| Tell me within Nigerian laws, he can sue them for false arrest and imprisonment. He should be rehabilitated with some decent amount of money from the state Government or he should take them to court.
Tell me that, there are young talented Nigerian lawyers willing to take up his case pro-Bono and mostly likely share a percentage of the award if he wins....

| I am surprise and disappointed that lots of people believed these lies from the OP and ignorantly piled on against the Catholic Church.
Use your heard and do a little research, this is not true.
If you google, it is strange all the hits on this are coming from 9ja blogs. It looks like all the 9ja blogs have RSS to a major blog from where they get their fake news and lies and replicate them without verifying all in a bid to get traffic that will increase their ad revenues...
FYI: am Pentecostal and not a Catholic.

| The video support the lady's version of the story, she did not break any law as alleged by the Governor. She was not selling anything by the road side, all her things were wrapped in boxes or bags and sealed when they were taken away from her.
She lady pleaded that, she was dropped there by a vehicle and had to take the things across traffic to the other side and there was no way a wheelbarrow can help her from that spot.
Even if she was adjoined to have broken the law, the government should not be the Prosecutor, Judge and Jury over her own laws; that is jungle justice. This is no different that the MOB arresting a theft and setting him a flame, they are all jungle justice...because a single individual or set of people decide to be Judge and Jury.
The Governor broke the law, by depraving this lady her due process of the law.

| I weep for those who are saying these stereotypes are true...all in the name of hiding under the 'truth is bitter'.
Agree, there are crimes and frauds in Nigeria, but the only part of her quote that is true is the second paragraph, which is about the statistic of immigration from Nigeria...
The first part is pure stereotype...before you start flaming me, please look up the meaning of 'stereotype'.
1. "Nigeria lead the world in criminal enterprises"...we all know that this statement is false. 2. "Every level of Nigerian society is criminal"...This is also false, we still have many honest Nigerians, most likely including yourself. 3. "The Smart ones run internet scams"..False...we have smart Nigerians that are Doctors, Professors, Engineers, Pilots, Scientist, etc they do not run internet scam.. 4. "The stupid ones engage in piracy and kidnapping"...I know some stupid Nigerians that are not engaged in either. 5. "At the University of Lagos, you can major in Credit Card Fraud"..There is no course like that at the University of Lagos.
Ann Coulter is an empty barrel, she is among the GOP empty barrels in the US that have a loud mouth and makes absolute zero sense when they open them. They prey on a portion of the America Society that strives on conspiracy to sell their books and appearances. She can not hold intelligent conversation...

Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / Re: NEMESIS: Lady Caught In The Act With Best friend's husband Got Stripped Na*ked |
on: 14-11-2013 04:19 AM
| The title is misleading, from both pictures it does not appear she was caught in the act...
With the guy in side the house in the first picture trying to pull the lady in and also the woman from behind in the second picture trying to protect her clothing plus the expression on the woman's face gave it out that the lady been stripped leaves in this house and these people are trying to shield her from the scorned lady.
In the first picture, the nose of the scorned lady is bloody most likely, freshly gotten from her husband at home when she confronted him and she took the anger to this lady, looking for a revenge.

Forum / Relationships & Romance / Re: Nigerians Abroad: Answering The Question "Where Are You From" |
on: 29-10-2013 11:44 PM
| I think it is a valid question or conversation starter when two Nigerians meet abroad....I do that all the time and I willingly answer as well...My parents are from two states in Nigeria and I give out both stat even down to LGA and town is the other person care.
All these is despite the fact that, I never grew up or stay extendedly in those States....
These is the only time some of us abroad meet a brother or a sister from Nigeria and it is worthwhile to forgo all else and discuss our heritage and what binds us together.
