Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / You'll Be Shocked When You Find Out How This Man Arrests Armed Robbers |
on: 20-03-2014 01:18 PM
| Alhaji Shehu Musa Aljan does not belong to any security agency but he has shocked and surprised citizens of Plateau state with his unconventional means of arresting those criminals giving them sleepless nights and handing them over to Special Task Force on Jos crisis (STF). photo The Kaduna State born man who grew up in Bauchi state reveals his name, Aljan, in Hausa, means spirit. Aljan tells The Sun in this interview that by merely looking at a criminal, he could identify and disarm him and considering the current insecurity facing the country, this is his own way of helping to save the country from criminals. Read his story below: On if how long he has been doing the job: For long, I have been going into the hinterlands to track down those causing trouble for the country, yet nobody has ever paid me a kobo for the job. Even the military has not been doing the job I am doing for the country. I go on my own to bring armed robbers to them. I do not go with any of their men to effect arrest. I go with men under me to places that the security forces cannot penetrate and bring them out for law to take its course. We know how we smoke them out of their hideouts. On his operation in Plateau State: The head of the Special Task Force on Jos crisis (STF) in Plateau is hard working, a nice person. We work hand in hand. When I go out on our operations in the night, he keeps awake till we are through with the operation. I have no relationship with the government of Plateau State. I am not into politics. But the state government is not offended by what I am doing here because it wants peace. Since I started working in Plateau, I have arrested about 28 people with their ammunition and stolen cattle. They confessed that they are not working alone but are being hired by people to commit all these atrocities. It is not only the Fulani doing all these destructions. They are of different tribes working together in teams. There are Fulani, Berom and (Yargan) Taroh, all working together to do the attacks. They have people they report to. After carrying out successful operations, they have their agents and sponsors who receive and sell all the loot. It not true that some of those arrested are not thieves but innocent cattle owners going about with their cows in the bush. From their shoes, caps or anything on them, we can detect them. I do not need to be told who the assailants are before I know them. By mere seeing them I know who they are. If the Nigerian government wants peace, let it enter into alliance with those of us using traditional methods to detect criminals. Our groups exist in different parts of the country. By so doing, all these attacks would be minimized. Money is being wasted unnecessarily in funding soldiers and those of us that have our own traditional ways of solving these problems are dying of hunger. I can boldly say that what I have done in two months, the security men have not done in the last 12 years. There is someone they have been looking for in the past six years, I was the one that went and arrested him. I arrested him in Riyom. I have arrested many, close to 30. I first arrested 16. Then I brought five. And recently, I arrested six with their ammunition. I was not employed by the Plateau State government to do this work. I have never sat with Governor Jang. I do not know him and he does not know me. But with what we have done, all the arrests we have made of different tribes, everyone is appreciating us. People can see the arrest I am making, so no one can say I am not working. If there is any need for me, government can call me if they want. I am a Nigerian and ready to serve anytime. It is God that would reward me. If not for the love of the people, I will not be doing this job. I learnt the job from our boss, the late Lawal in Mambilla in Taraba State. For months, we will be in the bush with our boss getting trained. Aljan who says he's not persecuting any religion says all he does and he is after is arresting criminals as he had arrested about 17 armed robbers with their ammunitions in Kaduna state. On why the police arrested him. I was arrested by the Plateau State Police Command and kept for about seven days. But it happened because of the insincerity of the police. They betrayed me. The Inspector General of Police, M.D. Abubakar is someone that wants a honest job. But there are some few people under him who are using his name to commit many atrocities. Then some policemen came and met me and said the IG had asked that I should be arrested. I asked what my offence was, they said they did not know. So, I followed them. I was kept with the criminals I arrested in a cell. But later, one senior officer said they should not put me together with the criminals. I was then moved to where police officers were being detained. That was where I spent seven days. They came to ask me to write a statement and I said I would not write any statement until I saw the IG. I said there would be no peace if the criminals were released and I was kept in detention. But I only allowed myself to be arrested. If they are up to 1000 and I do not want them to arrest me, they cannot. While I was there, I was able to get a phone number with which I contacted my people, and they came with lawyers. That was how I left the cell. Up till today I have not seen the commissioner again. Since then, when I come back from my expeditions, I liaise with STF or the State Security Service (SSS). I have handed over 20 criminals and suspects to them. I have caught people with cattle, with guns, those going to attack villages, and handed them all to STF. The IG will not say I should be arrested because he knows what I am doing on the Plateau. But I have touched the clique of some policemen and they wanted me punished. You know all these people have their own agents. There are some car thieves that confessed to me that they pay returns to some people. Anchorman Uses Twitpic Live On Air And Accidentally Shows Penis[EXPLICIT PHOTO and FUNNY VIDEO] | | |

