It seems the last hasn’t been heard of the marital mess of celebrity couple, actress Doris Simeon and Daniel Ademinokan.
Movie director, Daniel Ademinokan sent an email to several online, explaining what transpired between him, his estranged wife and actress, Doris Simeon and their son.

He further leaked a particular conversation between him and his Pastor, where he explained certain things to his pastor including how he volunteered to pay Doris’ flight fees to US twice a year to visit her son.
The message is portraying Daniel as appealing to the pastor to untie him from a long silence he had maintained since he broke up with Doris.
The star movie producer, in the message, seems to be ready for a showdown with her estranged wife, especially bothering on the controversy on the custody of the only fruit of their union, a male child named David.
Below is the electronic message, which not only portrays Doris as a liar on the child custody issue but also alleged her to be an unfaithful wife while their romance lasted.

Pastor, based on what you and I discussed, I offered to fly her to the United States twice a year, all expenses paid for by me so she can bond with David. I also said she can come 1 million times if she likes but I will only pay for two trips. She refused. Now she still wants to be calling me every second to bother me about David in private when she is making a mess of my character in the press and the public. She is using everything and everyone out there to mess me up and I’m supposed to still give her audience and grant all her wishes?

I’ve refused to speak to her since because she cannot be killing me on both sides. Its not everyday we get to see a set of twins get married to another set of twins.
Twin brothers Chinonso Akinade Okueze and Chibuzor Adelakin Okueze from Asaba Delta State married twin sisters, Folawemi Taiwo Okuniyi and Febisola Kehinde Okuniyi from Ondo state on 30th Nov at Foursquare Gospel Church Omole, Ikeja, Lagos state.

There was report that during the church wedding, officials of the Guinness Book of World Records acknowledged that they have never had any record or history of twins’ marriage in Africa.
Contrary to what people were thinking was an ‘arranged’ marriage project, one of the grooms, Chinonso, said it wasn’t planned that way.
Chinonso told E24-7  “When I saw Fola, I was struck. Unlike what many think that ‘Kehindes’ are always faster, I was sharper than him. I started dating Fola first, but one day, I noticed that he was going out, but he didn’t tell me where he was going. That was so strange so I decided to find out where he was going, and I realised he was visiting the Okunniyis. He later told me he likes Febi, and I told him it was okay that he should stick to her, because I already had my eyes on Fola.”

Chibuzor also re-iterated his twin brother’s claim that the joint wedding wasn’t initially planned. According to him, “We thank God and give Him all the glory. I pray that this ‘friendship’ that has started today will last for a very long time,” he enthused. “This is awesome. It’s great being brothers and brothers-in law to each other at the same time, and vice-versa.”

With some few weeks left to celebrate Christmas and the New Year, former Abia State governor, Dr. Orji Uzor Kalu has expressed concern over the plight of travelers, who use the lone Niger Bridge in Onitsha which is usually a nightmare during yuletide.
“I am really emotional about this”, Kalu said, adding that “I feel the pains of millions of Nigerians from the South-East to the North-Central, from Ikot Ekpene to Opobo. Going home in December is worse than spending 48 hours in Kirikiri Maximum Prisons”.
The former governor, who plied that route in 2012, bemoaned the endless promises made by past administrations concerning the construction of a second Niger Bridge, saying it was akin to using the project as part of the ‘dividends’ of the Civil War.
He said, “Yes, we are now talking of the Second Bridge 43 years after the war. In the American State of Maryland, there is a city called Sandy Point with the William Lane Jnr. Memorial Bridge. The first one was built in 1952. When congestion set in, a second Bridge came up in 1973. That is government in action.
“Work on the Niger Bridge began in 1964 by French contractors Dumez. It took five million pounds to complete it in December 1965. The same year as Bendorf Bridge on the Rhine, Germany and the same month as Oosterscheldebrug that links Flushing to Rotterdam in the Netherlands.
“The Second Bridge will not cost as much as Istanbul’s Bosporus, the link between Europe and Asia. It cannot be as long as Europe’s longest, the 19,822 feet Oland Island Bridge in Sweden. I just pray this job gets started in 2014 as promised,” Kalu stated.
The former governor also had a word of advice for the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), saying a deputy corps marshal should be posted to the Asaba end of the Bridge beginning from December 10, to help ease the traffic gridlock faced by travelers.
“I overheard one family talking of travelling by rail through the North to avoid the bedlam. Another is considering the road route through Okene-Lokoja from Lagos. And these are families who live in Ijesha-tedo. The kids cannot understand why there are three long bridges between Lagos Island and the Mainland while their parents do Christmas arithmetic with the Niger Bridge,” Kalu said.

