An Arizona woman has been arrested on bestiality charges after allegedly trying to arrange s*x with a horse via Craigslist.

The woman, who’s described as transgender and who the police report is legally known as Donald Waelde, 22, posted this ad on the Missed Connections section of Phoenix Craigslist on April 8:

“I am 22 years old and I want to play with a male Horse. Simple as that. If you have access to a Male horse, and can allow me access to a male horse, then contact me please Wink I will do something in return.

Waelde’s ad caught the eye of another Craigslist visitor who reported it to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office, Phoenix New Times reports.

Undercover deputies contacted Waelde. During a subsequent conversation, she allegedly stated she wanted to perform oral s*x on the horse and agreed to meet the undercover detective, the paper reports.

The meeting took place on Tuesday and deputies brought along a horse from the sheriff’s Mounted Posse as a prop.

During the meeting, Waelde allegedly admitted to placing the ad and her s*xual intentions with the animal.

She was arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit bestiality.

A search warrant of her home was also executed, according to AZ Central.com.

Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio said Waelde’s arrest was the fourth case since 2011, where an alleged animal s*x abuser was caught on Craigslist. “Cases like these are tough to talk about, but we will always go after those who commit s*x acts with animals,” Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio told KTAR-TV

A Florida man charged with killing his 88-year-old mother claims that the elderly woman asked him to kill her. Richard Guyton Mathews, 62, was in a “highly intoxicated” state when allegedly confessed to a mortician while discussing funeral arrangements, WFTV reports. Flagler County sheriff’s deputies arrested Matthews Wednesday evening. According to reports, Matthews said that he attempted to strangle his mother to death and eventually gave her an overdose of sleeping pills. His mother, Mary Ann Shaw Mathews, was found dead Feb. 21 inside her home. “Deputies and paramedics responded to the home shortly before 7 p.m. on that evening where they found the elderly woman deceased, seated in a chair in the living room,” sheriff’s office spokesman Commander Bob Weber wrote, according to the Daytona Beach News-Journal. “There were no signs of apparent trauma to the body.” The medical examiner noted high levels of medication and evidence of strangulation, according to the Florida Times Union. Matthews is charged with manslaughter.

3  Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / Teacher Arrested For Giving Male Student Lap Dance In Class On His Birthday on: 26-04-2014 10:43 AM

Middle school teacher provides ‘full-contact’ lap dance in front of class for birthday boy

Prosecutors in Houston, Texas charged a middle school teacher because she gave a full-on lap dance to a boy for his birthday in front of an entire class of no-doubt impressed preteens.

The teacher, Felicia Smith, staged the lap dance in her classroom at Stovall Middle School on February 26, reports local CBS affiliate KHOU.

When police interviewed the unnamed student, he said Smith, 42, had seductively placed a school chair in front of the classroom after the tardy bell rang. Music began to play – from some undisclosed source – and several students in the class began yelling raucously that the birthday boy should sit down in the chair.

Once the kid sat down, the fortysomething teacher gave him what was perhaps his first full-contact lap dance. According to a police report, Smith did the thing where she turned around and swiveled her butt on the middle school student. She rubbed her hands all over his body. She also got down on her knees and stuck her head between the boy’s legs.

It’s not clear if the kid enjoyed the lap dance. However, he admitted that he did slap Smith’s ass a couple times.

The incident lasted a little over three-and-a-half minutes — presumably the duration of the song that was playing. It’s not clear which song was chosen for the special occasion.

At the end of the lap dance, Smith hugged the boy and told him, “I love you, baby. Happy birthday,” according to KHOU.

When police questioned Smith, she said she provided the lap dance at the urging of students in the class. She noted that she almost fell down a few times while performing the acrobatics required of the lap dance.

Somebody – it’s not clear who – apparently filmed the spectacle. The Harris County district attorney and the Aldine, Texas police department both have copies of the video.

Smith faces a single criminal charge: improper relationship with student. She is free on a $30,000 bond.

