Until we begin to visualize and conceptualize every bit of unrighteousness as an acid which should be avoided either for its destructive impact on the surface of human body or the torture and subsequent death it will cause if taken inside the human system then we will be able to flee from every form of unrighteousness and immorality especially pornography, masturbation, adultery, fornication, sugar-daddy/mummy, abortion, contraceptive use/sell/production/promotion, Lesbianism, homosegxwality, bestiality (having sex with animals), drunkenness, indecent dressing, lust, lies, unforgiving spirit, anger, hatred, deceit, questionable silence in the face of evil which continue to hunt the peace of our world as well as heat up the punishment we will face sometime and somewhere bearing in mind that no sinner will go unpunished (Prov.11:21). Not just fulfilling the external request of every altar-call and attending sacrament of penance/reconciliation without honest resolutions and decisions on how to stop insulting the spirit of Grace dwelling within the soul.

JUST TRY THESE QUESTIONS:
if your mother were to be gay and your father gay would you have been in existence?
if God wanted gay lifestyle in the world he created {'the world and all that dwells thereof belongs to God' Ps.24:1} would he not have made Adam and Eve the same sex?
what is happiness when your natural instincts are at war within you bc of your segxwal orientation?
just get it right, that you grew up in a lesbian environment does not make it right even those who worship GOD in their own way are said to be wrong ['there is a way that seemeth right unto a man but the end thereof leads to destruction' Prov.14:12]
that you believe in something does not make it right
that you do not believe in something does not make it wrong or non-existential
Try to get the balance
CONSISTENT RIGHTEOUSNESS DEVOID OF COMPROMISE WITHOUT WHICH NO ONE WILL SEE GOD {HEBREWS 12:14}
THIS IS POSSIBLE IF WE ACCEPT JESUS AS OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS, REDEEMER AND SAVIOR (1 COR.1:30) THEN
WALK OUT OUR SALVATION IN FEAR AND TREMBLING [PHIL.2:12]

there is no need for altercations on this issue.
According to the injunctions of JESUS in John 20:22-23 "Receive the Holy Spirit, whose sins you forgive have been forgiven and whose sins you retain have been retained..." this function of reposing God's forgiveness on the people of GOD was given to the Apostles of old and successively given to the catholic priests of today who still maintain the chain of unbroken apostolic traditions however this function and anointing does not stop them from being humans who have inside them the ability to commit sin and also ask God for forgiveness through confessing their sins to God through their fellow priest even the Pope goes for confession to priests. The catholic church does not see their priests as GOD or JESUS who does not sin rather ministers of THE WORD as well as the BODY and BLOOD of JESUS CHRIST who also have human frailty but this weakness does not prevent them from administering on the altar just as our unrighteousness should not and does not stop us from approaching the THRONE OF GRACE {Heb.4:16}
The Pope, has not concluded this issue. It is still pending and we should not take this for quarrels.
