921  Forum / The Buzz Central / Rihanna Fined $47,000 For Blowing off Court Deposition Read more: http://omggha on: 26-07-2013 09:18 PM

Rihanna just learned a hard lesson acting like an irresponsible Lindsay Lohan can cost you a LOT of money in this case $47,050.

Rihanna’s ex-accountants have been trying to get the singer to sit for a deposition in a lawsuit she filed against them. Rihanna claims they mismanaged her money and owed her millions, but the accountants claim Rihanna’s the one who’s at fault.

According to the accountants Berdon LLP Rihanna’s been blowing off deposition after deposition costing them boatloads in attorneys’ fees, so Berdon asked the judge to punish the singer.

And this month, the judge agreed, fining Rihanna $47,050 for Berdon’s legal bills.

On top of the fine, the judge also ordered Rihanna to sit for a deposition once and for all on August 28 and if she doesn’t show up, he might dismiss her case entirely.

924  Forum / The Buzz Central / P Square's Manager & Director, Jude Okoye - Why I'm Still Single on: 26-07-2013 08:25 PM

Jude Okoye is the elder brother, manager and director of Peter and Paul Okoye, popularly known as P-Square.

There is no way we would talk about P-Square’s success without mentioning Jude. How does it feel being a brother to the famous twins?

I will say that I am blessed and fortunate because it’s an honour to be the person behind them, and doing all the necessary things to keep the brand relevant at all time. At the same time, it’s not easy because every arrow and weapon tend to land on me, but I can’t complain because it’s what I signed and nobody is forcing me. I am blessed and happy that they’re my brothers.

When you started with P-Square, did you envisage they would be famous so early?

To be very honest with you, I don’t think P-Square envisaged to be where they are today, not to even talk of me. This is because we just love doing music in a way the world love. The truth is that the monetary aspect was not part of it at all. Back in those days, when we watched artistes singing and dancing, we always believed that we could do better. It was when we started that the monetary gains began to come and we have to embrace it because as celebrities, we need money to support our status.

You can’t be a celebrity and still be struggling to board a public bus or okada. That’s why I always advice up and coming artistes to be passionate about their job and not the money. You must have passion for music or whatever you‘re doing and at the end, money will come.

Can you recall your most memorable experience working with P-Square?

The fact that they’re recognised globally. At times, I sit in my room and people across the world would be calling for shows and you start wondering how your music got there despite the fact you don’t have a promoter, marketer or even the label’s brand office in these places.

I think that’s just the most memorable experience. But now, it is much easier with our deals with Konvict Music and Universal.

How will you describe Peter and Paul?

If I have to describe them in terms of what they do (music), they’re a kind of people that always want to invent, reinvent and thinking about what has not been done, be it in Nigeria, Africa and the world, that is doable. It’s like they’re competing with what they’ve done before, experimenting with different genres of music like reggae, R&B or blues.

For instance, Danger is a song that nobody has done before. That is the kind of things they’re into. They love experimenting. Also, they like taking risks. Once they come up with a concept, they will want to do it for their fans without considering the risk, such as money, energy and time.

What about their personal life?

Paul is more on the reserved side while Peter is on the social side. Peter is like a socialite, outgoing person more than Paul. Peter has the motivating drive. He loves to ginger us into doing stuff and at the end of the day; you don’t have an option than to follow him.

As for Paul, he would not consult anybody if he has any idea before doing it, and after perfecting it, he would now call us into it.

How does your own kind of person influence their persons?

For instance, when they come up with ideas, they will need support from anyone of us before execution. But as for me, I don’t need to seek their suggestion. I would tell them straight that this is what we are doing. I don’t need to get their opinion because before I come up with that opinion, I must have thought about it and reasoned well. They are the artistes. I see them and the audience, but they see only the fans. I am in-and-out. I know what people want more than they do.

It has been observed that you concentrate more on your brothers’ career. Why don’t you direct videos for other artistes?

If I am just a producer, manager or record label CEO, I will definitely expand by signing more artistes and commercialise myself, but my hands are tied. My hands are full because I do all these works myself. I don’t have time and when I have little time to take my work outside, like producing video or audio for someone else, there is always competition, especially when the artiste is not as big as P-Square. The next thing you hear is that Jude doesn’t want me to shine more than his brothers. Besides, most up and coming artistes make the mistake of comparing themselves with the big masquerades. That’s why I have to limit myself and remain with P-Square. Soonest, I will relinquish some of the work to capable hands, so that I can have enough time to rest and promote other artistes.