| Information has it that the duo of Chinedu Ikedieze and Osita Iheme (Aki and Pawpaw) are going to headline entertainment stars who will cheer the Super Eagles during the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil. The remaining eight Nollywood’s stars have not been listed yet. However, it was revealed that Nollywood stars are not only making calls to the State House, but also pay visits trying to lobby to be among the beneficiaries. Recall that Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has set aside $800,000 (about N138.4 million) to sponsor 10 Nigerians in the entertainment industry to cheer the Super Eagles during the 2014 FIFA World Cup. The financial plan presented to the National Assembly, the NFF had revealed its decision to invite the duo of Chinedu Ikedieze and Osita Iheme, popularly called Aki and Pawpaw and eight other Nigerians in the entertainment industry for the world football fiesta in June. Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / PHOTOS: Meet The ‘Giraffe Lady’ With 11-Inch-Long Neck |
on: 20-03-2014 12:06 PM
| A 28-year-old Los Angeles resident, Sydney V.Smith who wants to become a ‘giraffe woman’ is trying to extend her neck by encasing it in 11 copper rings. Sydney V.Smith According to Sydney, she'd always had a long neck and was called 'giraffe girl' in middle school and then she became fascinated with long necks after she pictures of long-necked tribes in Thailand and Burma in National Geographic. So she started wrapping cut-up coat hangers around her neck when she went to bed and before long she noticed her neck was longer and she stopped for a while. After years of contemplating the possibilities, Smith put her neck on the line and had a tight-fitting necklace made with copper about three years ago and she kept adding an extra ring when needed. She wore turtleneck sweaters to hide her neck rings and also worked restaurant jobs behind the scenes so she wouldn't get unwanted attention. A friend of Sydney's customized the rings and soldered them around her neck. Sydney estimates the rings have stretched her neck to 10 to 11 inches long and is contemplating whether to add a 12th ring. However, Dr. Jonathan Nissanoff, a Southern California orthopedic surgeon said Sydney's extended neck carries health risks and he doesn't recommend anyone doing this. "It could injure nerves in the neck," he said. WHAT KIND PHOTOS ARE THESE HOT "ORANGES' EDITION | | |

Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / Woman Gives Birth To A Healthy Baby Girl After Egg Yolk Was Pumped Into Her |
on: 20-03-2014 11:11 AM
| A 23-year-old woman, Lorraine Donakey, gave birth to a healthy daughter, Lulu-Rose after egg yolk was pumped into her system. Lorraine has a womb biopsy and was told the reason she kept miscarrying was because of ‘killer cells’ that kept attacking the embryo. Lorraine, a forensic psychology graduate from Liverpool had suffered six miscarriages in six years and was losing hope of ever having a baby until she heard about a new treatment available privately. She found out about Rafet Gazvani, a fertility specialist at Liverpool Women’s Hospital, who was offering the pioneering treatment. The treatment involved the use of intralipid liquid, a mix of egg yolks and saline solution, which suppresses the killer cells and allows the baby to grow. Lorraine Donakey and Lulu-Rose Lorraine said, "Finally having her in my arms is indescribable. When she was born I cried my eyes out. Now I’ve got Lulu-Rose I feel so lucky. She’s already spoiled rotten." According to her, she didn’t exercise and she took vitamins every day. Lulu-Rose was born at a healthy weight on January 17 this year and Lorraine is already looking forward to having more babies. WHAT KIND PHOTOS ARE THESE HOT "ORANGES' EDITION | | |

Forum / Relationships & Romance / 10 Lies Most Men Tell Their Partners |
on: 20-03-2014 10:50 AM
| While lies come in all sizes and shades, here are the more common fibs that the male of the species is more inclined to dish out— sometimes to get out of a fix, oftentimes to keep his partner happy, and at other times because it’s ever so convenient and hassle-free! photo 1. “I wasn’t checking her out.’ They will deny till they turn blue in the face that they were checking out another woman while you were very much in the vicinity. They’ll protest how until you accused them, they didn’t even register the presence of the sexy, curvaceous woman in the mall, or airport, or wherever it is such women frequent. 2. “I have not had a smoke/I have drastically cut down on cigarettes.’ When you get on their case and nag them about smoking, or have caught them almost red and nicotine-handed, they insist the smoke you smell from their hair, clothes, breath, or surroundings are from some far away source; it’s certainly not them. 3. ‘It’s only you I fantasize about.’ When fantasizing about someone in their dreamy moments, or when they seek self-pleasure, it’s always with you in his mind, or so they’ll have you believe. How can, they say, you even think they could have anyone else on their mind. Who are they kidding? Let’s face it. Partners are their reality; not fantasy. 4. ‘I was way too qualified for that organisation, anyway.’ The pink slip he got had nothing to do with his position being made redundant. He was just way too good for them! 5. ‘With the GPS, I own the road.’ Fact is even with these technology playthings, many men are perfectly lost. Except that his male pride will never let him admit that. 6. ‘I can’t stay without you more than a day.’ What lies! The fact is no sooner you are gone than the party begins, or at least the planning for one does. 7. ‘I wasn’t sleeping. I was thinking.’ They don’t like being caught napping while at work or watching a movie, so you have to know it’s just their way of putting on their thinking caps. 8. ‘I did not forget.’ If something slips from their mind like sending that courier or asking the plumber to inspect that leaking tap, it’s only because something more important came up, and there were other pressing matters that had to be attended to. Forgetfulness and them? Naah! 9. ‘We don’t think about that all the time.’ This one is a half-lie. What they don’t tell you is that they are thinking about it most of the time. In between work happens. 10. ‘I haven’t lost hair; I have gained face!’ How can his male ego deal with hair loss? It’s a blow to his vanity. So anything, really, to cling on to his youth and erstwhile crowning glory. CAN YOU ROCK THIS? LADIES? | | |

Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / Unemployed Graduates In Nigeria Writes Letter To Jonathan, (MUST READ) |
on: 20-03-2014 10:41 AM
| Our dear president, we write this letter to you with great passion, and in a state of curiosity and concern. We understand your zeal as the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria to invest in the next generation of the country’s youths by presenting a budget that contains reasonable projects that are aimed at tackling the far-reaching malady of UNEMPLOYMENT in our beloved country, Nigeria. But, it is so unfortunate that the unemployed graduates of Nigerian institutions of higher learning have no representatives at the ongoing National Conference. Having read the modalities of the National Conference and the components involved, we are convinced without prejudice or doubt, that our children would blame us if we fail to inform you, Mr. President, of the mockery of the committee as a result of misplaced priorities. Mr. President Sir, the only common element which costs less, and can solve the myriad of problems faced by most Nigerians is EMPLOYMENT. Unemployment is a big challenge in Nigeria, which over the years has represented a lost opportunity for national economic development. With the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) putting the current rate of unemployed Nigerians at 23.9 per cent, up from 21.1 per cent in 2010 and 19.7 per cent in 2009, the rising unemployment rate in Nigeria has in no small measure contributed to the continuous rise in social vices like terrorism, political thuggery, violence and even teenage pregnancies among youths in many parts of the country. In view of these, the Association of Nigerian Graduates against Unemployment, an association of well cultured youths and intellectuals, was formed. We represent the frustrated and angry youths in the society, forced to act after going through the 492 political selections for the National Conference and noticing the deafening silence concerning unemployment and the unemployed. We are happy you know, according to statements credited to you, that Nigerians are already talking about their national challenges through the print, electronic and social media and this is how we intend to make our voices heard. The political selections will only give the same answers and report only what they feel you would be comfortable hearing. The truth, Mr. President, is far from comfortable. What affects us is UNEMPLOYMENT, and we want you to take a critical look at the following issues: 1. Contract Staffing – This is in fact one of the biggest problems hindering graduates from getting jobs. Most of those assumed to be workers in most industries, firms and companies are in fact, not permanent staff. They are all under-employed and are also competing with fresh graduates for any available vacancy. 2. Age limit as a prerequisite for employment opportunities. 3. The issue of years of experience by several government ministries and parastatals. 4. Employment not being on merit. 5. Provision of social welfare for all unemployed graduates and more for the physically challenged graduates. (Return to the quota for each firm to employ, as a percentage of their total workforce, a specific percentage of physically challenged graduates) Mr. President, from the various statistics we have from the National Bureau of Statistics, and other sources, the number of unemployed citizens ranges from 30 to 45 million, and that is about the population of five major cities in Nigeria. An average of 4.5 million graduates enter into the job market annually with no access to soft loans or any type of enabling environment coupled with epileptic power supply, even after the privatization of PHCN. The “YouWin” programme is more like and very similar to the visa lottery game, where only lucky winners are empowered and only the families of public office holders and those in government get the little available jobs. We are citizens and should also be given access to enjoy social facilities like those