What's the president and his law enforcement agencies doing as regards this wanton waste of precious lives? The government should embrace the offer of foreign assistance to combat this menace and stop expressing worries while dead  bodies keep piling. I want to believe that some who asked  that the offer be  rejected are also involved one way or another with the groups committing these atrocities.   

The fundamental principle in every religion is a code of moral ethics. The application and elevation of these moral laws to such a religious significance as to punish unbelievers holds a moral flaw. Why is Northern Mali such a big issue for a military campaign? The U S and the U N  are rather leaving things too late because of consultatations while those terrorists are consolidating their power.