A statement released by the local school district explained that Smith “was removed from the campus during the investigation and has not returned.”

It’s not clear if she is still being paid while her criminal case meanders through the court system.

4  Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / Another Prophetic warning of T.B. Joshua fulfilled on: 26-04-2014 06:52 AM

The words of the leader and founder of the ministry organisation The Synagogue, Church of All Nations (SCOAN), Prophet T.B. Joshua, have turned into reality again after a terrorist attack in Kenya. A car bomb went off outside a police station (pictured) in the capital city of the country, Nairobi, killing four people on April 23, 2014, Wednesday. The Islamist militants of Somali al-Shabab group are allegedly behind the attack. During Sunday’s service (April 20) the prophet warned Kenya that strange people were in the town to make big headlines. He further advised the nation to be prayerful and tighten its security. See the video version of the message below:

T.B. Joshua further predicted that France may also become the next target for the terrorists. It would be recalled that T.B. Joshua’s broadcasting network Emmanuel TV released a video on April 14, 2014, in which the prophet warned about a possible Abuja bomb blast. The prophecy was dated November 10, 2013.

5  Forum / Naijapals Base (Metro life) / Community celebrates 3-year-old girl for settling kingship tussle on: 26-04-2014 01:28 AM

Three year old Mma Abumi  Edet is currently the toast of her community.  The people of Mbarakom community in Akampkpa Local Government Area of Cross River State believe  this “mysterious’’ child  has not only  helped  in resolving an age-long monarchical struggle in their community, but put an end to a catalogue of evils that had befallen them for over a decade.

To reward  Abumi Edet, the community has pledged  to sponsor  her  education to tertiary level as a sign of appreciation.

The new monarch of the community, Sylvester Etim Eta-Agbor, told Saturday PUNCH that  the community would forever be grateful to Mma-Abumi, adding that it would take full responsibility for her education to any level and in any institution of her choice.

The monarch explained, “In our tradition, the killing of the python, especially after crowning a new king, indicates that the true king has emerged. For some time now, living things like snail, periwinkle, which were common sights in the community had vanished because of the evil things that were going on but  after Mma Abumi resolved the traditional stool tussle in the community,  things have become normal.”

The community believes Mma-Abumi is the reincarnated queen of Mbarakom that died in 1980.

The community, according to the new monarch,  had after the demise of  its king,  Effiong Nyong, in 1997 been entangled in controversies which led to the coronation of his successor (name withheld) who was  dethroned after Mma-Abumi allegedly revealed  that he was not the right person for the throne.

On how Mma Abumi suddenlt became a star in the community, her  father,  Mr. Ekpe Edet, told our correspondent that his daughter  had on January 13, 2014 told him that the problems confronting the community were as a result of a wrong choice of monarch.

“It was difficult for me to believe her  because I ran away from that village many years ago and she didn’t even know the village,’’ he told our correspondent.

He said his daughter told him that she knew the solution to the myriad of problems that had bedevilled the community. “ I was initially confused because she had never visited the village and I had never mentioned the name of the community to her before,’’ Edet explained.

Narrating how he succumbed to his daughter’s pressure, Edet, who is a carpenter in Oban, a distant community within the same Akamkpa LGA, said he had  to break his vow  of not visiting Mbarakom after a series of instructions  from his daughter on the need to intervene in the community kingship tussle.

“She had warned that the community was having problems because of the wrong choice of monarch and ordered that a new monarch be crowned,” he said.

He  further said, “I had a vision before and after Mma-Abumi was born in 2010 to go home and make peace with my people but I ignored it. Years later I didn’t obey the instruction that came in form of a vision until she was three years old and  I became seriously tormented spiritually.

“On January 13, while our family fasting was ongoing, we were returning home from the church when my daughter suddenly insisted that we shouldn’t go back to the house but should rather proceed to Mbarakom, otherwise she would die. She immediately fell on the main road and did not allow anyone to touch her that was why we went to Mbarakom.

