | |

Forum / The Buzz Central / P-Square On The Verge Of Spliting & Dividing Properties | Find Out The Cause Her |
on: 19-04-2014 08:08 PM
| P-Square's publicist, Bayo Adetu denied the reports making round that P-Square is on the verge of splitting after a physical fight during rehearsal. According to Linda Ikeji, source close to the pop singing duo confirmed to her that there's actually fire on the mountain. Below is what the source told her: "Yes they fought this week. Peter even left a mark on Paul's left eye. But the fight wasn't during rehearsal, which rehearsal? Peter has refused to do anything P-Square for weeks now. Forget that he was at his brother's wedding, things are not good between them right now. They were even invited to perform at president Jonathan's wedding but they didn't go. Peter wants out. He said Paul and Jude are sidelining him. That if they push out 200 songs, 199 would be songs Paul did. That people are now calling him a dancer in P-Square. Peter is really angry. He's even the cool and friendly one between the brothers but he is not himself right now. And then he accused his brother Jude of disrespecting his wife. Peter and Jude haven't spoken in weeks. Peter said Jude has been disrespecting Lola for years and he was done tolerating the BS. In fact Peter said that not only is Lola older than Jude, but that she's also pregnant and Jude was upsetting a pregnant woman. If you notice Jude didn't attend their wedding last year despite the fact that he was in Nigeria. Jude asked Peter why he didn't marry Lola when their mother was alive. Jude said it's his wife that is pushing him and they will need to pray for him. In fact nobody in the Okoye family likes Lola and they didn't support the marriage. The brothers are really angry at each other. The police is even involved. This week, either the commissioner of police or someone from his office visited their house. The worst part is that they have invited lawyer to come and share property o. They want to share everything. The lawyer was at their house I think on Thursday. Peter said no more P-Square joint ventures. You know they own everything together, including a house in Omole, Parkview and Atlanta. Except something is done fast P-Square is about to be finished. But I know that people have been intervening and begging them to reconsider, that they are the biggest musical duo in Africa. Nobody will benefit if they split. The power to make money is in their togetherness. It is Jude people are begging to keep the brothers together, but after what he tweeted yesterday, it may truly be over for P-Square. Jude has really tried for his brothers, for him to give up may mean it's over for them. He practically put his entire life on hold for his brothers. Even sold his first car to shoot their first video but all that is about go come to an end like he tweeted. The only thing that can save the situation is if by a miracle Jude and Lola settle their differences but I don't see that happening." http://www.gistmetro.com/2014/04/p-square-on-verge-of-spliting-dividing.html | | |

| The Ogun State Police Command has arrested a middle aged man, for molesting a woman and beheading her two year old boy in Ofada town in Obafemi/Owode local government area of the State. The suspect, identified as Mamodu Bashir Ibrahim, reportedly trailed the woman into the bush where she had gone to ease herself, pounced on her despite the baby tied to her back and dragged both into an uncompleted building. Police believe the man then raped the woman and stabbed her. He was also alleged to have severed the boy’s head. PMNews reports that someone who smelled foul play, trailed the suspect and his captives into the building. The suspect was said to have initially escaped. The woman was rescued. But the effort came too late for the boy. He was dead and his severed head had been taken away. When he was arrested, the suspect led men from the Criminal Investigation Department, CID of the State Police Command to the scene to locate the head, but it could not be found again. Only the knife with which the suspect perpetrated the act was discovered at the scene. The Police Public Relations Officer, DSP, Olumuyiwa Adejobi said the suspect was arrested through the help of some community leaders, who monitored him after he fled the area to Ibafo, a nearby community, immediately he committed the crime. Adejobi added that further interrogation of the suspect revealed that he had sold the head of the boy to a woman in Ibadan, adding that the detectives from the State Police Command are on the trail of the buyer. Speaking with journalists at the scene of the crime, which was filled with blood stains, the suspect confirmed he raped the woman, killed her son and severed his head which he claimed he threw away into the bush.
