It's lack of self-confidence. I had a friend like that. We were good pals for like 5 yrs and he never for once told me about his feelings. I suspected but since he didnt say anything I thought I was mistaken. He later told me a week to my wedding how he felt from the moment he met me. Can you imagine? Well thank God he kept his mouth shut cos I would have missed. It's not all guys that allow their wives to freely and truly be themselves.

Well, you don't have a choice than to believe her until you catch her with the dude. Furthermore, you can launch an investigating strategy on her to know the real truth. Good luck!
I agree

though I guess you don't trust her anyway but just for the benefit of a doubt, launch a discrete investigation
7  Forum / FunnyHub (Jokes + Comedy) / Top 10 Reasons Why Men Shouldn’t Be Ordained on: 1-10-2009 06:50 AM
10. A man’s place is in the army.

9. For men who have children, their duties might distract them from the responsibilities of being a parent.

8. Their physical build indicates that men are more suited to tasks such as chopping down trees and wrestling mountain lions. It would be “unnatural” for them to do other forms of work.

7. Man was created before woman. It is therefore obvious that man was a prototype. Thus, they represent an experiment, rather than the crowning achievement of creation.

6. Men are too emotional to be priests or pastors. This is easily demonstrated by their conduct at football games and watching basketball tournaments.

5. Some men are handsome; they will distract women worshipers.

4. To be ordained pastor is to nurture the congregation. But this is not a traditional male role. Rather, throughout history, women have been considered to be not only more skilled than men at nurturing, but also more frequently attracted to it. This makes them the obvious choice for ordination.

3. Men are overly prone to violence. No really manly man wants to settle disputes by any means other than by fighting about it. Thus, they would be poor role models, as well as being dangerously unstable in positions of leadership.

2. Men can still be involved in church activities, even without being ordained. They can sweep paths, repair the church roof, change the oil in the church vans, and maybe even lead the singing on Father’s Day. By confining themselves to such traditional male roles, they can still be vitally important in the life of the Church.

1. In the New Testament account, the person who betrayed Jesus was a man. Thus, his lack of faith and ensuing punishment stands as a symbol of the subordinated position that all men should take.

I dont know if this will work. I hope it does cos it has come to a situation that requires drastic line of action. At least the authorities will be reassured that the protesters are not caring weapons hidden anywhere since they will all  be naked Smiley My prayer is that God should intervene in this situation ans all other "Nigerian situation"

Domestic violence is rampant in today's society and reading some of the  comments it's so sad that pple are joking over the issue. Do you know how this woman have suffered in the hands of her abusive husband? If he came to her with love and tenderness she would not have refused. It's just so sad

I'd love to hear your thoughts on the issue of having firearms in the home. Is there any policy on possesion of firearms by citizens for the purpose of protection?
My dad and my partner believe it is good to have a gun or two at home for protection. I've always objected to having firearms in the home until recently. Armed men of the underworld broke in to my house when my partner was not around leaving me and my 7 yr old daughter alone. Since it was hot, no public light supply and the generating set was broken down, I had practically nothing on. It was just God that helped me to wrap myself in the bedding before they finally broke down my front door (or should i say scattered my front door in pieces). All that was on my mind was God these men can carry everything as long as they don't rape or shoot us (God answered my prayers). I'm sure you've heard some horrendous things these men do to women and even small baby girls.
Only two of them had locally made pistols, imagine if I had some pump-action at home (by the way I'm usually very calm when faced with sudden problems/danger). I would have been sure to protect my child.  Cos the beating they gave her just to remove the gold from her ears still hurts me till today. She's the only thing my hubby and I cherish in this world.
So right now I'm seriously considering have a gun at home.
