|  Pope Francis has reportedly called a young gay Catholic man in France to reassure him about his segxwality. The Pope is said to have called the man to reassure him about his segxwality Christophe Trutino had written to the Pope to emotionally explain his inner turmoil in reconciling his segxwality with his faith, explaining how he was terrified he was going to hell for being gay. The 25-year-old sales assistant from Toulouse said that due to the ongoing row over France’s battle over same-sex marriage, he was struggling to stay a believer in the Catholic faith. Trutino said he was left stunned when he then received a phone call from the head of the Catholic Church himself. “Your homosegxwality. It doesn't matter”, the Pope reportedly told him, according to the local newspaper La Dépêche du Midi. "It was he who started the conversation," Trutino said. He said 'Christopher? It's Pope Francis'. I was unsettled, of course. I asked, " Really? " He replied: "Yes." “I received the letter that you sent me. You need to remain courageous and continue to believe and pray and stay good,” the Pope told him during the nine-minute conversation in Spanish. “Your homosegxwality. It doesn’t matter. One way or another, we are all children of God. This is why we must continue to be good," the Pope told him. There has been a rise in French homophobia following a spike in anti-gay marriage protestors. Trutino said the phone call ended with the Pope asking him to pray for him and that he would do the same in return. “When I hung up the phone, I was completely filled with emotion," the man said. I was shaking. At the same time, the conversation was very relaxed. It was like a call from a friend, nice, very human.” The Vatican has not confirmed yet whether the phone call took place. While Francis' predecessor Benedict XVI was an extreme opponent of gay rights – once describing homosegxwality as a "defection of human nature" – the most recent Pope has expressed his tolerance towards homosegxwality. During his recent visit to Brazil he said: "If a person is gay and seeks God and has good will, who am I to judge?" |  Former Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode, has withdrawn the controversial comment he made a week after Bianca Ojukwu threatened to sue him for him saying they had an “intimate relationship” In a statement through his lawyer, Rotimi Akinola, on Thursday, Mr. Fani-Kayode accepted that he erred by making the comment but said it was “bizarre, absurd and inexplicable” that the wife of the late Biafran warlord, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu-Ojukwu, claimed they were never acquainted. “As our client said earlier through his press secretary some of the words he used to describe his friendship with Ambassador Ojukwu in his article titled ”A Word For Those Who Call Me A Tribalist” were indiscreet,” Mr. Fani-Kayode’s lawyer said in the statement. “He hereby withdraws those words,” he added. News of Mr. Fani-Kayode’s withdrawal of the comments came just as it was learnt that several concerned highly placed Nigerians were reaching out to both Mr. Fani-Kayode and Mrs. Ojukwu with a view to amicably resolving the differences between them. One of those who initiated the peace moves but pleaded not to be named said both parties were cooperating with the efforts at reconciling them. He said the statement by Mr. Fani-Kayode’s lawyer was part of the measures suggested by the mediators. A few weeks ago, Mr. Fani-Kayode had written the article where he sought to allay the outrage caused by an earlier controversial piece titled ‘The Bitter Truth About the Igbos.’ In the article, Mr. Fani-Kayode had disclosed that he had had a “long standing and intimate relationship” with Mrs. Ojukwu, former beauty queen and daughter of a state governor in the Second Republic. The claims angered Mrs. Ojukwu, Nigeria’s Ambassador to Spain, who directed her lawyers to request Mr. Fani-Kayode to retract his statement. |  This is a very nasty magazine (ENDTIME) print going round town, which claims that the popular man of God, Pastor E .A Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) was arrested by a security man and forced to do frog jump. How on earth do some people come up with senseless stories and print them all in the name of making money. If you ask me, I will say this is crap. All those involved should desist so the wrath of God not fall on them. A word they say is enough for the wise!!! | | No doubt that your website have helped my blog, unless if I'm deceiving myself and also to many bloggers around the web. I must confess, I know getting to this stage of yours, wasn't an easy task for the man or lady behind Mania and the Pals. Yes, you are doing a great job.
I don't have anything to say than to beg you or at most to note some issue i'm having, because anything relating to my site is directly affecting me. The issue or a little complaints I want to notify you of is that I'M BEING BAN TOO FREQUENTLY, YES, JUST TOO FREQUENTLY. I'm sure if just to come in, read stories, comment and backoff, no one will ban me. So me bringing new stories everyday to gistmania, is the issue. If i'm not mistaking, for this week alone, i have been banned for about three times, with such rate that means, I have to open another account, because each ban has always being permanent, which I think is too hash - no matter how the offence might be. So please gistmania, moderators, admin, kindly take to this issue. Yes, I know that sometimes I float some rules, but for a permanent ban? Is not what anyone deserve, except of course, if one uploads pornography pictures or videos
For bloggers coming in to the forum pasting stories, in my own little understanding, I think it should always be a win win thing. Most of the stories I do paste here, I paste it too at Nairaland, and since more than 3 weeks, I have never being banned over there. Yes, sometimes they do remove my blog link from the story and paste the full stories, but I've never being banned. Please Admin to Gistmania, help us, the new generation of bloggers. God bless

Apparently, after the dance, as a man, Eedris can't hold it and he asked Cossy to let them finish up the business in a small dark room at the back of the stage. But Cossy said no. |  Ladies and Gentlemen, I write to you today, not in defense of Davido, the individual but the ideology of Davido (David Adeleke) in the music industry. Looking at recent tweets and blogs, it seems like this musician can do no right, no matter how he tries. Last week I saw a tweet of a colleague of his that read (and I’m paraphrasing), “Wish I had a rich dad to do anything for me.” Another one read, “it is good to have a rich dad.” It seems that people have started to attribute this individual’s success to the socio-economic status of his father and here I say it is WRONG! Continue after the cut. Before I state my problem with this ideology, I want to declare that I do not know Davido, never met the dude, not on his payroll and I do not know any of his friends. In fact, his genre and style of music does nothing for me except that when I see a person working hard for a future, you have to respect the dude.