Today, record label owners look out for some specific features before signing artistes. We have those that go for young kids, ladies etc, what distinguishes Square Records from others?

I don’t think there should be anything like being selective so far they’re good and talented artistes that have what it takes to be good artistes. For instance, I can’t sign somebody that sings like P-Square, 2Face, Wizkid or D’Banj because they’re already established. I want somebody that sings differently and has passion, not because he wants to make quick money. I want somebody that will work for two to three years without expecting money because he enjoys what he’s doing.

That is the kind of people you look out for, not necessarily the gender issue. It’s about what you can offer and how passionate you are.

What kind of relationship exists between Square Records, J Martins and Bracket?

J Martins and Bracket are family friends to us. We have a good relationship from the beginning up till now. When they came, they wanted to be under Square Records but I wasn’t ready. I told them that I am going to offer them all the help they would need. I told them I was going to teach them how to fish. I gave them everything and today, I am happy that they’re doing fine. If today, I have space, I will as well put some people under Square umbrella.

Was there a time P-Square fought J Martins and Bracket?

For what?

For example, P-Square beefing J Martins because of his rising career?

Never! There was nothing like that. That’s why I told you earlier that we don’t always respond to allegations on newspapers, magazines or internet. Those baseless allegations won’t help us to move – it will always serve as distraction. For me, there is no allegation that I will respond to because I don’t want those baseless things to distract me.

Peter and Paul already have kids; and we all know their heartthrobs. Can you tell us the one in your life?

Why are you people always forcing me to come to the public? I don’t want to be a celebrity and I am not one of them. I don’t sing, dance or act.

I love where I am now (hiding myself) and if I love to do that, how do you expect me to introduce the lady I am dating? Back to your question, I have somebody, yes. That’s all.

Like I said, I have somebody but I won’t tell you her name.

Who is your ideal woman?

The most important thing I look out for in a woman is understanding, aside physical beauty because everybody wants to look at the person beside him and be amazed and happy to have married a beautiful lady, not an ugly girl. Basically, your wife should understand you, especially when both male and female fans are swarming around you, wanting to take photographs with you and the rest. She must understand when you’re at work and office. That is my kind of woman.

Meaning that your lady has all these qualities?

Yes, she does. She’s beautiful and understanding.

So, when are you kicking bachelorhood?

When I will kick bachelorhood, I will call you and my fans to come and eat and drink. Already, I have purchased the bell, when it’s time, I will ring it.

Why is it taking so long, on a more serious note?

It’s taking so long because I am waiting for you people. Basically, why I am not yet married is that I don’t want to get married because I have all it takes to marry or because I am ripe. I want to get married and feel married so that I will be committed to my wife.

Although, I am not looking for a perfect person, but she must be a friend, partner, everything and someone that understands what I do.

What’s your projection for the next four to five years for Square Records?

We are not God and can’t tell what would happen in few seconds. The only thing we need is faith, to see tomorrow. What I always say when this kind of question comes up is P-Square, Square Records and every other thing around me are going to be great. We are going to a greater level.

We can’t say we will build a castle in five years because we can’t predict tomorrow. I know, with the way we are working, we are going to the greatest places. Things are going to get better by faith.

A General Practitioner, Dr Patrick Okolie, has said that body piercing can predispose one to infectious diseases.

Okolie told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Friday in Abuja that unsterilised needles and instruments used could cause HIV, Hepatitis B and Hepatitis C, among
others.

According to him, it is very easy to transfer diseases to one another through that process.

He added that the practise was being canvassed against in developed countries.

He said that there was the need to discourage the trend because of the high prevalence of communicable diseases.

Okolie urged those involved to go for medical checkup. (NAN)
927  Forum / Sports / Fabregas Ready To Join Man Utd on: 26-07-2013 03:46 PM

Cesc Fabregas has informed friends in the English game that he is ready to leave Barcelona for Manchester United.

Barcelona have already rebuffed a bid in excess of £30 million from United for the midfielder.

As United continue their pre-season tour of Japan, David Moyes used his press-conference on Thursday to announce that the club’s efforts to bring in Fabregas were “ongoing”, with another increased bid thought to be on the way.

