The only people who know why Solange attacked Jay Z on Monday night is Solange, Jay Z, Julius the bodyguard and Beyonce. Others who claim to be insiders can assume what they want, but until the parties involved speak or we get the audio to what was said in that elevator, we will never know.

NY Daily news is claiming the reason real reason Solange attacked Jay Z is because he planned to go to Rihanna's Met Gala after party without Beyonce. (makes no sense to me). Report below ..

The dispute that prompted Beyoncé’s sister to attack Jay Z at a Manhattan hotel centered on the rapper’s wish to keep the party going at a shindig hosted by RiRi, the Daily News has learned.
Tensions were already running high when Jay Z — while walking to the now-infamous Standard Hotel elevator — said he was going to the Rihanna bash rather than heading home with Beyoncé.
“Why can’t you go home?” a drunken Solange Knowles said to her brother-in-law as they left the swanky May 5 Met Gala after-party, a source told The News.
Then the 27-year-old singer turned to her 32-year-old big sis Beyoncé.

“Why does your husband need to go to the club right now?” Solange asked, according to the source.
An incensed Jay Z took offense to Solange getting involved in his business.
You’re one to talk,” he shot back at Solange, the source said.
  Jay Z’s sharp reply sent Solange into a violent rage. She attacked Jay Z with a series of furious kicks and punches in a three-minute outburst that was caught on surveillance video and leaked Monday.
The bad vibes between Jay Z and Solange started 15 minutes earlier when a group of Solange’s nonfamous friends from Brooklyn showed up uninvited at the star-studded soiree, a source told The News.

“Two of her friends, who were not dressed for the Met ball, showed up at the Standard and caused a scene downstairs,” the source said.
“They wouldn’t leave and kept name-dropping Jay Z. They were pretending they were guests of his and not hers. Management went to Julius (Beyoncé’s bodyguard) and said there’s a problem.”
A source said Jay Z got wind of it and snapped at Solange — saying “don’t use my name.”

Solange said she wanted to leave the party. Jay Z agreed to go but said he was going to head to Up & Down on W. 14th St., where Rihanna was holding her own post-Met Gala bash, a second source said.
Jay’s camp had called ahead of time to say he would be coming alone and “didn’t need extra security” because Beyoncé wouldn’t be attending, the source said.

That apparently didn’t sit well with Solange, who “appeared drunk and irritated” and flipped out on Jay Z as soon as the elevator doors closed, a source said.

Jay Z — who didn’t raise a hand to Solange as she fired off punches and kicks before getting restrained by a bodyguard — ultimately decided against heading to the Rihanna party.

Reps for Beyoncé, Jay Z and Solange did not return requests for comment.

37year old prophetess Bose Oluwole (pictured above) of the Celestial Church of Christ in Epe, Lagos has been arrested by the police for allegedly setting her 9 year old daughter, Damilola, on fire. The woman said her child was possessed with witchcraft and was trying to deliver her according to God's instruction to her. She allegedly poured kerosene on the little girl's body and set it ablaze.
 
Damilola is currently at the Epe General Hospital where she is being treated for first degree burns in the emergency ward.

She was immediately charged before an Igbosere magistrate court by the police for attempted murder but the presiding magistrate, Mrs. C. J. Momodu directed the case be transferred to a family court due to the age of the young girl. The case comes up for hearing at the Family Court on June 2nd

According to reports, Jay Z and Solange were spotted shopping for jewelry together yesterday May 13th in NYC. If they've already reconciled, then it means this behaviour between them is common.

Jay Z and Solange Knowles went looking for jewelry together Tuesday afternoon at a high-end NYC jewelry store ... TMZ has learned.
Our sources says Jay and Solange were in Mr. Flawless, where they were looking for women's jewelry for around 20 minutes.
We're told the pair showed no signs of strife, and looked at gems with Mr. Flawless himself. They looked, but tried nothing on. They left the store without buying anything.
Jay & Solange didn't talk much inside the store ... they pretty much just browsed quietly.

Officials of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency has arrested Osun state born 51 year old Odeyemi Ademola Ayodeji for being in possession of 3.870kg of suspected Methamphetamine worth over N2.4 million.

Odeyemi, who hid the illegal substance inside a white transparent polythene inside his luggage containing soup ingredients(crayfish, melon) was arrested during the outward screening of passengers on a Kenyan Airways flight at the Muritala Mohammed International Airport.

When he was arrested, Odeyemi said he was neck deep in debt which forced him to venture into this illegal business and said that he had tried it before
"I am owing people. I couldn’t sleep because of debts. I have two wives. But the first one left to live with her parents because of  my condition. I would have made a profit of $15,000 (N2.4 million) had I succeeded in selling the drug in Nairobi. I intended paying my debts and start a business with the money realized.” he said
Describing the illegal drug, NDLEA  Airport Commander, Hamza Umar said
“Methamphetamine often called ice or meth is a crystal-like powdered substance that sometimes comes in large rock-like chunks. It is odourless, bitter and dissolves easily in water or alcohol.”

Wonders shall never end. Following information from her boyfriend, the 323 Artillery Brigade of the Nigerian Army in Akure, Ondo State, has arrested a woman, Angela Omieh, for operating as a soldier illegally.

