BREAKING CELEBRITIES SHOCKING NEWS
82  Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / SEE STATs: 15,000 Violent Deaths Since Jonathan Took Over on: 14-03-2014 01:05 PM

Have you seen the Nigeria Security Tracker, NST? It is free to view online on the CFR (Council of Foreign Relations) US think-tank website. [Link: http://www.cfr.org/nigeria/nigeria-security-tracker/p29483] In fact I think it is the only tracker on the website. Simply visit the home page and type “tracker” in the search box and it will pop up. You see, the US is tracking this cesspool. I am not sure the Nigerian government is counting the deaths; but folks in US sure are, and based upon the trends they have projected where we are headed.

Ex-president Obasanjo wrote a letter to the current President, 'before it is too late'. But It is too late! Someone recently commented on Facebook that he was seriously tired, Nigeria had a new drama every week. I think it is more like a new drama every day, some days two new dramas:
Between Yesterday and today, there were two headlines of missing billions. Two days ago there was one about some N24bn pension funds missing which Minister of the economy said she found yesterday, and just when she said she found it, in the Punch today, a new missing billions headline popped up: 'Reps uncover fresh missing N35bn'.

...I have been following this tracker for a while. In May last year, when I contributed to an article that prompted the President to declare a state of emergency in the northeastern states, Nigeria at the time had under 8000 deaths. Today, with the war against Boko that has been waged with half commitment and missing finance, and with the freedom of Fulani marauders and their Tiv counterparts to kill each other legally, we are at about double that, 15,000 deaths from violence.

Nigeria is still searching for $20-$127 billion oil money missing, exposed by fired Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, the former CBN governor who was also accused by the President, after he exposed the NNPC missing billions of dollars, of having lost a couple of billions of naira. The Berne declaration case late last year of $7 billion which is stolen by Nigerian government middle men pals dealing with Swiss oil barons is still pending and so is the 139 page 2012 FGN probe report of billions looted in exchange oil sale rate shortchanging, with $29 billion losses from selling gas below the cost, $6 billion a year losses from crude theft, and other things the Jonathan ordered probe exposed. Then we have Malabu oil scam—whatever that is, the kerosene subsidy fraud which peels the nation of about $5 million dollars a day, the fuel subsidy fraud cases and culprits still pending. Let’s just cut that there.

But the financial corruption terror the nation faces is half of it, though perhaps the reason why the nation suffers from and has these record deaths. Money for security is stolen; money stolen finances insecurity and terror. Nigeria is a wreck under a reckless regime ruling recklessly. There are incessant killings in the Middle Belt. Fulani kill at will with absolute impunity. Cattle rustlers steal cattle and kill Fulani in return. Benue, Katsina, Adamawa. Everywhere is war.

People carry guns and petrol kegs about to kill and burn homes freely. There is no law. 113 killed in Katsina, 50 in Yobe… Escape Boko bombs in the north east, escape the massacres in the Middle belt and settle south to be kidnapped in Bayelsa, the President’s own home state where his foster dad was kidnapped for 17 days. Where commissioners families are kidnapped. Where just today, SaharaReporters reported that another of the President’s family members luckily escaped kidnap after a hot chase. Where today, SaharaReporters again reported that an Agip vessel just got attacked by Pirates and had its crew kidnapped.

It is a drama a day. I don’t think we still have a country. Perhaps we should call for the nation to be colonized again. We have failed. Jonathan has crowned the failure. Back in the day when the politicians failed this way, the military took over with the intention to save the day. It’s like a Russian roulette. Sometimes we get good. We need a new spin, perhaps we can get a savior, a bullet in the barrel. Things have changed now. It is not the old patriotic-intending military any more. The military are fat.

Nigeria flows rivers of blood and celebrates thieves. All the thieves who have stolen billions walk free and the dead ones who cannot walk and fly in private jets anymore get national awards. Not a single sponsor of terror has been jailed nor has a single government thief, rather ex-killers and thieves have been freed. Without justice, there can never be peace. This nation needs a change fast. No one steers the boat. The only ‘progress’ we record is looting and privatization and new private jets. We had a few ok leaders in the past. Buhari/Idiagbon, Murtala, even Yar’Adua was decent. But today we have a leader who is a chip from the Abacha/Babangida thief and dictator block. His cabinet is filled with their boys and he has shown that dead dictator Abacha is his mentor. Nigeria is in soup! Blood-soup!

Some people don’t see this calamity, the state of anarchy. They are yet alive after all. 113 people in Katsina yesterday understood what I am wailing about. May it not be us tomorrow. Is there not a brave Nigerian youth to seize the day? A brave person, a miracle worker, a miracle nation, anybody, civilian or soldier?