“To cut a long story short, after so many prayers and revelations in Mbarakom, she instructed that a royal cloth be sown for the new monarch.”

He said  that since the time  he got the true identity of his daughter, he had stopped flogging her.

“She once told me, ‘Don’t you know I’m a queen, I don’t want you to be flogging me or treating me badly,’ Before then, anytime I beat her, she would run out of the house to a lonely and quite place and  cried  and each time she cried she cried like an adult,” he said.

Her mother, Mrs. Maria Edet, said apart from having strange experiences when she was carrying the pregnancy of Mma-Abumi, the little girl had soon after she started talking as a one-year-old child, been telling her things she (the mother) could not comprehend.

“She told us that she was a great woman in Mbarakom. She also told us that her staff and the stone she usually placed her legs on to take her bath were still in her house in Mbarakom. For some time my husband and I were disobedient to her instructions but because of what started happening we were forced to take a trip to the community and all the things she mentioned were confirmed,” she said.

The community said the fact that  Mma-Abumi’s directive on the installation of a new monarch was right was confirmed by  the killing of a python that had attempted to swallow a goat by a middle-aged man, Stanley Okpu, after the new monarch was installed.

The killing of a python  whenever a new monarch is named, according to the traditional belief of the community, is an indication  that the right  monarch has been installed.

Okpu told Saturday PUNCH that he had gone to the farm with his grandson who later called his attention to the scene of a python that had just started swallowing a goat.

“I was in the farm with my grandson and while I was busy tilling the ground, he called my attention to a snake some distance away trying to swallow a goat. I immediately went to the scene with my cutlass and killed the python with four strikes at different spots,” he said.

The news filtered through to the village and with the help of other villagers the dead snake was taken to the monarch’s palace amid jubilation.

The traditional ruler of Mbarakom explained that in the community’s tradition, such killing was significant as it indicated that his coronation was genuine.

He said, “This is a sign for us to know if I am the true king because after crowning a new ruler this kind of thing must happen.”

Recounting  the activities at the community, Eta-Agbor said, “Before now the community was in total chaos and God in His own way sent this girl to come and show the people the truth. This Mma-Abumi was a queen who now reincarnated into the family of one of her grandchildren  who resides in Oban.

“When she came here with her parents, she took us to where she was buried. As of today, there is no building there because the house then was a mud-house which had collapsed. The piece of land is now full of thick grass. We are aware that she died in 1980.”

On the killing of the python, the new Mbarakom monarch explained, “In our tradition the killing of the python, especially after crowning a new king, indicates that the true king has emerged. For some time now, living things like snail, periwinkle, which were common sights in the community had vanished because of the evil things that were going on but after I was crowned things have become normal again.”

He said her mission was to cleanse the village after showing where the problems were and the way forward.

It was gathered that Mma-Abumi  had  relocated with her parents from Oban to the community and she is now schooling at St. Theresa Primary School in Mbarakom.

When Saturday PUNCH visited the community again for the second time, one of Mma-Abumi’s school teachers, Mrs. Josephine Wilfred, said people around the school do not see her as a reincarnated queen but treats her with respect.

Wilfred said, “She is a sound child and she interacts well with her teachers and colleagues. She behaves like Mma-Abumi and many people in school call her Mma.

“We don’t look at her as a child. We give her due respect as Mma but certainly not as a child. There has been nothing extraordinary about her that we have experienced other than she is an instrument of God.”

A lady, Mrs Lucia Edet, who identified herself as the niece to the dead queen, said from all indications, Mma-Abumi was most likely her reincarnated aunty.

She said, “The full name is Ntunkae Mma-Abumi and she was my mother’s immediate elder sister. She was a blind woman and she lived in the room next to mine. I left the village during the Biafra War and when I returned most of our elderly people had died and she was almost left to herself, I took her in to live with me.