However according to the Daily Mail the situation may now have titled in United’s favour with Fabregas reportedly telling friends in England that he is ready to leave Camp Nou for a second time, having quit Arsenal to return to his hometown club just two years ago.

United will be encouraged by these new developments, with Fabregas attracted by the lure of regular first-team football, which he cannot be guaranteed at Barcelona.

Fabregas is also believed to be keen to link up once again with his former Arsenal team-mate Robin van Persie, with whom he won an FA Cup in 2005.

However Barcelona are still adamant Fabregas will not be leaving. They have already lost the services of midfielder Thiago, who opted to rejoin former Barcelona manager Pep Guardiola at Bayern Munich.

But it is understood that if Fabregas asks for a transfer then the club’s stance may change.

At 119 years old Johanna Mazibuko, who lives in small town south-west of Johannesburg, could be the world's oldest person.

Ms Mazibuko was born in 1894, according to her identity papers, and has outlived five of her seven children.

"God gave my life in abundance, plus a bonus. I am very old now," she told South Africa's Sowetan newspaper.

According to Guinness World Records, the oldest living person is Misao Okawa, from Japan, who is 115.

Ms Mazibuko shares her house in Klerksdorp, which is about 160km (100 miles) south-west of Johannesburg, with her 77-year-old son, Tseko Mazibuko, who is also a pensioner.

According to the Sowetan, Ms Mazibuko prides herself on still being able to make her bed every morning.

"I'm doing alright," she said.

Her ID book, issued in 1986, shows her date of birth as 11 May 1894, the Sowetan reports.

South Africa's home affairs ministry has not confirmed the authenticity of Ms Mazibuko's identity documents, but the AFP news agency says it has seen a copy of them.

Ms Mazibuko, the oldest of 10 siblings, reportedly cooks, dresses herself, does the laundry and watches television.

"She is able to move on her own but cannot stand for a long time. She gets dizzy," her son told the Sowetan.

Ms Mazibuko has lived through British colonialism, apartheid and the era of democracy led by Nelson Mandela, who was elected South Africa's president in 1994.

The oldest person recorded in history was Jeanne Calment from France who died 4 August 1997 aged 122.
929  Forum / Sports / Thierry's New Tattoo! Former Arsenal Star Henry Shows Off Ink In Honour of City on: 26-07-2013 03:19 AM

Thierry Henry has revealed an intricate new tattoo involving a baby, the Empire State Building and an angel on Instagram.

A video showing the sleeve design, which covers the entirety of the Frenchman's left arm, was posted by Bang Bang Tattoos, a New York based tattoo parlour.

The ink begins at the bottom of Henry's arm with an image of a baby, which could be his daughter Tea, 8, and then evolves into the Statue of Liberty and what appears to be Brooklyn Bridge.

Further up, a red-tinted Empire State Building sits alongside a series of typical New York buildings complete with fire escapes and lit-up windows.

A large angel at the top of Henry's arm, surrounded by the moon and stars, finishes the artwork. Large red letters also run around the striker's elbow joint.

The former Arsenal forward is not the first famous visitor to Bang Bang Tattoos. In recent months the popular parlour have posted images of their work on music superstars Rihanna, Justin Bieber and Adele.

The inclusion of some of New York's most famous landmarks suggests that Henry is enjoying his time in the USA, after signing for New York Red Bulls in the summer of 2010 from Barcelona.

The 35-year-old was named his side's Most Valuable Player last season and earned a second consecutive spot as an MLS All-Star.

He has taken on David Beckham's mantle as the MLS' most famous player and is seen as a key figure in improving the league's reputation around the world.

Having signed a 'multi-year contract' when he joined, Henry looks likely to see out his career at the Red Bull Arena despite returning to Arsenal for a brief loan spell in 2012.

The Red Bulls currently sit third in the Eastern Conference of the MLS, four points off current leaders Sporting Kansas City.
930  Forum / Politics / EFCC Arrests Ex-Commissioner In Imo on: 26-07-2013 03:02 AM

Operatives of anti-graft organisation, Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, stormed Owerri on Tuesday and reportedly arrested the immediate past commissioner for Local Government Affairs, Mr. Jerry Okolie.

Vanguard gathered that while two directors of account and general services and treasurers of two local councils are said to be cooling their heels in EFCC net, some other members of the sacked Imo State executive council have since scampered into safety to avoid being picked up by the stern looking anti-graft personnel.