I wonder why the CFR Nigeria violent death tracker, NST, started monitoring since exactly when Jonathan resumed office. There must be something they know. God (or use someone to) help us.

84  Forum / The Buzz Central / "I would have Flogged Donjazzy for disrespecting me"- Eedris Abdulkareem on: 14-03-2014 12:41 PM

I never saw that tweet but Eedris claims inthe past, Donjazzy tweeted "If you are a rapper, your father will never be proud of you.’..He is still angry over that statement and when Punch asked him he said Donjazzy was lucky he didn't mention his name because he would have flogged him..lol

" First of all, why didn’t he stay in London for the British government to give him a record deal? Shebi all of dem stayed in London, while some of them, like Banky W, went to America? But they all rushed back to Nigeria because it is here they could make such money. Of course, in America, they will not get paid $10, 000 for a show. Even some of the Americans like 50 Cent, the highest they will get for a show in their country is $50, 000. But they get paid $500, 000 here. If you could make such money here, you don’t have the right to stand up and say as a rapper, your parent will never be proud of you. Fortunately, it was money from rap music money that I used to build my houses. It was through rap music that I could venture into other businesses and do my agricultural project. It was rap money that I used to sponsor other guys on their trips to Europe.
more below

When Don Jazzy posted that Twitter message, he specifically said: ‘For example, Mode 9’. He did that because he knew Mode 9 will not do anything to him. Why didn’t he mention Eedris? I would have sent people to bring him and get him flogged very well.
But I would have used that to teach him a lesson. Some people may call it controversy, but I will say controversy loves me. It is important to address that issue. This guy has allowed everything to get into his head quickly. He was feeling like Meen, so na Nigeria we dey make all this money now? The British government wouldn’t have given him that opportunity. So, it is we that made rap and R&B possible to the extent that you get paid nicely that you are now insulting. Apology or not, it was important that I addressed that issue."

Funny enough, I am happy that they called me a thug. At least, I am an educated thug. People can say whatever they want. Some even say Eedris is proud. I am proud because hip-hop is proud. But the problem is that dem no know my secret. Dem no know how I dey take dey survive. I never come to dem papa house come ask for money before. The money some of these guys are making in the industry, I am the one that ignited the revolution for them to make it. I am fine and happy that I am doing very well. I am a musician, farmer and businessman. I know what I export to Europe. Germany is my base. I speak German. I am a businessman. I know where I am coming from. I am not an idiot.  Let them call me anything; I have friends in the industry, but I am very choosy. 2Face Idibia is my very good friend, Dr. Fresh is my friend and Terry G is my brother. If I am not friends with you, that mean say we no dey the same level and I’m not going to force myself. Na Eba I wan chop, you say make I chop amala. Na by force?

Not every marriage makes it and even the ones that make it till death aren't always happy, happiness is the key and if you aren't whats the point of being married to whoever, very pointless.

Many marriages in the entertainment industry are breaking due to so many reasons and despite rumours of infidelity about this couple, their love has continued to wax stronger.

Revealing the secret to her marital success, Jumobi, wife of RMD said that they have been able to keep it out if the preying eye of the public, adding that she gradually eased herself out of that circle to avoid journalist making her and her marriage a headline.

Another reason according to Jumobi is the grace of Almighty God who has kept them together as one. She added that though they always have issues or scores to settle like any other couple, they have been able to forge ahead in spite of all the challenges. But for God, it would have been a different ball game. RMD married the former Africa Independent Television (AIT) presenter, Jumobi in 2000, after the death of his first wife.

88  Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / Pastor Confesses Adultery in Church to Congregation, then Drops Dead on: 14-03-2014 12:09 PM

Bishop Bobby Davis & First Lady Christine Davis

It is reported that loud shouts and yells of support were coming from congregants the moment the pastor died
A congregation loudly confronted its longtime pastor about his alleged infidelity — and in the midst of their yelling, the pastor dropped dead.
That’s what happened Sunday at the Miracle Faith World Outreach Church, according to members of the congregation and police sources.
Bishop Bobby Davis, pastor of the Harriet Street church since its founding in 1967, was pronounced dead at Bridgeport Hospital.
“After the service on Sunday the bishop’s family asked us to remain in the church and the bishop confessed to us something that happened long ago,” said Judy Stovall, an elder at the church. “He wanted to come clean with all of us. He wanted to ask our forgiveness.”
Members of the congregation were very vocal with Davis just before he passed out, but they were shouting support for him, Stovall said.
“We were shouting, `We forgive you, we love you,’ but the stress of all of it — he had a heart attack,” Stovall said. “I held his head as he lay on the floor,” she said, her voice cracking with emotion. “Our congregation is hurting now.”
The cause of death is pending further review, according to the Office of the State Medical Examiner.
Police spokesman William Kaempffer would only confirm that a detective has been assigned to the case. “The circumstances are under investigation,” he said.