Sets of military uniform, police extract and a sworn affidavit for loss of her military identity card were said to have been found with Angela. She admitted that she is fake, claiming it was meant to make ends meet.
In the words of Angela: “I bought the uniform from Army depot in Zaria. I attended the Nigerian Army depot in Zaria, Kaduna State. I could not continue my education when my father died, so I decided to buy the kits to help me travel to Cotonou, Benin Republic for business with ease.”
The Public Relations Officer of the brigade, Captain Ademola Adegoke, said Angela was arrested following tip off by her boyfriend. According to him, Angela Omieh, who resides in Mile 3, Diobu, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, was discovered to be in possession of two pairs of camouflage, camouflage T-shirt and short, one pair of desert boot, one jungle hat and three handsets.

He said the suspect had been parading herself as a soldier attached to the 149 Battalion, but deployed to the Joint Task Force in Warri for duty.

Adegoke explained that the suspect’s boyfriend, Mr. Collins Jegede, narrated how he met Angela on one of the social networking site where she appeared in military outfit.

Mr Jegede said he wooed her and she paid him a visit in January 2014 in full military uniform.

He was also said to have reciprocated the visit, but was surprised that she lodged him in a hotel at the Ijaiye area of Lagos State instead of 149 Battalion, Ojo Military Barracks, where she claimed to be working.

Captain Ademola Adegoke said, “Jegede reported the case to the officer-in-charge of a military checkpoint at Owo following his suspicion that his girlfriend was a fake soldier.”

From what credible sources in Abuja told .net, there is a grand plot to make somebody very close to President Goodluck Jonathan the new Inspector General of police for the purpose of 2015 election. The said police officer have enjoyed accelerated promotion to the position of DIG within the last five years.

To achieve this agenda, the Inspector General of Police, Mohammed Abubakar, is has been directed to proceed on terminal leave any moment from now.
Findings indicated that the replacement for Abubakar who became the acting IG on January 25, 2012, might be announced early next month by the government.
Powerful forces in the Presidency has blocked moves to extend the tenure of the IG Abubakar who has largely restored confidence in the force and has the capacity to manage 2015.

CNN this afternoon reports that not all the girls that were seen in the new video just released by the leader of Boko Haram sect, were all abducted from Chibok last month. According to them, no parents have come forward to claim any of the girls abducted from the school raid, but instead relatives have said they have identified their relations (girls) who have been missing for close to two years now.

Borno State Governor also says they are currently investigating the video to know how genuine it is.
 

A father says he feels "raped" after a nurse sealed his newborn son's lips with tape because he was crying too much. Ryan Noval and his partner Jasmine Badocdoc made the horrifying discovery after they visited their son at a nursery in a private hospital.

According to Mr Noval, his partner, Jasmine, was told their boy's mouth had been taped because of his constant crying. When Jasmine demanded the nurse remove the tape immediately she was reportedly told: "You can go ahead and take it yourself ma'am."

The incident occurred in Cebu City in the Philippines and an investigation has been launched into the nurse's conduct.

The father has since posted pictures of his son's sealed lips on Facebook, saying:
"I feel raped as a parent. Meet my son Yohannes Noval!! He cannot speak about his horrific experience from the attending nurse's hands…so we have to speak out for him. If you think your newborn babies are safe, think again. Your babies could be silent victims and you will never really know about it!!!"

There are reports that a lion escaped from the Nekede Zoo in Owerri, the Imo State capital last night. The State's local radio station Orient FM made the broadcast. It is said the police command and the management of the zoo are doing their best to track down the lion as the public is also advised to be on the lookout and be safety conscious. A resident says she took her child to school only to be told no school cos of the lion's cage break.

 Torch carrying popular 90s singer Zaaki Azzay has remarried two years after his first wife & mother of his three children, Hadiza Yadoo, left her marriage claiming domestic violence.

Zaaki quietly married his new wife, 24 year old Hembadoon Ugema (pictured right) at the bride's family home in Ushongo in Makurdi, Benue state this past Saturday May 10th.

According to people in the know, Zaaki's new wife is kinda related to his ex-wife. Hembadoon's mum is married to Hadiza's father's younger brother (Hadiza's uncle) and this family drama forced the girl's family to suspend the wedding, which was supposed to hold in April, until it was resolved. Congrats to them.

This is a story flying around in the media and from what I heard it happened in Lagos. The story below:
"Kemi, kindly help warn people o. My aunt just came back and she is shaking seriously for she witnessed a strange incident some minutes ago. She boarded a bus from her office to drop at Ikotun this evening and unfortunately the bus had no conductor so one woman - one of them (passengers) decided to play the good Samaritan by helping the driver collect the t.fare from passengers.
Everyone co-operated and paid o except for one old man like that. Eventually he brought out his N50 and gave the woman to give the driver. Immediately this woman collected the money, she started shaking like someone that had been hit with 'warapa'...the shaking got so bad that the driver had to pack and everyone started shouting on the old man to undo whatever he had done to the innocent woman after all it was after she collected the money from him that she began shaking. Kemi, the old man now said they should let him rub the woman's Bosom  so that the shaking can stop. While rubbing her Bosom , they both disappeared like film trick.
Everybody in the bus shouted and scattered o, even the driver fled o. You needed to have seen the commotion. Please help warn Nigerians to be careful, all these kidnappers keep devising new methods everyday, only God knows where that woman is now."