Renowned environmentalist, Mr. Nnimmo Bassey, has described the Federal Government’s delay in implementing recommendations of the United Nations Environment Programme, UNEP, in Ogoni, Rivers State, as an open sore on the conscience of the government.
Speaking, yesterday, in Port Harcourt, on the sidelines of a roundtable on the report, Bassey said that inaction of the government two years after the report was released, was lamentable.
He therefore urged government at all levels to make the environment a major concern, while calling on the people of Niger Delta to engage in what he termed direct peaceful actions to put pressure on the government to be alive to its responsibilities.
Going round some spill sites in Ogoni with the Co-Chair, Right Livelihood Award Foundation, Dr. Monika Griefahn, Bassey said he was shocked to discover that residents had fled Goin community in Ogoni because of pollution.
“All you see are signposts by HYPREP (Hydro-Carbon Pollution and Restoration Project), saying this is a polluted area. Where do the people go to when all their communities are polluted? Both surface and ground water is polluted. The land itself is polluted. The situation calls for emergency on environment to be declared,” he said, calling on government to take practical steps to implement the report.
He also called for community participation to end oil theft, adding that government should stop opening new oil fields to save the region from recurring oil spills.
The House of Representatives had on November 6 mandated its committees on Environment and Emergency and Disaster Preparedness to carry out an investigation on the non-implementation of the UNEP report on Ogoniland.
A member of the House, Kingsley Chinda, had called for the investigation, emphasising that the Federal Government had not acted on the report two years after it was presented to President Goodluck Jonathan.
The joint committee had since summoned the managers of the HYREP, set up by the Federal Government in the wake of the UNEP report and is expected to report back to the house in four weeks (next week).

The Niger Delta People’s Volunteer Force, NDPVF, has warned Nigeria’s tiny West African neighbor, Benin Republic, to free its leader, Mujahid Asari Dokubo or be ready to incur its wrath.
The NDPVF, a former militant group founded by Dokubo, issued the warning in a statement signed by its leaders, Mr. Rex Ekiugbo Anighoro in Abuja last night, following Tuesday’s arrest and detention of the former militant leader by Benin’s gendarmes (police) in an unknown location.
It would be recalled that radical lawyer, Festus Keyamo, had alerted the nation to the arrest of Dokubo on Tuesday afternoon in Cotonou and lamented that since then, he had been kept incommunicado as his location remained unknowned.
But Dokubo’s arrest by the authorities was likened to a kidnap by the NDPVF, which said it was appalled by the unprovoked breach of the fundamental rights of the youth leader.
It said: “We hold this arrest as an absurdity. It is unprovoked and questionable and has been without any reason from the government of Republic of Benin.
“We consider this as a kidnap of our leader by the President of Republic of Benin working with certain opposition figures in Nigeria.
“We hereby make demand on President Yayi Bonni of the Republic of Benin to release, unconditionally and with immediate effect, our leader Alhaji Asari-Dokubo and offer unreserved apology to him for this monumental breach of his rights.
“We call on all the aggrieved youths of Niger Delta to be on red alert and ready for a total showdown and shut down if in the next 48 hours his release has not been made.
“We call on the President of the Nigerian union to mediate on this potential diplomatic row that may lead to an unprecedented conflagration”.