in government e.g. NHIS scheme. We are products of our society and we want to be treated equally like those in government. We passed through various challenges and delays in school such as ASUU strikes, late school enrolment due to poverty and/or ignorance, bureaucratic arrangement in government, unfortunate policies and administrative problems. Mr. President, we live in a country where people now sell jobs. Everyone had hitherto been quiet about this completely unacceptable and despicable act and it must be looked into. We are human capital, and this is by far, the greatest asset any country can have. We are worth more than the oil in the South-South or the pepper from the North. We cannot afford to sit down and watch ourselves waste away anymore. Our dear president, we commend you for what has been done so far in addressing the issue of unemployment such as NDE, YouWin and others, but we are asking that you help us to help this nation and youth restiveness caused by unemployment by empowering us. We are tired of running out of our fatherland to foreign countries and yet treated and addressed as third class citizens through Visa bonding and the rest, when our country is blessed. The stakes are high now and we are using this opportunity to address the polity that this association is not a political movement or a violent sect. We are a pressure group crying out in splinters but with one voice for our needs in our country ,Nigeria. We denounce and disassociate ourselves from the methodologies of some home based terror groups/sects in the Northern part of Nigeria that have adopted violence and are unleashing carnage on the society in fighting their cause. However, it should not be forgotten that the problems of these Home Terror groups in the North started when their needs were not met, and with lots of anomalies in their society. Now it’s spiraling and all nations are called to join in securing the region. All we are saying is listen to our cries now and not when things go bad. We are accessible and open for discussions on how to forge ahead in addressing the problems of unemployment with your support. Mr. President Sir, ignoring the points raised here can have unpleasant consequences. We implore you to urgently address these points to halt the steadily growing number of angry and frustrated unemployed graduates who may be tempted to channel their knowledge and energy into negativities. God bless you, sir, as we await your speedy response and God bless Nigeria By Ehis Abuya (National Coordinator, Association of Unemployed Graduates). CAN YOU ROCK THIS? LADIES? | | |

Forum / The Buzz Central / Ten Most Anticipated Albums of 2014 |
on: 20-03-2014 09:57 AM
| The Nigerian music industry is no doubt the best in Africa and we have some artistes whose albums we can’t wait to lay our hands on. Yung6ix and Ajebutter 22 have been the only artists to drop their albums so far this year. I shall lead you to the top 10 Nigerian artists we are anticipating their albums in 2014 M. I ABAGA Well, they call him the chairman, he’s always in VIP. MI ABAGA has been the best thing that has ever happened to hiphop in Nigeria. He has four projects to his credit already. His last official album MI2 THE MOVIE was released in 2010, he promised a mixtape the following year, but failed to deliver. However he released his second mixtape, his fourth project in 2012 “ILLEGAL MUSIC 2”. The mixtape was highly criticized by many including myself; I felt like it didn’t worth the wait. Then, we were expecting an official album later that year unfortunately we got none. 2013 looks promising he said, but still no new album from the self-acclaimed “BEST RAPPER IN AFRICA”. I was beginning to think MI is the 9ja version of “DR. DRE”, the album he promised about 10 years ago hasn’t been released till date. He has witnessed and mentored ICEPRINCE to 2 successful albums since his last album. The chocolate city vice president is obvious busy making money. Well, he promised an album this year, his CHAIRMAN album is the most anticipated album of 2014. WIZKID YAAGA! The last time wizkid released an official album was in 2011, he however was part of the EME COMPILATION album in 2012 featuring label mates BANKY W, SKALES, SHAYDEE & NIYOLA. We waited for an album in 2012 we got none from him, 2013 came nothing again! All WIZKID released was crazy-award winning singles. He didn’t have an album in 2years; still he was everywhere making money. Back in 2011, Wizkid and Olamide released their debut album but, since then, Olamide has released 2 other albums and still planning to release another one this year. Wizkid has been into a lot over the years, from the EME drama to launching his own record label STARBOY ENTERTAINMENT. The fans can’t just wait for wizzy to release his DOUBLE-ALBUM, yeah..he revealed he’s releasing a Double album sometimes this year. We just can’t wait!!! WANDE COAL WOW!!! I still can’t believe a WANDE COAL will have just one album to his name since all these years in the industry, with his kind of talent. His debut album under the then MO’HITS sold out. It’s been more than 6years and there is no new album from the amazing singer. He has released more than 8 singles since he released his MUSHIN TO MO’HITS album and I am wondering why he wouldn’t just drop an album. He recently left Don jazzy’s MAVIN RECORDS, thereby officially launching his record label; BLACK DIAMOND ENTERTAINMENT. His second album will drop in few months, he said in a recent interview. We also can’t wait!!! PSQUARE Peter and Paul Okoye are the best set of twins making