The most corrupt politicians Nigeria ever bred!!! The worst is OBJ. His now frolicking with Buhari and now Atiku. He's doing this so his oil-blocks won't be transferred to some else. Just look around, of all ex-presidents, he is the only one who still visits the ASO ROCK. Other's are busy with their private businesses and family, while BABA is still hanging around the old-block like a student who failed exam and refused to go home to avoid the canes of his parents. Please can someone ask him to go and be with his grand-children? foolish old punk!!!
22  Forum / Politics / Re: ''Patience Jonathan Presurising INEC To Rig Rivers Poll'' – Rotimi Amaechi on: 10-04-2015 10:01 AM
Ameachi is suffering from psychological defeatism. You were rigged into power as a PDP governor with the use of thugs. I think the law of karma is at work here. Its simple, let the north have APC and the south PDP, why cry awful. Its a shame that Ameachi now employs all means whatsoever to stop the election until his Mallam takes over power. Please tell him that if the governorship election is not held as stated on Saturday by INEC on the 11th, Rivers State will cease to have a state governor for the rest of the administration of his illiterate mallam. Sometimes I wonder if Ameachi is really educated, cause his actions and speeches doesn't reflect so. A governor who threatened that if APC doesn't win, they will form a parallel govt. Such statements shouldn't come from someone who is educated and a seating governor. That is treason, and the punishment is life imprison or death sentence. I think the government of Jonathan should have jailed him for such utterances in the public domain. Ameachi is a bloody wanker!!!

Charity begins at home!!!! If this is true, then its absurd that a man of his calibre has failed his family. As such can not be saddled with the position he is vying for.
24  Forum / The Buzz Central / Re: “He Hid His Pain To Avoid Being Bullied”-Tonto’s Moving Tribute To Muna Obiekwe on: 22-01-2015 11:51 PM
Tonto, that was well said. I have read some of your write-ups, tributes, birthday wishes and so on, but this very tribute to Muna is well said and concise. It's time for us all to start showing some love, show and give some one a hand. Ask questions about your neighbour, tell some one of your worries and pains, share problems rather than nursing it yourself. Remember problems shared is half-solved. The time for us to stop hating and hurting other people is now. Lets be our brothers keeper, and stop this North and South divide, tribalism, or religious divide that is destroying our father land. Nigeria is one, irrespective of language, tribe, religion, colour, age etc.

Guilt, shame, regret, and sorrow are all indicators that we have unfinished business that we needs to address. We need to address these factors now because many Nigerians suffer these indicators. It is time for all Nigerians to start treating fellow Nigerians with LOVE. If you feel GUILT about something or the past, you can fix it by doing something differently the next time or saying sorry or thankyou to someone you've hurt in the past. If you feel ASHAME about something or ashame about yourself, its okay to feel ashame because we are human and humans have pride. But the best way to heal shame is to bring it to light. Since we are as sick as our secrets, the way to heal shame is to tell it to ourself, most trusted family or friend. In my view shame is a horrible and destructive feelings that can kill everything in us. The day you keep shame to yourself same day you start dying, So speak up and stay alive. Do you REGRET something? Its Great to regret, remember the past is good for two things: to learn from and to enjoy. We learn to be better people from our past mistake, probably our regrets. So do something differently next time and avoid regrets. Do you feel SORROW about something? Well, sorrow ia always around us because its a natural thing that we all must die sometime, or someday. Sorrow is the due we pay when love ones dies, like MUNA...The antidote for sorrow is to share love to everyone around us and to the bereaved families. share your love and excitment to those in pains and agony, especially to MUNA'S CHILDREN AND FAMILY. They need our support!!! REST IN PEACE MUNA, MAY THE LORD COMFORT YOUR FAMILY NOW AND ALWAYS!!!
25  Forum / The Buzz Central / Re: Parents Should Beware! List Of Internet Acronyms Used By Teens On Social Media on: 17-12-2014 01:27 AM
These are codes used by teens in the US and UK. They mostly code virtually everything to beat suspecting parents. The reality is that coding has caused a lot of academic set-back for these children, especially in the UK. Teachers complain of children not concentrating and regularly texting while in school. No wonder a lot of these teens failed in their GCSC (WEAC, GCE  equivalent). I urge people not to be distracted by these so-called abbreviation and maintain our normal way of proper typing and writing. However, parents should watch out for suspicious children and wards in regular use of phones and laptops and the likes.

