You are absolutely right, our standard of measurement is the word of God, not the deeds or the words of the so called man of God. Don't be surprised that on judgement day many of them may not even make it to heaven.

If TB Joshua did not join the league of affluent pastors in Nigeria, that does not make him a worshipper of Satan.
Remember Jesus Christ response to John when he said that the disciples saw someone driving out demons in your name and they told him to stop because he was not one of them; in the book of Mark 9:38-41 (38 Now John answered Him, saying, “Teacher, we saw someone who does not follow us casting out demons in Your name, and we forbade him because he does not follow us.” 39 But Jesus said, “Do not forbid him, for no one who works a miracle in My name can soon afterward speak evil of Me. 40 For he who is not against us is on our side. 41 For whoever gives you a cup of water to drink in My name, because you belong to Christ, assuredly, I say to you, he will by no means lose his reward). NKJV

Truly he is the only pastor in Nigeria, that does the work of the ministry as Jesus Christ did. Very humble even unto death, not like those that boast about buying a second private jet during Covid19.
The Bible said by their fruits you shall know them Luke 6:43-45
(43 “For a good tree does not bear bad fruit, nor does a bad tree bear good fruit. 44 For every tree is known by its own fruit. For men do not gather figs from thorns, nor do they gather grapes from a bramble bush. 45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil. For out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.) NKJV

Rest at the bossom of the Lord TB Joshua. You have fought the good fight, and you have finished the race, and have kept the faith even until death took you home.

Why we need a Change
The level of corruption in this country is at an alarming rate so much that it daily eats up on the fabrics of our society. And if nothing is done the nation is on the verge of collapse.
Our political game masters have perfected the manipulation game of using all opportunistic means to deceive the poor masses of our nation.
From using tribal divides to religious sentiments, to continue to enslave the people. And if that doesn’t work on us, they use age or educational level divides.
But let’s face it, who is fooling who?

During the era of Gowon, when UDOJI money was been given to all Nigerians, nobody cares who is sitting at the driver seat. Everyone can feel the effect of their nation working for them.
But today because of the greed and selfishness of our leaders, many in the nation are wallowing in poverty and hopelessness. And has equally lost their interest in building a strong united nation.
As a young Nigeria, I wept bitterly on Tuesday August 27, 1985 when the government of Buhari/Tunde Idiagbon was removed from power by coup-d’état of the then Chief of staff defence headquarters Ibrahim Babangida. My comment then to my boss at my work place was I quote “Nigeria is finished”.
Nearly 30 years later, Nigeria is yet to find its right navigation path. The country started to decline on its God given destiny as Babangida single handedly destroy the foundation laid by the visionary team of Buhari/Tunde Idiagbon government.

My fellow Nigerians, let’s face the fact, no one need to have a PhD from Harvard to know what an average normal human being needs. For the well-being of any man three things are essential (food, shelter, and clothing), the rest can fall in if you really work hard for it. The white man understand this and that’s why they setup a state funded welfare system, where the have not and the unfortunate benefits from. But in Nigeria of today, it’s every man for himself, apart from the politicians and their cohorts that are looting the treasury, no Nigerian can boast of any benefit from their government.

Most of our leaders know this, for they travelled far and wide and they see and know how the white man run it’s state of affairs; but for the greed in them and for the type of society that we live in, they choose to ignore the truth and reality.
It’s time we start to look inward to ourselves and realize that “a man’s worth is not in the abundance of what he possesses”. At the end of it all according to Ecclesiastes “vanity upon vanity all is vanity”. You were born empty and for sure we will all die empty” and leave behind those things that we gather here on earth. It will all end up in a 6 feet shallow grave, where you will be all alone by yourself and your creator.

On the coming election a change is imminent for or survival; and must and should takes place now. It is paramount that we try new helmsman to be in the captain seat to steer the Nigeria ship in a new direction. Let try new ideas different from the current one that’s not working for the nation. With what we currently have, the nation’s ship is slowly sinking and it needs to be rescue fast without delay.

As to the alternate option which might not be the best because of certain concerns that was raised by many, beloved I strongly believe it’s worth giving a try for the next four years. After the end of their tenure we can then do our evaluation and use our votes to deliver the appropriate justice for them.
Let’s face the fact, on the age concern of Buhari, he will not be the oldest African president on record, Nelson Mandela became South African president at a ripe age of 76 years old. And Beji Caid Essebsi of Tunisia was recently elected president of Tunisia on December 22, 2014 at a golden age of 88 years old. So to say the least Buhari for Nigeria is not too old at 72 considering he is in good condition of health. And couple with fact that the level of corruption in the younger generation is at a decadent rate (just look at the likes of Emefiele CBN governor, so corrupt to the teeth after being in office for only 6 months).

On his educational qualification, Buhari life experiences and being a former number one citizen, he can definitely get the job done. All he is probably aiming for is to write his name in Nigeria good history book. He will not be hungry for money as the Jonathan generation that are in haste to deep their hands in the nation’s treasury to build mansions and stack away for their young children.
Buhari can communicate with the Western world in English and does have an IQ of a responsible man. So that will not be an hindrance to his performance. After all John Major who was a school dropout, served as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and Leader of the Conservative Party from 1990 to 1997.

All he needs to do is have good trustworthy people around him that can get the job done and as the leader he can monitor their excesses. And definitely will not be afraid to step on corrupt toes that need to be dealt with, an ability that is lacking on President Jonathan side. After all OBJ did it successfully throughout his tenure as president of Nigeria.

Well-meaning Nigerians should wake up and don’t allow any party or celebrity to manipulate you for your vote. And do not sell your future and that of your children to politicians who bribe pastors to manipulate you on their pulpit to vote for them. The money they are given you does not belong to them alone, it was stolen from you in the first place and you should not allow them to sweet talk you into selling your birth right.

Nigeria is a great nation and I believe will remain one united nation, when and only we have the right selfless leadership.
