As part of activities marking the 60th birthday and 7th installation anniversary anniversary of the Osemawe of Ondo Kingdom, Oba Victor Kiladejo, Nollywood superstar Omotola Jalade Ekeinde will be conferred with honarary Chieftaincy title.

Others to be honoured include The Senate President, David Mark and the Minister of Communication and Technology, Mrs. Bolaji Johnson, President of Black Archaeologists in America, Olakunle Akinboboye and a Business Mogul, Engr. Raymond Akinyele.

 According to the Chairman of the Planning and Organizing Committee, Chief Noah Fadayomi, the awardees were divided into two categories.

Mark and other non-indigenes fell into the first category of the awards, and they were picked due to their commitments to nation building.

Johnson, Omotola Jolade, Akinboboye and others fell into the second category as indigenes of Ondo town and they were chosen due to their commitments to the development of the ancient community.

 The week long event, which starts on Wednesday November 6, is aimed at realizing the vision 2015 of making Ondo state a better place.

Those in the first category will receive their titles on Saturday while those in the second category which Omotola falls under will receive theirs on Friday.

A man accused of segxwally assaulting his own daughter for a period of many months has been arrested in the southern French town of Florensac after the 14-year-old girl had the presence of mind to secretly film an attack using a webcam.14-Yr-Old Daughter Secretly Films Father On Webcam During segxwal Assaul

The girl, aged 14, used a webcam on her computer to film the abuse, in Florensac, a town in the southern Hérault department.

The footage is now a key piece of evidence in the case.

Details of the abuse were revealed through the girl’s school counselor at the beginning of September.

But it was not until after the abuse was captured on camera that police had enough evidence to arrest the father.

As a result, the defendant was questioned last Tuesday and placed in detention in Béziers prison.

"My client acknowledges the facts," the suspect's lawyer Mathieu Montfort was quoted as saying.

"There was a period when he was unemployed and in the middle of a divorce.

He insists that these acts did not stretch back further than three or four months.

His daughter says longer. But everyone should be very careful in what they say."

The girl herself, meanwhile, has been moved to a women’s shelter for her own protection.

"The victim was placed in a shelter as a matter of urgency," confirmed a representative from the Public Prosecutor’s Department.

"We have to avoid potential pressure from the family of this child who was abused and filmed.

"We are afraid of the violence of this man who is downplaying the facts despite the video and who, moreover, explained that he took no pleasure from abusing his own daughter and that he was just messing around."

Investigators also need to clarify whether the girl’s mother, who also allegedly suffered abuse by her husband, was aware that her daughter was being abused.

This isn't the first time in recent weeks that France has been haunted by the spectre of family members segxwally assaulting each other.

In September, 25-year-old Sabrina Bonner was handed a 20-year jail term for holding down her four-year-old son while his stepfather raped him repeatedly during a prison visit

 Chizoba Michael  Nwobodo’s inordinate ambition to get rich quick has left two families in deep sorrow and anguish.

According to GD, the 24-yr-old gruesomely murdered two young boys and harvested their vital organs for money making rituals.
He’s a kidnapper, armed robber and ritual killer who hails from  Umualaguroyi Uhueze Nenwe village in Aninri West Local Government Area of  Enugu State.
He committed the heinous crimes between August and October this year.

 In the first incident, which occurred in Ohuhu, Abia State on August 7, 2013, Chizoba abducted his uncle's 9 years old son Emmanuel Nwobodo, after school at 4.00pm on that fateful day.
He took the boy into a nearby bush, beheaded him and proceeded to harvest his  kidneys, lungs, heart and genitals. Done with the horrible act, he calmly dumped the boy’s dismembered body on the bank of a nearby river.

When evening came and the boy had still not returned from school, the parents started searching for him. Chizoba even joined in the search for the unfortunate  boy.
When he could not be found, his parents reported the matter to the police at Isikwuato Police Station, Abia State.

Later, Chizoba made a call to his uncle, informing him thus:

    I told my uncle that I kidnapped the child at 4.00pm, that if he can pay me ransom of N300,000 I would release the child to him. He paid me N200,000. After some time, I called my uncle again and demanded another sum of N200,000. I told him to sell his land, but my uncle refused to pay the money. At the time I was demanding the money, I had already killed the child.”