A senior staff in Imo State civil service, who pleaded anonymity, told Vanguard that EFCC operatives had severally been visiting the state to probe reports of alleged fraud perpetrated by the state government.

The source said: “In this instance, the EFCC operatives stormed the Commissioners’ Quarters, situated along Concorde Avenue, Owerri, on Tuesday and arrested the former Commissioner for Lola Government Affairs, Mr. Jerry Okolie”.

He said some other ex-commissioners still staying in the quarters since they were sacked by the governor, quickly fled into safety.

The source added: “The EFCC operatives truly encountered stiff resistance from security personnel at the premises but were eventually allowed to carry out their assignment when they properly identified themselves and their mission.”

Another staff of the Ministry of Local Government Affairs who spoke on anonymity, explained that the former commissioner’s arrest might be connected with petitions sent to EFCC on the alleged embezzlement of local council funds in the state.

When Vanguard visited some council headquarters yesterday most treasurers and directors of administration and general services were said to “have gone to Owerri for official assignments”.

It would be recalled that some of the aides of Governor Rochas Okorocha, who have been constant visitors to EFCC Headquarters, Abuja, includes the former Commissioner for Finance, Deacon Chike Okafor, and state Accountant-General, Mr. George Eche.
931  Forum / Politics / Fashola Rewards 128 Public Secondary Schools With N256m on: 26-07-2013 02:57 AM

Governor Babatunde Fashola of Lagos State, yesterday, presented cheques worth N256 million to 128 public secondary schools in the state, as reward for academic excellence.

This came as the governor said his administration recently, employed 1200 new teachers to boost teaching and learning in the state public secondary schools.
Fashola handed the cheques to the  schools at the third edition of  the Lagos Eko Project Awards, a World Bank assisted  project, held in Ikeja.

The event was attended by former  Attorney-General and Minister of Justice, Chief Bola Ajibola, Chief Molade Okoya-Thomas, among other eminent personalities.

The governor noted that each of the 128 schools selected from the 661 junior and senior secondary schools in the state will receive N2 million, explaining that the gesture was to encourage the schools and urged them to ultilise the money to further develop their schools.

Explaining the reason for the award, the governor said it was conceived to enhance academic standards through the promotion of healthy rivalry among schools in the state.

According to him, “the award has enabled us to diligently monitor performances of students, schools, and teachers and promote academic excellence in Lagos public secondary schools.”

The governor said the programme, “midwifed by the Lagos Eko Secondary Education Project, was one of the efforts by the state to transform public education in  the state.

“In 2008 the pass rate of our pupils who made credits in five subjects including English and Mathematics was just 10.5 per cent. But by 2012 it tripled to 38.5 per cent. This is not our destination.

“We hope our results will keep getting better than those of the preceding year. That is what we want and we are working towards that.”

Fashola, however, announced the award of international leadership training for 24 teachers and principals who performed remarkably in the discharge of their duties.

Speaking on employment, Fashola said: “Recently, we employed 1200 teachers and they are currently undergoing requisite documentation to formalise their appointment to join the team of the reliable workforce of the state.

“All these are to ensure that we leave no stone unturned in the bid to revolutionise the education and restore confidence in the public schools.”

He said 19 new schools had been established across the six education districts in the state to widen access to public education, saying, “it has increased the number of secondary schools in the state from 641 to 661.”

According to TMZ: AEG exec John Meglin is on the stand in the wrongful death case of  Michael Jackson, scoffing at the Jackson family's claim that Michael would have earned $1.5 billion had he lived.

Meglin told the jury it's his opinion Celine is a bigger star and therefore more bankable than MJ ever would have been.  Yet according to reports, Celine is worth a measly $400 mil.

Fun facts: Jackson ranks #3 in most albums sold worldwide -- more than a billion (behind the Beatles and Elvis) . Celine ranks #9 at 200 million albums.
As for Grammys, MJ also has had 13 Grammys as compared to Celine's 5 Grammys.
934  Forum / Politics / Tunisian Politician 'Assassinated' on: 25-07-2013 11:42 PM

Tunisian opposition party leader Mohamed Brahmi has been shot dead in the capital, Tunis, in the country's second political killing this year.

Protesters have gathered in Tunis and other cities across the country calling for the government to resign.

Tunisia's largest trade union has called for a general strike on Friday and Tunisair has cancelled all flights to and from Tunisia for that day.

