1  Forum / Politics / Re: militants... on: 2-08-2008 02:22 PM
Hi, Khadijah. The truth of this matter that no one seem to know is that the word 'militants' is really not the right word to call these people. I am opportuned to have a father who lectures at the Niger Delta University, Amassoma, Bayelsa State and I have also been there about 3 times spending nothing less than 2 weeks on each trip and I found out something significant, everybody sees the Niger Delta region as a problematic place in Nigeria but it is not. It surprises me that you don't even see these so called militants on the road not to talk of identifying them. These militants are deep in the creeks. They kidnap only those who are against there progress or people close to such people. They are really figthing for their land because development is at its bearest minimum in the Niger Delta region. Everywhere is filled with water construction of houses is difficult and where you are able to build your house, in the next few days, an oil company might spot oil under your building and they will surely destroy your house but will pay you compensation but the truth of the matter is that the compensation paid cannot be valued to your house, though it is much more money paid but it can't perfectly fit into the house you laboured over and that was pulled down, cars are expensive and life is also generally expensive. And from the ulterations of the government, you will see that the government is only interested in what they will get from that region, not what they can do for them. These 'militants' are really fighting for the right course and come to think of it, no one gets kidnapped by them and is killed or rough handled, they are returned safe and sound. I wish you can do there and see for yourself. The Niger Delta region is very peaceful and okay. These people don't attack ordinary people, but influential people.
2  Forum / Education / University of Ilorin Post U.M.E. Problems on: 2-08-2008 12:51 PM
The University of Ilorin popularly known with the slogan "better by far" has come up again. The post ume will be a computer based test, candidates are required to pay the sum of 3,200 naira for the test. The test will run from 11th-30th of August. What do you guys think? Apart from the fuss accompanied with this, the amount being charged by the University is also too exhorbitant. Guys could you do me a favour by debating this?
3  Forum / Relationships & Romance / Re: wat do u think about sex b4 marriage on: 11-07-2008 02:29 PM
I really don't like it,the truth is that we are both sure we are going to get married so why the rush? Abeg wetin no good no get another name dem dey call am! Some pple rush into sex before marriage cos the guy will say he wants to see if the girl can be pregnant but the truth of the matter is that it is God that gives children, so all things are in his hands. If you rush into sex before marriage and both of you later get married, there will be a circumstance that will arise and the male will use it to abuse the female and if she wants to defend herself the guy will say he just pushed it to her to see if she will accept and she was too gullible to eat the bait. ladies beware, all the blame will come upon you later, if you want trust in your marriage, should abstain from this, we as youths should always learn to speak the truth. Thanks. It's me Blesyn a.k.a. Shining angel (A Nigerian with a Difference). Datz ma msg to all. Peace out

If I like someone, I make my first move by trying to like open up a discussion with the person, this will help no the person the more, try to also build up a friendship with the girl, then see if the person is someone I can be with, this is not for guys whose only motive is to have sex with the girl but building a long standing relationship with the girl, hala guys, dis is my own view.