On October 11, 2013, barely two months after murdering nine-year-old Emmanuel,  Chizoba again abducted another child, Promise Uwakwe, a five-year-old boy as he was returning from school.

This time around, he enticed the innocent boy with biscuits, dragged him into the  bush and when the obviously startled boy began to scream  after sensing danger, Chizoba quickly strangled him to death and then removed the boy’s vital organs.

Promise’s father, Mr Ngozi Nwakwe said the family became worried when the boy’s school uniform was found on the ground but he could not be found.

After the first day, he reported to the police at Anniri Police Post and the policemen joined in the search for the child. When the child was not found after three days, the case was transferred to the Anti-kidnapping Squad of the Enugu State Police Command.

Like  the well-known Otokoto ritual killing incident that occurred in 1996 in Imo State, the blood of the gruesomely murdered innocent little boys cried unceasingly before the Throne of the Almighty for justice.

    It was when the suspect demanded  N3 million ransom from us that we alerted the police and they rounded him up and he confessed to them that he had killed my son and removed his genitals  lungs, kidneys and heart and then dumped him inside a water tank from which we recovered his corpse,” Nwakwe said in anguish.

 Enugu State Commissioner of Police, Mr. Abubakar Adamu who narrated Chizoba’s murderous escapades  to Sunday Sun revealed that the suspect was exposed when he called Mr Nwakwe and demanded  N3 million ransom for the boy.
The family refused and reported to the police.

Mercy Johnson Banned By Nigerian Movie Marketers For Being The Highest Paid Nollywood Actress

So mama Purity has finally spoken up on her expected ban in 2014 by the association of Nigerian movie marketers for being too expensive.

The talented actress who is now the highest paid actress in Nollywood charges around 1.8 to 2 million per movie while others like Funke Akindele and Genny charge between 700 to 1.2 million naira.

The busy mother of one took to her Twitter page yesterday to blast the marketers for trying to spoil her market.

Yes she acknowledged her expensive bid however, she has advised the marketers to go for other actresses who are less expensive than her.

Mercy Johnson is a busy actress ooo , I hear she has been fully booked for movie projects till the end of the year.

This is another indication of the messy political game ravaging Nollywood.

Ex-Nigeria’s President Olusegun Obasanjo on Saturday said he would respond to the claims made by his erstwhile deputy, former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar, on their political relationship, in his soon-to-be published book.

Abubakar had, in an interview published in Hausa language by a newspaper, disclosed that he “blasted” Obasanjo over his bid to run for a second term and had argued vehemently with him on his (Obasanjo’s) bid to go for a third term.

He also claimed he snubbed Obasanjo, who had visited his residence to plead for his support for a second term. He disclosed that Obasanjo gave him a Quran to swear as a pledge of his loyalty to him, during one of their arguments.

When contacted for Obasanjo’s response to Abubakar’s claims, the former President’s media aide, Mr. Vitalis Ortese, simply told one of our correspondents, “Wait for our book.”

Also, Obasanjo’s Chief of Staff, Mr. Victor Durodola, said the former President did not want to respond to the things Atiku said in the interview.

“There is nothing to respond to. What was published was taken out of context, from an interview. He (Atiku) did not come to say it directly, so it is not something we can respond. My principal does not want to respond to it,” he said.

When asked if Atiku’s claims were correct, Durodola said, “There is nothing to correct.”

There was drama in Nairobi over the weekend after a 26 year old man who has been deceiving men while disguised as a woman was arrested.

The man had his br**sts stuffed with two gloves filled with water and nicely tucked into a brassiere. He dressed like a woman and looked so attractive since he had a big bum.

According to ‘her’ colleagues, the suspect had been in the business for a while now and they had never suspected anything. He always looked like a woman and was smartly dressed all the time.

Speaking to the media, the suspect admitted that he started dressing like a woman and practicing prostitution last year.

He claimed to be fending for his family arguing that he had looked for a job for many years to no avail.

He said that he was enjoying relations with lots of men and it was sad that he now had to stop after being discovered.

A teenager from Russia has sold her virginity for less than $30,000, it is reported.

The unnamed 18 year old - known only by the nickname Shatuniha - advertised on an online auction site describing her condition as 'new - not used'.

From Siberia, she proposed meeting in a hotel in the city of Krasnoyarsk where she wished to be paid before sleeping with the man who exceeded her minimum price.