Mr Brahmi, 58, led the nationalist Movement of the People party.

Prime Minister Ali Larayedh condemned his assassination, but said: "We are against all calls to dissolve the government to create a [power] vacuum."

In February, the killing of prominent secular politician Chokri Belaid sparked mass protests and forced Prime Minister Hamadi Jebali to resign.

An uprising in Tunisia in late 2010 kick-started a series of revolutions that spread through the Middle East and became known as the Arab Spring.

But there has been deep division between Islamists and secular opponents since the revolution, the BBC's diplomatic correspondent James Robbins reports.

Many Tunisians, particularly the young, complain that their quest for secular democracy has been hijacked by intolerant Islamists, including the Muslim Brotherhood which forms part of the current government, our correspondent says.

Gunmen on a motorbike shot Mr Brahmi in his car in front of his wife and daughter on Thursday morning, Movement of the People party officials said.

Local media reported the assailants fired 11 bullets at the politician. It is not known yet who was behind the attack.

The family of Mr Brahmi has accused the governing Islamist Ennahda party of being behind the killing.

The party has not responded to the claim, but released a statement expressing "sadness and shock" at the "cowardly and despicable crime".

Mr Brahmi's wife, Mbarka, and her daughter Belkis were joined by angry Tunisians outside the hospital in Tunis where the politician died.

Large crowds also gathered in front of the Ministry of Interior in the capital in protest at the killing.

Meanwhile, reports are emerging of police firing tear gas to disperse demonstrators who allegedly stormed a local government office in the southern city of Sfax.

And demonstrators are said to have attacked Ennahda's headquarters in Sidi Bouzid, Mr Brahmi's hometown and the birthplace of the Arab Spring.

"People have blocked roads and set tyres alight," a local resident told the Reuters news agency.

Tunisia's prime minister said Mr Brahmi's murder was aimed at taking advantage of the upheaval in Egypt, where President Mohammed Morsi was recently ousted after mass protests against him and his ruling Muslim Brotherhood.

"This is aimed at pushing us into the unknown, whether it is chaos, fighting, civil war, or the return of tyranny," Mr Larayedh said in a televised address on Thursday evening.

'Tide of violence'
The killing came as Tunisia celebrated the 56th anniversary of becoming a republic after gaining independence from France.

Human rights organisation Amnesty International said the killing was a "blow to the rule of law in Tunisia", which was experiencing a "worrying tide of political violence".

Mr Brahmi founded the Movement of the People party after the 2011 revolution.

He was also a member of the National Constituent Assembly, which is drafting a new constitution.

The assembly announced Friday would be a day of mourning.

Mr Brahmi was not as big a political figure as Mr Belaid, but he too was a leftist critical of Ennahda.

Ennahda came to power following the overthrow of long-term ruler Zine al-Abidine Ben Ali in January 2011.

The party has faced growing popular unrest over a faltering economy and a rising extremist Islamist movement.

After Mr Belaid's assassination in February, many Tunisians accused Ennahda of not doing enough to stamp out a rise in Islamist violence, with some critics saying the party was actively fomenting it, correspondents say.

The party denied the accusations.
935  Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / South African 'Serial Rapist' Found Dead on: 25-07-2013 11:35 PM

A man accused of being one of South Africa's worst serial rapists, Sifiso Makhubo, who faced 122 charges including murder, is found dead in his prison cell, officials say.

Sifiso Makhubo, who faced 122 charges, including murder, was found hours before his trial was due to start.

He is also charged with attempted murder over allegations he knowingly infected his victims with HIV - the first such prosecution.

South Africa has one of the highest rates of segxwal violence in the world.

Some 64,000 cases were reported to the police last year.

It is also the country with the largest HIV-positive population - some 5.5 million people, or 17% of those aged 15-49.

The authorities say Mr Makhubo was alone in the cell and is believed to have hanged himself with a blanket but they are investigating the circumstances of his death.

He was accused of molesting 35 children and two women between January 2006 and February 2011.

His youngest alleged victim was only 10 years old.

So far 33 DNA samples from evidence collected from the victims had been a match with the alleged rapist, reports say.

Prosecutors say Mr Makhubo knew his HIV status when he molested his victims, so they intended to argue that this constituted attempted murder.