“My mother died before her but when it was time for Ntunkae to depart the earth, she died  in my place  and I personally buried her in her father’s compound. When the reincarnated Mma-Abumi’s father came to tell me at first what he had been experiencing, I knew it was something serious.

“She had told her father that they were not from Oban and that she was a queen from Mbarakom. Now each time she visits the new king’s palace which is not far from my house, she (Mma-Abumi) always spends the rest of the day with me here until  both of us  call it a day. She says this was her original home.”

6  Forum / The Buzz Central / I used to dream of big boobs –Evaezi on: 26-04-2014 01:11 AM

Dark-skinned singer and actress, Evaezi Ogoro, tells Ademola Olonilua about her fashion sense

Why is it that most times when you go for events you apply light make-up?

Actually I like make-up. I think make-up in itself is an art and it takes a highly creative person to achieve a good make-up job. I appreciate the creativity of a great make-up artist. I don’t see myself as a great make-up artist but I try my best. I make up according to where I am going. If I am not going anywhere or I just want to hang out with friends, I don’t really think I need to make up but if I am going on the red carpet, I use make-up creatively. I try to use some colours just to set me apart. I make up according to the situation.

Your ear holes do not seem to be even, how come?

I perced two holes on each ear and one hole is bigger than the other. At some point in my career when I was still trying to define my style, I loved wearing a long dangling earring  and leaving the other ear free. I think that made one hole bigger than the other.

As a dark-skinned person, have you ever wished you were fair in complexion?

Yes, there was a point in my life when I wished I was fair skinned but that was when I was younger and naïve. I think it was after my secondary school or when I was going into the university. I had a crush on a guy and he liked this particular fair girl. I assumed that maybe he liked the girl because she was fair. When I asked around, especially some of my ‘unfriendly’ friends at the time told me to try a particular cream that toned the skin. Instead of saying the cream bleached, they told me it toned the skin. They said it would bring the skin colour out more and I believed them. As God would have it, I have a very sensitive skin so I cannot use just anything. When I used the cream, I had a serious skin reaction and it was a terrible reaction that gave me a burning sensation. After that, I felt content with my natural skin colour.

Now that there are better products in the market, would you still want to be fair skinned?

Never. Would I say God made a mistake? There are some creams that nourish the skin with some vitamins to make it healthier. When you have a healthy skin, it glows but does not change colour. When you start using harsh chemically-enhanced creams because you are trying to be fair, you are stripping your skin of nutrients and its protective cover. Should such the person need surgery, it would affect the person because by the time the doctors would need to stitch the person, the skin would not be hard enough to hold the stitches. This would definitely cause complication. There are a lot of down sides to bleaching. I love myself the way I am and I doubt if I would want to change my skin colour.

If you were to either enlarge or reduce any part of your body, what would it be?

If I was asked this question about eight years ago, I would shout yes. I was a late bloomer and at some point, I was really crazy about Bosom  enhancement. It was the time when there was the craze about Modupe Ozolua. I actually went to how to enquire how much it would cost me to have Bosom  enlargement. Also the girls in secondary school then used to make jest of me because I did not have bust but big buttocks. I always wondered why I was flat in front and big behind. Then I was thinking of getting Bosom  enlargement. As I grew older, I began to realise that my being big behind is actually an asset. I thank God the boobs being came out. Right now, there is nothing I would want to increase or reduce.

When it comes to fashion, what does your boyfriend like you wearing?

He likes me wearing body hugging clothes. He likes stretch material on me as well. He likes short gowns that are sassy and sexy.

How did you meet him?

We had been very good friends for a long time. He always made me laugh but I never saw him as being my lover. I had already put him in ‘friend zone.’ Unknown to me, he was loving me from afar and always respected me. He was there when I dated some guys and it did not work out. He was always my support and one day, he seized the opportunity of a collapsed relationship I had to pour out his mind. It still took me a long while to see him as a lover. As God would have it, I eventually saw him in that light and the rest is history.

What is your fashion weakness?