Prophet TB Joshua has said the missing Malaysian Airlines Flight 370 which left Kuala Lumpur for Beijing on Saturday, and has been declared missing is deep down in the sea. The prophet said all the 239 people on board and crew members are all dead. Here is how he made the revelation;

''The plane concerned is deep inside the sea. Some of the particles will be seen on the surface of the sea any moment from now.

May their souls rest in peace; we pray the Lord gives the family and loved ones the strength to bear the loss. Our prayer and love are always with them, the nation of Malaysia and other countries that had passengers on this flight''.

Funny enough, most of his prophecies have turned out to be true.

93  Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / Sierra Leone’s Former President Ahmad Tejan Kabbah Is Dead on: 13-03-2014 10:14 PM

Sierra Leone’s former president Ahmad Tejan Kabbah, widely credited with returning peace to the shattered west African nation after years of brutal civil war, died on
Kabbah, who led the country during an 11-year conflict in which thousands had their limbs hacked off and 120,000 people were killed, was at home when he was pronounced dead, said John Benjamin, a family friend and former chairman of Kabbah’s party.
The government of President Ernest Bai Koroma led tributes to Kabbah, describing him as “one of the pillars of democracy” in the country.
“He will go down in history as one of the leaders who stood tall in ensuring that he shook hands with people that were rejected by the majority of Sierra Leoneans during the war,” government spokesman Abdulai Bayraytay told reporters.
“If we are now enjoying peace and stability in Sierra Leone, there is no way president Kabbah could be dissociated from that.”
Bayraytay said Koroma would cut short a visit to Congo-Brazzaville to return to Freetown on Friday and pay his respects.
Kabbah was praised for launching a disarmament programme that led to the official end of the war in January 2002 with the help of a United Nations peacekeeping force and British military trainers.
He was also praised for maintaining stability until he stepped down in 2007, although his presidency was also marked by criticism of his failure to lift what was then the world’s second poorest country out of poverty.
The cause of his death was not immediately clear although he had been suffering high blood pressure and had been ill for some time, local media reported, with friends and family making several recent visits to his bedside.
Born in February 1932 to a Muslim family in eastern Sierra Leone, Kabbah received a Christian education and married a Catholic, who died in 1998.
After studying human sciences in Britain, he joined the civil service in 1959.
After the SLPP was defeated in elections in 1968, Kabbah lost his job and all of his property was confiscated. He then left for Britain where he studied law and became a jurist.
In 1970, he joined the United Nations Development Programme and for the next 22 years worked in the United States, Lesotho, Tanzania, Uganda and Zimbabwe.
In 1992, a year after the rebel Revolutionary United Front (RUF) launched a particularly bloody insurrection, Kabbah quit the UN and was named president of a national consultative council.
The body was set up by a military junta to pave the way for a return to multi-party politics and to draw up a new constitution.
- ‘Mayor of Freetown’ -
In March 1996, Kabbah was elected Sierra Leone’s president, becoming the first civilian head of state in more than 10 years.
But the elections, held at a time when several parts of the country were outside government control, earned him the dubious sobriquet of “mayor of Freetown”.
In November 1996, Kabbah signed an accord with RUF leader Foday Sankoh, but the following May he was overthrown in a coup and fled to Conakry, capital of neighbouring Guinea, with the help of his Nigerian bodyguards.
Sierra Leone’s new junta, led by commander Johnny Paul Koroma, allied itself with the RUF.
However, the then Nigerian head of state Sani Abacha, a personal friend of Kabbah’s, vowed to bring him back to power.
On February 12, 1998, following fierce fighting and bombardments, the troops of the west African regional force ECOMOG, led by Nigeria, entered Freetown and chased out the junta, paving the way for Kabbah’s return.
In January 1999, RUF rebels attacked Freetown once again, unleashing a renewed orgy of violence.
The following July, Kabbah and Sankoh signed a peace accord after protracted negotiations and agreed to share power.
At around the same time, UN peacekeepers were dispatched to Sierra Leone but in May 2000, the RUF reneged on its pledges by taking some 500 UN peacekeepers hostage.
When the situation worsened, Britain sent armed forces to its former colony to end the crisis.
Sankoh was imprisoned as Kabbah adopted a hard line on the RUF, launching a disarmament program that led to the official end of the war in January 2002.
Koroma declared seven days of mourning, with flags to fly at half mast across Sierra Leone, according to a statement from his office which described Kabbah’s death as “a great loss to his family and the nation”.