Justice denied?
In spite of numerous campaigns, deliberately infecting someone with HIV has not been made a specific offence, says the BBC's Pumza Fihlani in Johannesburg.

But there has been at least one civil case where damages were awarded, she says.

While some Aids activists support the change in the law to curb the spread of the virus in the country, legal experts say it would be difficult to secure a conviction, as the state would have to prove that the victim was HIV-negative prior to being molested and also that they were infected by the person charged.

National Prosecuting Authority spokesperson Phindi Louw said she was "sad" for Mr Makhubo's victims because they did not get the "closure" they had expected.

"The case against Sifiso Makhubo took a huge amount of effort to bring to court. My heart goes out to the victims," she said, according to the Mail and Guardian newspaper.

937  Forum / The Buzz Central / Working Mothers: ‘Sister-Sister’ Act, Tamera Dishes Out Some Advice To Women. on: 25-07-2013 10:04 PM

Actress, Tamera Mowry-Housley of the then popular sitcom ‘Sister-sister’ has been married for some years and has a beautiful son. In an interview, she dished out some advice to women all over the world on motherhood, courtship, living with your man before you say I do and more. She believes in the ‘traditional black woman’ who can be called the ‘good girl’ in other words. Here are some things she had to say to women;

On how girls of nowadays dress and act:

Like my grandmother always said, ‘dare to be different’. While it’s popular these days to be the Rihanna to his Chris (okay, sans the abuse fiasco), consider being different from all of the overly sexy, turnt up girls. Guys want someone who stands out from the crowd. Remember, there’s a HUGE difference between wifey and wife! Don’t get it twisted.

On having sex with different guys before marriage(she lost her virginity at 29):

If you start having sex at such a young age, by the time you’re in your 30s and 40s, it’s old. And you’re trying many different ways to keep it new, I wanted to experience all of that once I got married and living with my husband. Perhaps trying all of the kama sutra positions with your jumpoffs and boyfriends isn’t the best thing. After all, that will leave nothing new to explore for your husband.

Moving in with your man before marriage:

I’m also conservative about relationships like living together before you’re married. We just spoke about that and I don’t think you should. I didn’t want to live with my boyfriend because I wanted to get married to experience that. All the other girls, except for Jeannie, wanted to know what they were getting before they got married. My position is that I’m jumping into this thing on faith, Statistics show that if you live with your husband before you’re married, divorce rates are higher. Cohabitation before marriage may also make the goal of marriage less important because you’re already playing house. You know the saying about the cow and the free milk… right!

On balancing motherhood and work:

I get called the 1950s mom all the time. I never thought that wanting to be with your child all the time, would be considered being a 1950s mom, But reality tv and business deals take a backseat to family. Before I had Aden(her son), I was in control of as much as humanly possible I thought. And having Aden taught me, ‘Tamera you just have to let that go.’ You just have to live day by day, take it an hour at a time. I don’t overwhelm myself and I prioritize. My family is number one. So whatever makes my son happy, my husband happy, that’s what I do.

How motherhood has been it being her first time…:

I remember when I first had Aden, naturally you want to be the best mom you can be, I wanted to do everything. I did everything to the best of my ability and I was stressing myself out because you have to learn to just relax and know that every day isn’t going to be perfect. You cant control everything. I was OCD but I was never organized so my house will be really clean but under a bed will be a mess, and the drawers will be a mess. Now the only way I can think straight is if I organize things in my life. But you’re never going to have that 100% down.” Remember, do what you can, while you can, the best you can and enjoy the ride along the way.

Her preference on baby food and what’s more convenient:

I make my baby food myself. It’s healthier but it’s more time consuming, but it is cheaper. A lot of the baby foods out there have GMOs, genetically modified foods, in them and they have preservatives and chemicals and that are being linked to autism. It’s not a proven fact but it is assumed to be linked to autism, So I buy organic food for my baby and I make it. I buy, blend it, freeze it and it’s all mine. Yep, I work and I make the food. It’s possible. I also nursed for a really long time and that’s the best thing you can do.  I did it while I was working. My thing is I will go to the extreme for my child to have the best. It’s just in me. It may be tiring and exhausting but I do it.

What do you think guys? It can be pretty difficult to still  be a ‘good girl’ at a time and age where the bad is seen as the good and vice versa but it is still possible. Every woman should have a standard and have a man who is really interested in her live up to it; we should be women of virtue!