I am a perfume freak. I love gold and jewellery accessories. I love mixing my perfumes because they give an explosive aroma. I have about six different bottles of perfume right now and I think I still need to get more. I love fragrance and later in life I would still have my own perfume line.

You say you love accessories, what is the highest amount you can spend on them?

I am a very prudent spender but I think I can spend as much as N100,000 on just an item.

How easy is it for a plus sized lady to get clothes to buy in Nigeria?

It is a lot better now. There are some boutiques that are dedicated to just plus sized ladies and people with big feet. There are actually some boutiques that I know that offer such services. Now even normal boutiques stock their shops with sizes 16 and 18. I am a size 14/16 and it is a lot easier to get what I want unlike before. The truth is that we are in Africa and African women are normally plus sized.

You are known as a musician but recently you delved into the movie industry; why?

Acting has always been a passion. While growing up, it was always music and movies for me. I could be in front of the television for a whole day. It has always been on my mind to be an actress and a singer. Music started first and I have always been begging my uncle, Kingsley Ogoro, to allow me act but he never agreed probably because of my late father. I got the opportunity when Charles Novia called me and said he needed a singer to play a part in his movie.  From that movie, Emem Isong called and I later went on to act in Shuga.

If your father were alive, do you think he would have allowed you to explore your talent?

My father was a strict person. I was quite stubborn and it has not left me till today. Initially, he was not happy with me delving into music. I stood my ground and eventually, his friends started telling him they loved my songs when they watched me on television. He was okay with my career before he died and if he was alive, I know he would not have had a problem.

7  Forum / The Buzz Central / I met my mum for the first time when I was 17 –Nneka, Nigeria Idol judge on: 26-04-2014 12:58 AM

German-Nigerian hip/hop and soul singer, Nneka Egbuna, tells ‘Nonye Ben-Nwankwo how she got into music

How did you become a part of Nigeria Idol judges?

A friend of mine who is in charge of my PR called me and asked me if I would be interested in it and I said I was. Initially, I had my doubts since I hadn’t done anything like this before. But now that I am here, it is tasking but at the same time, okay. I have learnt to negotiate and listen to what the other judges have to say about the contestants.

How has it been all this while?

It has been okay. I had my issues at the beginning with being a judge, telling people how they should be. That I think is the major and vital key that should be given to these contestants. You should not lose yourself. You should not lose who you are just because you want to be a star.

Are there some contestants you feel that shouldn’t have bothered coming on the show?

I was so shocked the other week when those who I considered to be talented weren’t voted for. They didn’t make it to the top 12 of the show.  Most of the contestants who have been able to make it to the top so far are people who are well connected. They have people who can recharge cards and vote for them. It is based on connection and sympathy. There was a contestant who, as far as I am concerned, was one of the best. But she wasn’t voted for.

You have won so many international music awards including the Music of Black Origin (MOBO) awards. Interestingly, you don’t behave like the average Nigerian celebrity. Is there a reason you look so ordinary like the girl next door?

How does the average Nigerian celeb look like? In any case, it would be strange for me to be like somebody else. It is not as if I don’t like good things. If you ‘dash’ me Range Rover sports, I will accept it. I might even wear ‘killer’ heels if you give me one. I might even look good on them. But what if I start feeling uncomfortable? I have to be myself all the time. I think it is safer for me. I like being simple.

Did you expect to win the MOBO?

Never! I didn’t expect it. I didn’t even expect I was going to be a musician, let alone winning an award. I never saw myself as a singer. I didn’t see myself as somebody who had a good voice. I remember my days in secondary school in Warri (Delta State). The likes of Omawunmi (Megbele) were the ones with good voices. They were in the school choir and we always admired them and their courage.  I was always laid back and I would sit quietly at a corner. I never wanted to be the centre of attraction. I had to eventually tell myself that, ‘Nneka, it’s okay to sing.’ I told myself it was okay to earn money.