26  Forum / The Buzz Central / Re: “I Did A DNA Test And Was Told Two Of The Children Are Not Mine" - Femi Kuti on: 28-11-2014 02:14 PM
Well it is out it is out, there's no need for us to cry over the milk that Femi spilled. My stand is that he should continue to take play a fatherly role to the children.  Under educational law, a parent must be a biological parent. On the other hand, under healthcare law, a parent is anyone with parental responsibility, regardless of biological link with the child(ren). After-all, people adopt children without knowing their biological parents, and that's what I want Femi to know. He would have had a personal meeting with the children's mother and sort this whole thing out, rather than engaging the media. Establishing a child’s biological origin is recognize by psychologists (and judges) as highly important for a child’s sense of identity. However, before anyone pursues this route, they should fully consider the ramifications for everybody concerned, particularly for the child(ren), of both a positive and a negative result. You may be able to handle it, but there may be a whole range of people affected – siblings too.  The truth as to biological parentage may be comforting but on the other hand, could be devastating.

It's a shame that INEC and other electoral bodies in our beloved country has degenerated to a point that no body cares when policies and laws are disobeyed. It's also a shame that people are no longer screened before running for electoral positions in our country. I do know that in electioneering campaigns MANIFESTO'S are the only tool that helps someone seeking for elective position to proof his or her point for contesting an election. Simply put a Manifesto covers:

a published declaration of your policies. It highlights how one is going to change the anomalies in the area where one is contesting an election. Manifestos tends to precisely educate the people on how one is going to imbibe due process in the constitution of the community in which one is contesting to effect policies that will impact positively to the people. How far can I go explaining what manifesto means. It is wrong for contestants to give monetary incentives to the people. In fact it's a corrupt practice to indulge in such. Automatic disqualification and prosecution is meted to contestants in a democratic setting. But it's normal in Nigeria for such act to be practiced. How can an elected person impact positively to the people after given monetary incentives to the electorate before an election? This ugly act is one of the reasons why corruption is in our school curricular today. Corruption is taught in our schools and even in churches and mosques. Can Nigeria sustain its democracy? I think we are still in the doldrums. We need a complete revolution.

When evil is allowed to prevail in the land for too long, it eventually becomes a custom and culture of the people. The government has failed us woefully. The annoying thing is that, the same corrupt politicians are still seeking political positions and other public positions without the people reacting. I have said it before and I will say it again, how can a few ragtag individuals hold our military down while the government fold its hands. It beats my imagination. I wonder what will happen if Boko Haram secures a Jet or Drone. And I know they will surely secure one soon, then and only then will it dawn on us that we are finish. Nigeria is one. What affects the eye also affects the ear, nose and mouth and even the head!!! A stitch in time saves nine.
30  Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / Re: [Full Video] Shekau Debunks Death Rumours Addresses The Nation In New Video on: 3-10-2014 11:56 AM
Why does the new video of this monster border Nigerians? Have we not heard about posthumous videos or Holograms?
There has been a surge of fury over the actual video itself, with people claiming it differs from his usual style. It had elements of Cirque du Soleil and weird in terms of date and time. As we all know, Shekau is always keeping tracks of his activities with dates, but in these very video there was none. Shekau had already filmed, choreographed and directed & produced this video himself before his death, knowing that his death is near. We should expect more and more of this. This monster is a good director and a film character who knows how to inject fear on Nigerians. If you look at the video, it didn't have the usual fitness for Shekau's video presence, though the background of the animation had a slight resemblance to the previous video he did when he picked up the chibok girls. There must be a reason for this!! first, may be he intend to rule his cronies posthumously, maintain his status even in death as the commander of his ragtag boko-haram group, and importantly continue to build momentum and courage to his deceived ragtag followers in continuing his fight for an IS state. The military should continue in there effort in wiping this scourge called boko-haram. I do know its a battle difficult to win due to moles in the military and government but its a battle they must not afford to loose.

32  Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / Re: Lecturer Beaten by Immigration Officials Who Accused Him Of Being Boko Haram on: 17-05-2014 08:58 PM

This is absolutely ridiculous and heart wrenching, this very man is a lecturer at the university of calabar, infact he was my project supervisor during my final year at Unical at the department of Business Adm. A very nice lecturer who is always willing to help and assist students. A man so beautiful in soul.  I am gutted and very angry that he was treated in this manner. What on earth is happening in our beloved nation? How could he be mistaken to a member of BOKO HARAM? I wonder if the calabar branch of the NIS has now turned to checking cars in city centers, and seeking for who parked wrongly and made wrong U-turns? If that is there responsibility now, what are the police and road marshals for? Please this matter should be investigated appropriately and those responsible for this heinous crime be dealt with.

Please every one should be careful considering the fact that the country is faced with this bastardy acts of boko haram, police and other uniform personnel will take advantage and start treating people with mistaken identity. Please all should be mindful with the company they keep, avoid crowded places especially drinking joints and parks. We pray to Almighty God for peace to prevail in our country again!!!
