VIDEO: It has been discovered that the sergent who was dismissed from the Nigeria Police for extorting money from a citizen has been impersonating his classmate for over 21 years.

Information gathered by Channels Television revealed that Osugwor Festus and not Chris Omeleze is his real name.

A source, who chose to remain annonymous, said that the "real name of the dismissed policeman is not Chris Omeleze. His real name is Osugwor Festus from Umuseti in Nduka West LGA of Delta state. He was classmates with Chris Omeleze... They attended Ndemili Grammar school and finsihed in 1987."

The Olaraja of Ekere, Ogieboro E.F Esisi has expressed his gratitude to the sponsors of this year’s edition of the popular Okere Juju festival which came to a completion recently.

 The Brand Manager, Eagle Schnapps Mr Kingsley Anuebunwa, receiving the gift said that the society which  lets go of its culture will definitely forget its roots, hence the commitment of the Brand to the celebration  and encouragement of the preservation of our culture through the sponsorship of important festivals such as the Okere Juju.

He further added that Company took the sponsorship a notch higher by sponsoring a draughts competition during the festival. He disclosed that the winners, Marcus Somatsone  Martin Patrick and Deby Ogona went home with cash sums, Draughts boards  and other branded items.
The  grand finale of the event which was witnessed  by over 20,000 spectators  was the climax of 5-weeks  of activities, which included the  “Ibi ri bi”(the spiritual cleansing),  “ode gbigba’  (sweeping the arena), “Awerewere” (cleansing ceremony).
The spectators were treated to masquerade displays, and various enactments from the rich history of the Okere People.  Various groups from within the community attired in beautiful colourful native costumes paid homage to the traditional ruler with the Motor bikers group drawing the most attention with their biking display.
When the first shade of darkness crept in the masquerades disrobed leaving only their loin clothes  in preparation for their  departure .This was immediately followed by the final race  of the Masquerades with the entire audience offering prayers for diseases and evil forces to depart from their midst.
 Mr David Oki, the community public relations officer said the festival has thrown open many tourism and business opportunities for visitors and indigenes alike.

Popular Nollywood Actress Tonto Dikeh’s acting may be going south following threats from some movie producers and director to relegate her to the background as a result of what they described as herrude conduct recently at a location in Asaba.
“That little brat, apart from her addictions to marijuana, doesn’t give a damn about whose ox is gored, she abuses, throw tantrums and fights on set at any slightest provocationand we must make sure she’s humiliated.
"She seems to have gathered too much weight and has hurriedly forgottenthose days when she used to go on bended knees for a ‘waka pass’ role in movies.We’ll teach her a lesson."
According to our sources, Tonto Dikeh who was playing a lead role in a movie at a location in Asaba, provoked the anger of a top movie director by her unbecoming display onset.
The director hasn’t stoppedtelling everyone his nasty experience at the hands of the controversial actress.
According to the director who craved anonymity:
“Tonto Dikeh is such a rot and lacks every bit of hometraining, apologies to her parents. I tried to control myself in order not to disrupt the set, but I got upset over the kind of insults Tonto heaped on the makeup artist on the set; a woman old enough to be her mother.
"She liberally used words like, ‘Are you silly, don’t you know what you are supposed to do? Must I remind you before you’ll know you are supposed to make me up?’ on the woman who was at the verge of throwing back some punch lines at her.”
Consequently, a group of directors and producers have decided not to featurethe actress who currently is not even in good terms with many actress, due to her recent outburst on the social media.