Your kind of songs must have put you into trouble before…

Oh yes. It has. I performed in Port Harcourt some-time ago during the Niger Delta Peace concert and officials of the State Security Service got me arrested. I performed my song, VIP, which was inspired by the late Fela Anikulapo-Kuti. VIP means Vagabonds in Power. The song is about the oppression in the Niger Delta. I made the audience sing along with me during that performance. The politicians didn’t find the song funny. They sent the SSS to arrest me. I don’t know how but we eventually got out of it.

But that experience should have stopped you from singing such songs…

No! Never! That is one of the favourite songs of so many of my fans in Nigeria and even Nigerians in the Diaspora. They love that song. I didn’t even mention names in the song. Fela mentioned names in his songs. I am not saying I am so knowledgeable about politics in Nigeria. I only sing about injustice. I will never stop. We all have a conscience.

Taking you back to your days in secondary school when you said you didn’t want to be known, but with your skin colour, you must have stood out in the crowd?

Yes. I was not known as a singer but I was known as a ‘Scripture Union’ mixed breed girl who used to wear one long skirt and blouse. I just wanted to be humble. But I eventually realised that humility shouldn’t be taken as stupidity or timidity. It is good to be humble but don’t allow people to take you for granted. Warri dey for my blood well well. Nobody can remove that one.

Can you remember how you started music?

It was when I travelled to Germany that I began to have the time to invest in what I had passion for. Somebody who had asked me if I wanted to go into music had advised it was important I wrote my lyrics. I started with writing on my diaries. Then, I had the courage to sing the lyrics I wrote. I had people who complemented me. Most of them were men. With time, I started performing at different places. Eventually, I got signed to Sony Records.

How did you get the Sony deal?

I was looking for job in town; I had got fired from my previous job as a sales girl. I needed money to finance my studies. I saw a signboard- Yomama Records- and underneath it was written ‘Mother is the best.’ This is my name. Nneka means Mother is supreme. I just went there. I asked them if they would allow me to show them the four songs I had. I always carried my songs around. The man was so kind to allow me to show him. He listened to all the songs without skipping. I remember him telling me that he liked my courage. That day was a rainy day. I was wet but he allowed me to sit on his leather sofa. He was very nice to me and he offered me a drink. He told me to organise a show and invite him. I was able to do that a few months later.  Thereafter, he offered me a deal. I am still signed to Sony Music 12 years after.

Why did you leave Nigeria?

I wouldn’t say I left Nigeria. I travelled out basically because of conditions beyond my control at that time. I didn’t have an easy childhood. There was a time I would want to hide that part of my life but I think I am older now. I need to open up because there are so many people out there who can benefit from my story.

Was your childhood that tough?

It was very tough. Growing up in a polygamous home is not easy and the issues that come with it especially being tagged a witch. It wasn’t an easy thing. A lot of things happened to me.

Were you abused by your step mother?

Spanking a child is not really a bad thing but when it gets out of control, it becomes a problem. When the person spanking you is actually enjoying it and doesn’t know the limit, then you have to go and save your life. You have to run away. I don’t need to get into details.

Was that what happened in your case?

Yes! I was maltreated a lot. It was bad. To be frank with you, it was bad. But it is okay now. I appreciate the lessons I learnt. I will never do that to my kids.

Couldn’t it be that you were so stubborn and they tried to correct you?

It wasn’t like that. I don’t really want to talk about it. I am fine now. But I tell you, the way my friends got trashed at home wasn’t the way I was trashed. They trashed me. Ah! They beat the living day light out of me. Ah! Lets’ even say it! We need to say it as it is! They dealt with me.

What kind of relationship do you have with your father and step mother now?

Well, we are good now.

Where was your mother all that time?

I didn’t grow up with my mother. That is another difficult story. She wasn’t there. I only met my mother at the age of 17 for the first time. That was when I was in Germany. I was there for a month and I was sent back. I had to find my level again.

How come we are yet to identify you with any guy?

I don’t know. There is nothing to talk about now. There is nobody for now.