music together in Africa, no doubt. They released their last album in 2012 called INVASION and made money all through 2013. They also released some ground-shaking singles like ALINGO and PERSONALLY which was the people’s favorite all over Africa. They revealed their plans to drop their 6th studio album this year. There’s always something special about the okoyes that we can’t wait to feel it again on their album. DAVIDO Since the release of his successful debut album O.B.O back in 2012, David Adeleke has been everywhere..On our faces all the time! He shot some amazing videos off his debut album after the release. Since then, Davido has refused to slow down, from one hit-track to another. All the tracks Davido has released from then has been a hit record! Yeah, am talking about the likes of GOBE, ONE OF A KIND, SKELEWU, AYE and others. His album will be released later in 2014. Davido is really working hard to put out a crazy album out there this year and we just can’t wait!!! PHYNO This nig has no album but he’s getting millions. He reminds me so much of when Iceprince released OLEKU, he performed at almost all the shows in Nigeria then with just one single. FINO has been in GHOSTMODE ever since he met Olamide and he has proven to be the MAN OF THE YEAR on different PARCELs. He recently announced that a duet album with rapper and friend, OLAMIDE will be released this year. I don’t know which to expect first this year, maybe his Debut album or the Duet with Olamide but I know he will be releasing a project this year! YEEE! MODENINE Call him the King of Hiphop in Nigeria, you might be right! MODO announced last that he’s planning a commercial album and will be released later this year. He revealed he was working with the likes of Dammy krane, Iceprince and Don Jazzy. We just can’t wait to hear what the hardcore rapper wants to offer. SKALES Controversial EME rapper, SKALES RAOUL a.k.a EME SOLDIER was regarded by many as the future of hiphop in Nigeria some years ago, but he really hasn’t proven himself. His rose to fame was not surprising as he worked hard. Back then he told us he was heading for the Grammys which I think it’s so far from him now…well, he is about to take his first step towards the Grammy chase this year by releasing his long waited debut album. He really has to prove his critics wrong by releasing an amazing album! We are waiting!!! 9ICE Skales is not the only Nigerian artiste that has revealed his intentions for the Grammys; BASHORUN GAA as he’s fondly called is also gunning for the award. 9ice has really not been consistent recently, he revealed that he returned to school to study law. He has 5 albums to his credit already; he revealed plans to release his 6th studio album sometime this year before contesting for a public office in next year elections. He released a double album in 2012 but they weren’t successful in terms of acceptability and number of copies sold. However, he is planning to revive his dying music career with a new album; we hope that works. His worshippers are waiting!!! EVA You can call her the craziest female rapper; you are permitted to also call her the best femcee in the game right now. She’s like the 9ja version of Nicki Minaj, murdering nigs on records, she’s that dope and we love her like that. She released her debut project GIGO EP which has crazy tracks like I DON DID IT and HIGH which brought her to fame. She really doesn’t have many tracks but she’s still the queen of 9ja hiphop at least for now, an album from EVA is what we can’t wait to get later this year. NOTABLE MENTIONS: Dammy Krane, Sasha P, Sean Tizzle, Sinzu, Terry tha rapman. Mo’cheddah might also be putting out some stunts this year! Oh..what about an album fromTONTO DIKEH…are you anticipating?? WHAT KIND PHOTOS ARE THESE HOT "ORANGES' EDITION | | |

Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / British grandmother claims semen is the best anti-aging product |
on: 20-03-2014 09:34 AM
| A UK grandmother, Stella Ralfini, (pictured above) says her wrinkle-free face is all thanks to a semen therapy which she does on her face by applying semen from her lover after segxwal intercourse. Stella, 67, said she learnt the bizarre anti-aging method while in India studying a unique segxwal therapy called Tantra. According to her, all you need is a lover with healthy sperm residue.. "All you need is a lover but if you don't have one you know what to do. All you need to do is just ten days or two weeks, you both should have a nice time and make sure he has a great time, and when your beautiful love making session is over, you are going to scoop this amazing sperm mask in your finger, apply it all over your face, leave it for fifteen minutes and then wash off. I know some of you are thinking "What is she saying?!" but we have to assume that your lover is a healthy clean man and eats wells. Lol. Now which man put grandma Stella up to this? Funnily, she's not the only one who believes in this therapy. Actress Heather Locklear, 51, in a recent interview told a reporter that the secret to her youthful look was as a result of semen on face therapy. Continue... UK Mirror reports that research has however proven Stella and Heather right in the usefulness of semen as an anti-aging substance. Research shows that the Human semen is rich in anti-oxidant, proteolytic proteins that helps to diminish aging lines on faces and helps to destroy dead layers on skin, revealing a more fresher skin layer. The researcher must be a man. Not putting no gaddem semen on my face! Lol. BREAKING CELEBRITIES SHOCKING NEWS | | |
