According to reports, former President, Olusegun Obasanjo may dump politics for evangelism. Obasanjo has joined other clerics in organising nationwide crusades a source stated.

Kayode Williams, the man behind Bishop Kayode Williams World Outreach has teamed up with the former president and Oba Adedapo Tejuoso to hold these crusades which will start from Ogbomoso.
The crusade, 'Healing Ogbomoso Land Gospel Crusade' began yesterday in Ogbomoso and will run for 5 days. Kayode Williams is an ex armed robber who repented and gave his life to Christ while in Sokoto prison. If this is true, then God be praised, lol!

Justice Ibrahim Buba of the Federal High Court, Lagos, has refused granting bail to the Speaker, Lagos State House of Assembly, Adeyemi Ikuforiji, on self recognition, instead slamming a N1 billion bail on him. The judge ordered Mr. Ikuforiji to meet the bail condition within 48 hours or be held in prison pending the determination of the corruption case against him.

Mr. Ikuforiji was re-arraigned for alleged money laundering offence, alongside his aide, Oyebode Atoyebi, before Mr. Buba; after the former judge, Okechukwu Okeke, retired from the bench.

Mr. Okeke had granted the speaker bail on self recognition.

.Com gathered that this same scenario played out in a bank in Delta State over the weekend as the branch Operations Manager of a first generation bank was arrested by police for allegedly coordinating a deadly armed robbery operation at the bank and carted away millions of Naira...
The gang had, in a commando style, succeeded in looting huge sums in both local and foreign currencies on Friday, while some bank customers and passers-by were wounded in the process.


Delta State Police command’s spokesman, Mr. Lucky Uyabeme, said “the arrested Operations Manager of the bank is helping the police in its investigation."

According to investigation, the keys to the strong room found their way to his possession. Another top staff of the bank is also a suspect as he suddenly fell sick and didn't come to work on the day of the robbery.

The police has vowed to get to the bottom of the incident and prosecute all involved.a

Sixteen-year-old Donald Ray Dokins’ short stature and baby face belie the crime he committed: the fatal shooting of a 1-year-old boy in the arms of his proud and doting father.
As he prepared to sentence the teenager, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Pat Connolly could barely contain his contempt. “You have no intestinal fortitude to sit up and look at me,” Connolly said to Dokins, who was staring at the floor, avoiding the judge’s gaze. “You have hatred in your heart that I can’t understand.”

Prosecutors say that on June 4, 2012, Dokins, a then-15-year-old gang member, rode up on a bicycle to a family gathered outside a home in Watts. He drew a revolver and opened fire, killing 14-month-old Angel Mauro Cortez Vega and wounding his 21-year-old father, Mauro Cortez. Dokins, authorities say, mistakenly believed the father was a member of a rival gang because of the color of his T-shirt.
Prosecutors charged Dokins as an adult. Connolly sentenced him to 90 years to life in prison. Before the sentencing, friends and relatives of both the victims and Dokins addressed the court. Dokins’ brother Derrick Washington described his sibling as a straight-A student who wrote poetry. Washington broke down in tears, asserting his brother’s innocence. “He’s not a monster.

An alleged rápist appeared in court with a bandage on his eyes and in his ear after his victim shot him in the face during a rápe attack.
Duane Portman Sr, 44, from Springfield, Ohio, was arrested at about 3:00 am after he allegedly grabbed a woman off the street and ráped her at gunpoint.

The victim told police that Portman took her into the Labelz 4 Less clothing store where he held her at gunpoint while ráping her. While being ráped police say the victim was able to grab the gun from Portman and shoot him in the eye.

After shooting Portman, the victim who was not identified, ran out of the store and drove herself to a nearby hospital. “When Portman was arrested he couldn’t remember who shot him or where the shooting took place,” a police office said.

The owner of the Labelz 4 Less clothing store said that Portman is a part-time employee at the store and that he works as a cleaner.

Portman donned a thick bandage over his right eye and in his ear when he pleaded not guilty to rápe and kidnapping charges.

Gist going round is that the Governor of Osun State, Rauf Aregbesola is a man with hot temper and that he lost it recently and gave his deputy, a woman older than him, a dirty slap during an argument...


But Gov Aregbesola has denied slapping Mrs. Grace Tomori, his deputy, stressing that the rumor was aimed at causing disaffection between them. Can there be smoke without fire. What is the cause of this smoke?

Reacting to the allegation, the governor said: “I have never beaten anybody in my life. In fact, I don’t beat my children, let alone beating any other person. More so, the Deputy Governor is older than me, so how do I beat an elderly person.”

“I don’t have any quarrel with my Deputy, and I can’t have any with her because I intentionally chose her and no one choose her for me. I think I can work with her and that is why I chose her. So, no differences exist between us.”

However, when asked by newsmen if Gov Aregbesola ever slapped her, .com gathered that the deputy governor simply said there relationship is cordial and that she "remain loyal to my governor".

Report is that actress Liz Da Silva enjoyed herself with three different men within short intervals, leading to her pregnancy and subsequent delivery of a baby boy. She tried to hook the pregnancy on each of the men but they all refuted her claims, for one reason or the other.