On the other hand, being a first time mother (and even after the second, third and more) can be pretty difficult at first because it’s something that is new to you no matter how much you’ve taken care of others. Getting someone(preferably someone who has had the experience) around to assist and put you through would not be a bad idea. Bosom  feeding your child for a longer period is the healthier way to go has it contains more nutrients and no toxins/chemicals unlike the processed/artificial made baby food. The baby is still growing and is not strong enough to combat certain things taken in. Getting a Bosom  pump might be ideal so has to have the natural milk stored down for someone else to feed the baby if the need be.

Another thing you should bear in mind is that it can’t always be perfect. You’ll learn everyday, better ways to either care for the child, manage your time and balance your new life with a child. Motherhood is a beautiful thing to be enjoyed and cherished.

Skoda has unveiled the ultimate baby stroller - an incredible one-off pram fitted with sports suspension and 20-inch alloy wheels.

Engineers at the Czech car maker thought of the most luxurious modifications they could add to a humble pram.

The result is a pushchair that has wing mirrors, high-spec brakes with brake lights, and headlights.

It rolls on a set of wheels which have been fitted with all terrain tyres, with extra comfort provided by the sports seat and hydraulic suspension.
The high performance all terrain stroller has been described as the ultimate baby carrier that is 'fit for a king'.

According to a survey of 1,000 fathers, two thirds say they would spend more time behind the wheel of a stroller if they had access to a more stylish model.

As impressive as it looks, it is probably not that practical for the average home-owner, as it is big enough to need its own garage.

Heidi Cartledge, Head of Marketing at Škoda UK said: ‘We used it in the new Octavia vRS TV ad because we wanted to bring to life the idea of enhancing the performance of everyday objects.'

940  Forum / Politics / I’ll ‘Export’ Gay Marriage Around The World – David Cameron (UK Prime Minister) on: 25-07-2013 09:45 PM

David Cameron vowed last night to ‘export’ gay marriage around the world including Ghana as he held a party to celebrate the passage of legislation in Britain.

The Prime Minister told a gay, lesbian, bisegxwal and transgender reception in Downing Street of his personal pride at legalising gay marriage.

Addressing an audience that included BBC presenter Clare Balding and her partner, the former newsreader Alice Arnold, Mr Cameron boasted that Britain was now ‘the best place to be gay, lesbian or transgender anywhere in Europe’.

But he risked controversy by suggesting that his ministers should now fan out across the globe to spread gay marriage around the world.

‘I’m personally proud of this,’ he said. ‘I think it’s a really good step. I’ve told the Bill team I’m now going to reassign them because, of course, all over the world people would have been watching this and we’ve set something of an example of how to pass good legislation in good time.

‘Many countries are going to want to copy this. I talk about how we’ve got to export more, so I’m going to export the Bill team.

‘I think they can take it around the world.’

Gay marriage was passed by Parliament despite fierce opposition from some Tory MPs and grassroots members, who were angered by the Prime Minister prioritising the issue over economic problems.

But Mr Cameron signalled that he wants to go further in pressing gay rights. He told the gathering: ‘There’s still a lot more work to be done.

‘There’s work to be done talking to our Commonwealth partners about decriminalising homosegxwality in various countries.

‘There’s a lot of work to be done on homophobic bullying in schools, which is still a scourge in our country. There’s a lot of work to be done in terms of hate crimes and how we stop and stamp that out in our society.’

The reception was also attended by gay rights campaigners and senior Tories including International Development Minister Alan Duncan and former prisons minister Crispin Blunt.

Miss Balding, who is set to marry Miss Arnold, said: ‘It was great – a very good speech by the Prime Minister. ‘He said that he had delivered on a promise and he was very proud to have done so.’

During the event Mr Cameron, together with his team of ministers behind the legislation, signed a copy of the Marriage (Same Sex Couples) Act 2013.

He said: ‘I think of young children growing up at school, who might be uncertain about their segxwality, knowing that now, in the highest place in the land – in Parliament – we’ve passed this law that says that marriage is for you, whether you’re gay or whether you’re straight. And that is so important to young people growing up.’

But some of his MPs remain angry.

Former defence minister Sir Gerald Howarth said the issue was ‘deeply divisive’ for the party.

He accused the Prime Minister of ‘seeking to extol a fundamental change in society for which he has no mandate’ and which had been rejected by his MPs.
